We had a great steak dinner here on Wednesday night. We saw advertisement on Facebook reels and decided to try it out. Very pleased with the dinner and service. The place was not busy at all yet very noisy due to karaoke going on. We had the rib eye steak, baked potato and fresh asparagus. $21.99. Not a bad price for a steak dinner. We came here on Father's Day, thinking there would definitely be some kind of crowd.... nopes. First of all, can I just say that they have all the signs saying steaks and seafood and the building and acreage are super enticing! It is such a shame, though. We walked in- there was live music and six people there. All the signs in this place indicate a family friendly restaurant with a bar area. This is not the case. We walked into seeing two very drunk adults and a woman trying to get with the guitarist on the stage. Fun. In addition, the server who was also the bartender saw us walk in and did not even greet us. In fact, she ignored us for 15 minutes so we decided to get up and leave. On our way out, she decided to come out from behind the bar and act like she was grabbing the menus to greet us and sit us down . Girl, please. We had a really poor experience. The service was awful and the food was honestly inedible. When we brought it up to the manager, they refused to take responsibility or refund the incorrect dish, claiming it had been half eaten. Been coming here for almost a year and they are the best! Delicious food, friendly staff and either the manager or owners have immediately taken care of any issues we happen to experience. Family friendly-we go up there all the time with our autistic son and they are very accommodating. From live music to Karaoke, Bingo night, Casino night-so much fun to be had every week and weekend. Delicious food every day they're open. My favorites are Wednesday steak nights and the chicken sandwich and fried zucchini. We even celebrated our birthday up there and got to wear a special hat and had the restaurant sing us happy birthday. Love this place. read more

Seasoning and fried crispy-ness was chef's kiss. Drink was a bottled Angry Orchard. AMBIANCE: low key, chill, top gun bar vibes meets outdoors (minus the top gun cast and the piano.) I keep trying this place because I feel that it has so much potential. We went on Sunday because of brunch and because Steel Country(awesome band) was scheduled to play. Service by Aspen and some of the other staff was better than what we have experienced in the past...Until they got busy. I think they still did a great job. And I understand that these are challenging times for all businesses due to staff shortages. The Brunch Bloody Mary($5) was delicious and so were the Brunch mimosas($2). I was surprisingly surprised. Hubby ordered chicken and waffles. He said it was okay. It sadly only came with two chicken fingers. I ordered the steak and eggs. All came on one plate. My steak medium(perfect) and eggs over medium(not the case). It came with hash browns(well done as requested) and Texas toast. The eggs were served on top of the hash browns and my toast was soggy on edges due to being served on same plate. Would have been perfect if served on two plates. The hash browns were cooked well done as requested. The eggs were over medium/hard. The steak was perfect! We also ordered a side of fries...those are always good there. We got a bucket of beer, it came with 5 beers. The bucket was $30. Ouch! We get buckets of beer pretty much everywhere we got and gotta say that the most we have paid is $25 and thEy come with 6 beers. $6 a beer...Again Ouch! There was a couple that came in before it got busy. They ordered 8-10 lbs of crawfish(I believe each styrofoam container contains 1lb). I noticed they finished one container each and they stopped. I walked over and asked them how the crawfish was and they said not good. They walked away and left probably about 8 boxes untouched on the table. Glad I did not ordered crawfish. If you label yourself to be "tribute" band, you should do better to actually sound like the the target band. This RUSH tribute band was clearly musically talented but the vocals sucked. I'm super city, so this isn't a place I'd normally go to, but it's down the street from my job and it was pretty cool. It's on a country road, sitting on a pretty large piece of property, and the bartenders are very friendly and attentive. Food and drinks aren't cheap, and they have entry fees on nights they have events or concerts. Wouldn't call it a neighborhood bar, but more like a bar/grill that can look like a club sometimes lol. This was my second visit to Scotty's. I went with a grooup of friends to listen to Nightbird perform and it was well worth the ticket price. However that was where the pleasurable part ends. Knowing full well that it would be a busy night you would think they would have aa fully staffed kitchen. That was not the story however. My table placed several order for appetizers aas well as food. The turn around time for the appetizers was more than an hour, the food at least an hour and a half. Not only was the food slow to arrive, the portions were utterly ridiculous, to put it mildly. To clarify this, one of my group ordered fried pickles and cheesesticks. Upon getting their order the quantities were ridiculous. The fried pickles came with 6 pieces at a cost of $12.99. The cheesesticks came with 5 pieces at a cost of $12.99 as well. Now the food that was ordered was exceptional. I ended up ordering food as well. After looking the menu over I decided on the chicken strips of which there was a choice of 3 or 6. The decision was made to order the 6 piece at a cost of $13.99. However when the order was placed it was learned the 6 piece was not available and the menu had changed. Originally the 3 piece was listed at $9.99, Seems that was not the case for this night in particular. In fact everything was incorrectly priced. Drink prices were outrageous as well. A 6oz margarita was $12.99, beer $5.00 ( pretty normal ) a 6oz jack and coke was $8.00. We have plans to return one more time to see another group that caters to our age bracket. However we have all decided to eat elsewhere before we go to the show. We did discuss among my party that we should have ordered several pizzas, with which we could have sold slices for a decent profit as well as feed patrons faster and less costly. The venue itself is very nice. It's clean and well maintained. Not the type of establishment where they sweep up the eyeballs at closing. read more

