I specifically came here for the lumpia but they no longer exist here. I wish they would bring them back! I will continue to push for them to return! I'm waiting for my OG double burger with no cheese and only raw onions l. My son Jordan is getting the fatty melt on Texas toast. French fries with mango habanero sauce on the side. In replacement of the no Lumpia I chose the Fried Pickles. They are still the same ownership so I will have to make a visit to their other location soon") I am not going to compare their burgers and just go with their own style and take. Fried pickles came out first and it was breaded and as I bite into it the pickle pulls away from the fried breading. It it well seasoned though ")! Waiting on our burgers for 30 minutes. They finally bring them to us. So the burger patties are like crumbled into the burger bun and doesn't hold up as well. There is a slight char going and patty is a little dry. I was not expecting the raw onions to just be cube cut and not round slices either. I don't know how how I feel yet but my son likes his Fatty Texas Toast Patty with the aoli sauce. Order take out over the phone. Two OG double burgers, one fries, one Homemade potato chips. Paid $39.15. Gave Mya a Fifty. She googled to see how much change I should receive back. She gave me $12.00 back. Should have received $10.85. I told them this was not right. The bun on my burger was soggy I had to put my burger on a plate and eat it with a fork. The chips were better than the fries that Mya did not but in the bag. But they were so overly seasoned that you could not eat them. They went straight to the trash. read more

I was very very very very impressed with this spot! Some of the most flavorful burgers I have ever had. Me and my buddies were hanging out the ye olde plank inn in imperial beach. Connected to the bar was a burger spot. Me and my friends had plans to go eat somewhere after we got done with the bar and decided to eat here. I got the Scotty burger and made it a double and it was amazing ! My friend got the loaded fries and he loved them. I had a bite and they were the real deal. My buddy got the glIZZY AND LOVED IT. I loved my burger so much I got the Scotty too hottie burger and made that a double also. If you like spicy than you got to get that item. Next time I come here ima do a triple ! read more

Turns out there is a new location down the street from the one at Ye Ole Plank. They had a soft opening last week which was packed! The burger and fries were amazing and Laura, the bartender, was awesome. She was spot on with her recommendations and was a delight to get to know. Will definitely be back. read more

My first time trying Scotty Burgers inside Ye Olde Plank Inn. I ordered loaded fries and they are the best in town!!! Fries were cooked until crispy and deep golden brown, so they held up to the toppings. Loaded with crumbled burger patty, grilled onions and peppers, cheese and aioli topping. Delicious!!!!!! Excellent service (and food ) today at Scotty's. To get here you have to go through the plank and then go into the patio outside the doors. There's a cute sign and a simple (quickly ) menu with reasonable prices. Ordered a Scotty burger, bacon scotty a spicy Scotty, fries, the Glizzy and a loaded fries. All three burgers were delicious and the fries were so crispy! The Glizzy is a take on TJ Dogs WHICH I LOVE!!! The fellows working the front explained all the menu and I will definitely be in for breakfast this weekend! A very very welcomed addition to IB. read more

Nom nom nom!!! I can't eat burgers anywhere else now, they upset my stomach. I don't know where this man is getting his fries, but they are delicious and if you dip them in the spicy ranch, they're just plain addictive. By the way, they have handmade lumpia, regular and jalapeno, by someone who knows what the hell they're doing. My boyfriend is literally obsessed. And you read the reviews and you go to the place and you think 'yeah this is a good burger, but I've had some that are better'. Not here my friends - it doesn't get any better. The crazy thing is, this burger is pretty basic. Great patties, seasoned well, good cheese, onions, aioli.... And then you get to the bun. The beautifully soft bun that is warm throughout and perfectly - perfection, there is no other word - this bun is perfectly flat-top grilled to give you a crunch of awesomeness after you get through the soft warm top and before you encounter the wonder of the burger itself. They ran out of pizzas which the cooks were mad about; they said the owner didn't buy enough pizza from Costco. Also, they don't have any options for vegetarians except for fries which were very soggy and cold when I got them. It was kind of a mad house because they were so busy and ran out of everything to cook. It would be better if it was stocked up and had an option for vegetarians. read more
