I love this little iconic burger shack in Falls City, not far from Snoqualmie Falls. I call it a shack because there is no indoor seating. They do have a drive thru. If you go during peak summer hours don't expect it to be fast, and you will see people milling around outside because they are waiting for their food, or they may have just gotten it and are smashing it right there. If it's not peak time, it does not take that long. I think the burgers are a good size compared to other locations in this category. My experience was decent. Two stars because young woman working the window on 11-8-2025 around noon asked for a tip. This was not only unexpected from a to go place, but a little entitlement in her part. Not only did they get my order incorrect, but we shouldn't be asking customers to tip. The regular fries were BIG. They're similarly to Burger King sized fries but the portions were massive. Even with two people can't finish that. They're crispy and fluffy inside, tasted like as if they're fried in real lard which is a rare. Healthier old school frying method compared to fast food chains. We stopped on a recommendation without realizing that it is just about the least accessible eating establishment in the area. Standing is the only option while waiting for the meal (or sit in your car and hope you go back in to get it at the right time). The food was decent- a little salty for my taste- but the burger was flavorful without being juicy and the serving of fries was larger than expected. Nothing beats a classic, old school burger and Small Fryes is just that in Fall City. It's a small building where most people get takeout of burgers and fries and shakes (there are no seats inside). Sure, the prices I'm sure have increased since it has opened as it's been around for years, but for a classic burger and fries, it's solid. I visited Small Fryes while in the area and ordered the double cheeseburger combination, which came with fries and a drink. For this combination, with tax and tip, it was close to $20. Everything is made to order though, and I waited for about 15 minutes for my meal to be ready. Yes, the double cheeseburger was messy, but what old school burger isn't? It was pretty tasty with melted cheese and the classic toppings that went with. There was a little too much of the condiments, but I mostly enjoyed it. The fries though were double fried, which I had no idea they do here, and I love that! There's something about the double-dipped and fried fries for that extra crunchy bite that makes all the difference, and it was delicious. It also was a lot of fries, so is easy to share. Overall, this casual burger joint is on the pricier side, but nowadays, it seems like that's the case for everywhere in the Seattle area. My family and I came here after leaving Snoqualmie Falls. It's a hole in a wall type of place with a small parking lot and drive thru. I don't recall seeing anywhere to sit and eat so we took it to go. Keep in mind that they make everything fresh, so it may take a while to get your order. We were a big party so we tried a variety of things like their value cheeseburgers, monster combo, buffalo-meat, fish sandwich combo and bacon cheeseburger. We ordered fries on the side. We all enjoyed the food and the order of fries were surprisingly big. We would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for a good burger spot. Small Fryes is very much a roadside burger shack that looks like something the health department is salivating to shut down. It has an inconspicuous drive thru window on the side of the building. When you peek inside, it looks more like a supply closet than a kitchen. The menu is pretty straightforward and the combo price is reasonable. I parked in the shanty lot and waited for the employee to bring my bag of food out 10 minutes later, so at least it was made to order and not sitting under a heat lamp. He remembered to include some ketchup packets without me asking. Maybe it's because I hadn't had a burger in a month, but it really hit the spot. It was big, smushed, greasy, sloppy, and had a nice smashed char to the meat. The fries were nothing fancy but a nice balance of potato and crisp. Plus a fizzy Coke to wash it down. Been wanting to try this place for a while now. Turns out their Veggie Burger is just the way I like them, with a Gardenburger patty! It was delicious and reminded me of Burgermaster, who also serves Gardenburger patties. 28 years ago, i traveled from Bellevue to Small Fryes. I was pregnant with my daughter and was particular about what I ate. I had morning sickness and pretty much could only eat one meal a day. So, I looked forward to that one meal. I really didn't want burger, fries and a milkshake. But, had heard good things about this place and was here for work. Upon entering, found it was a small space. You couldn't eat inside. A minuscule shack was the entire restaurant. However, they offered two picnic tables set outside. Service on ordering was slow. Waited at my picnic table for 20 minutes.The food was surprisingly good. Hamburger cooked to order, with lots of fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Crispy French fries and a great creamy milkshake. Like homemade food. Had to come to Snoqualmie this week and decided to stop here for nostalgia sake. My daughter now has an almost two year old daughter herself. Sadly, found the food and service quality has drastically dropped. Hamburger was very thin, with only sauce. Fries were undercooked and quite greasy. Milkshake was mostly melted and thin. Employees were doing the bare minimal to cook and serve food. They screwed up a great history, in both food and service quality for this place. It was good in the past. This place is phenomenal! We've driven past this little mom and pop burger stand so many times and well today we stopped and we couldn't have been happier. They actually have a drive thru. We parked and went in to order, they were so friendly. The giant menu board is very clear and a very fun menu of traditional burgers and hot dogs! We ordered a double cheeseburger meal which included medium fries and medium drink. The fries were absolutely delicious, so crispy and they have some sort of coating on them that make them taste so good along with seasoning salt. The burger was a classic with lettuce ,tomato , onion , ketchup. If you're ever passing through Falls City, Wa you must give it a try! Oh and they do live up to there motto! As we waited for our food we noticed the soda machine looks like it had rarely ever been cleaned. So creamy and delicious and don't get stuck in the straw. They are an amazing treat in the summer (or whenever). Unlike McDonald's, their fries are always piping hot and their burgers and fresh. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but some friends wanted a burger and picked this place out of the rest. We walked in at about 1:30pm and there was no one in line but several people waiting for food (I think 3 orders ahead of ours). We had a group of 8 and we couldn't all fit inside to order. Not a big deal, just a little place (they do have a drive through). There's no seating inside but there are some sort of standing tables you can max out on your meal at! I only ordered fries but glad I did. Their fries are sooo good. They remind me of Arby's curly fries but they aren't curly. They are just super crispy and delicious. The burgers looked good but I didn't have one. No one really said much about their burger so I'm not sure how they were but they did have a special for 3 value burgers for $7. One friend got a chocolate milkshake which he said was good but not worth the wait. The wait... we waited 45 minutes to get our food which all came out at about the same time except the milkshake. When my friends order came up they told my friend they gave his shake to someone else in our group which was not true. After having to argue that he never got his shake and no one else in our group did either they made him a new one but it took another 5-10 minutes before he got it so he had to wait while his food got cold.