The ONLY table between 5:30 and 7:30 on a Saturday night. That should have been the first clue. No bread service, mediocre steaks and horrible, cold sides. Photos of "creamed spinach" and ribeye steak. Apparently creamed means pouring a vat of cream in some spinach, and the ribeye went to our furry member of the family. The filets, not terrible. Total cost over $300, admittedly $80 of that was a room temp bottle of wine. Huge wine cooler but our bottle came off the shelf. The manager, tried to give some feedback, and immediately got attitude and then yelled at. She literally yelled across the restaurant at us. I hadn't visited the OTP for several years because it always seemed to be closed when it was advertised as open. The actual venue is really cool being outside under the trees and set up pretty well. Anyway, we decided to get tickets to see Pat Green last night and we're really excited to see some live music after a long pandemic hiatus. We arrived only to be greeted at a table by a battle axe of a women, someone later told me it was the owner, she was rude, disrespectful, and just plain unwelcoming. They had a printed sheet of names of people that bought tickets. So you arrive and they get your name, check you off a list and hand you wrist bands. In 2021 this is the best system they could muster to process a 1000 people? Lack of know how and management for sure. Anyway, we made it in after standing in line.... The opening band, The Earl Sanders Jr. Band, was awesome, actually all the music was great. So five stars to all the musicians. That was the only saving grace for this debacle disguised as a concert. There were 2 bars TWO! The lines were over an hour long. My friend and I waited for roughly an hour and a half to get a couple of buckets of beers and water for our group of 4. AN HOUR and a HALF! I mean, if you were going to host a crowd of that size, and try and maximize sales why in the world would you bottleneck your beverage sales? Not only does it make me not want to return for any future events, it hurts their ability to make money. That's just plain stupidity. I could hear conversations as well as people commenting directly about how disorganized this event was. I suspect the old battle axe nurse ratchet that we encountered at the gate is indeed the owner/manger, and if she treats her customers like she treated us...I can only imagine how badly she treats her staff. I'd be willing to bet someone had warned them that the set up was ill prepared and going to fail. Speaking of the bar staff, they were friendly even though they were under pressure and had no chance to succeed from the starting gun. NEVER again will I buy tickets to this establishment no chance. The Wildcatter Saloon is WAY better and enjoyable. Save your cash, I don't care if George Straight is playing at OTP... stay at home, grab a cold frosty, and put some music in the ole Bluetooth technology....It is 2021 after all. read more

### REVIEW IS FOR STEAKHOUSE ### Tried the recently opened Scotty's Steakhouse, a spin-off of Scotty's Saloon at OTP. To get to the "restaurant" you have to walk through the regular bar/ outdoor patio area, which is super-weird for such an expensive destination. Once you're inside, you see that it's a beautifully decorated 50x60 (or so) sq. ft. spot, with 8-10 tables. The waitress, Savanna, was awesome but sadly, that's where the awesomeness stopped. As an appetizer we ordered $8 deviled eggs. They were so-so. Plain eggs with paprika on top. Nothing special. As part of our main course, I ordered a $56 dollar strip steak with a $9 dollar 4 "Jumbo" shrimp add-on. Wife ordered salmon and our 13 year old son ordered a $19 dollar burger. We also ordered the $14 dollar family Mac-n-cheese and the family spinach. When my steak arrived, I first noticed the shrimp were far from jumbo. And, they weren't a pretty orange shade, but instead some ill-cooked seafood. Once I tasted them, they were bland, charred, and super-short of delicious. My $56 dollar steak also tasted bland. The meat was tough and chewy at times. There were pockets of salt and pepper, but not even throughout the steak. It was cooked medium-rare like I ordered it, but the quality was more "choice" than "prime." The Mac-n-cheese was mildly-tasty, but again, nothing that belongs in an upscale restaurant, which is what this place is trying to pass itself as. It had a cream cheese tang to it, with a few breadcrumbs on top, My wife's salmon was "very good" according to her, but it wasn't enough to make up for everything else. The $19 dollar burger was overly seasoned according to my son, so, he left a portion of it behind. The fries were pretty good, but they're still fries. Total bill for 2 adults 1 kid, $169.00 (tip not included). Way too much for food cooked in the sane exact kitchen (and staff) that cools cheap bar food. Do yourself a favor and go to Perry's or Fogo de Chao instead. read more

Another disappointment here at Scotty Saloon for Pat Green. Paid for a table to be Told that our table is over there. With a general point to an area with no tables. Waited more than an hour in the beer line. To be told that they are out of buckets so we were allowed to bear hug 6 beers but not allowed to use an empty bow to carry them. They were not prepared for the size of the crowd. However next time Pat Green is at the OTP I know 10 people that will not endure this level of incompetence. Pat Green put on a good show. We visited yesterday during their St. Patty Day Dueling Pianos. Seems like there was only 2 people to wait on all the tables. There was about 5 food runners but only 2 people to put orders in. We ordered a burger basket & chicken tender basket & 3 drinks. It took over 30 mins to get our food & when it came it was cold. Their service & food needs a lot of improvement. It's a great place for entertainment, but I advise you to come after you've already eaten and had drinks unless you like to wait 30-1hr for another beer. We ended up leaving & going elsewhere even though we really wanted to watch the dueling pianos. read more

Food was pretty good! Had the chicken and waffles, but we waited over 1 hour, yes, 1 hour to get an $18 loaded Bloody Mary! They kept telling us it was coming out, but again, didn't come out until an hour after we ordered it, and 2 of us had already gotten our food and ate before the Bloody Mary got to the table. There might have been 16 other patrons there, so they weren't crowded. And even though they were training new staff, that still doesn't make up for waiting over an hour for the loaded Bloody Mary! Plus, it wasn't worth the $18! Unfortunately, we won't be going back. Oh yeah, I forgot! Came for crawfish festival. Bugs were cold, overcooked and gummy, tiny field runs. So definitely not worth the price or drive. We also waited over an hour for pork tacos (pork which is already cooked) so thoroughly disappointed in the food. Staff was unfriendly even though everyone was civil about food inquiries. My family went here for brunch on February 26th! The service was horrible! The food was good I hear! They got my order totally wrong and we had been here waiting for almost 2 hours (party of 7) We got their at noon! Needless to say I didn't eat what they brought me it had mayonnaise on it and I can't stand mayonnaise! I did not want to wait any longer. So we paid our bill and finally left about 3ish! I get my credit card bill and they over charged me $45.00. So I called in March 7th. She was super nice and said she'd take care of it! She told me to text her a picture of my receipt which I did, and I assumed her preferred method of communication was text! We communicated via text multiple days and then this last week -- no response! I text several times in the last week and she didn't respond at all until today after my text where I told her I was disappointed at their lack of professionalism!
