We stayed for three nights at SCP Depoe Bay and had a fabulous time. It feels like you are staying with a friend and not at a hotel and is an incredibly welcoming environment. They allow dogs and offer dog bowls and beds for your furry best friend. The room is simple but so lovely! There is an electric fireplace under the TV and a hammock like chair which was nice to read it. But the best part is the patio overlooking the world's smallest harbor. Beautiful, and peaceful! They offer tea, water, coffee and a small breakfast downstairs in the common area. There are plenty of games you can use and a library you can borrow from. The views are beautiful, the vibes are immaculate, and we would love to come back again! read more

Quiet. Private. That's what I was looking for on this trip and that's what I found at SCP Depoe Bay. This trip was meant for solitude, reflection, and a reset. The room had no TV, on purpose and that was just fine. My room overlooked the bay, had a small balcony and the weather was nice enough when I arrived that I took full advantage of the view. It overlooked the Depoe Bay harbor. Each night I used the lobby/lounge area for some peaceful journaling. The morning breakfast option only included fruit, granola (with milk - dairy or almond), and coffee or tea. The lobby has a microwave, dishes, bowls, and silverware available and a small selection of drinks for purchase on the honor system. Great little boutique hotel. Found it on Hotel Tonight while driving through Lincoln City. We got there late, so had to ring the bell. Someone was out quickly to greet us and got us checked in. Rooms were updated and clean. Nice views of the bay. In the morning there was a light breakfast and coffee in their lounge area which was very comfortable. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

How to put into words what's so special about this place? I like harbors, and here there's one right outside. I love a roaring ocean, and here there's one a five-minute walk away, so shockingly beautiful and rough that you'll want to become a landscape painter. The room itself was large and immaculate, with a fireplace, but best of all were the common spaces and the people behind the front desk, always hospitable but never subservient, warm but not in a fake way. I wanted to hold a birthday party here or a wedding. They also honored my ESA letter, making me and my dog feel incredibly welcome, had EV charging for me, the perfect free breakfast, hammocks, and even a snazzy workout room. read more

What a find! Overlooking the tiny coastal town of Depoe Bay (which boasts of being the world's smallest harbor), this hotel offers a high-end experience for a very reasonable cost. We were greeted by a very friendly desk clerk who showed us the fitness center (Peloton bike and yoga equipment!) and provided our dog with a goodie and her own comfy bed. Our room overlooked a small marina, with a walkout patio and a private seating area. The room decor was so cozy and homey - loved the hanging chair! A real highlight is that the rooms are either on the basement level, or on the 2nd floor- the reception, fitness room, and dining room are on the floor in between those levels- so no foot noise from overhead guests! It is truly very peaceful. In the morning, they offer freshly made granola along with tea and coffee! This hotel prides itself on being eco-friendly and organic. It is truly a restorative place, with so many thoughtful touches. I loved it and will definitely seek them out if I am in the area again. read more

Tucked in the bay, you can hear the sounds of the birds and watch the boats coming and going... Centrally located and easy to get to multiple other coastal towns. Nice spot in Depoe bay! It's kinda hidden and I love it. Right next to the bay it's an adorable little spot. I love that I could do a quick load of laundry during my stay and that most rooms have an awesome view. Very easy walking distance to restaurants right up the street. Also less than five minute walk to whale watching and fishing tours. read more

I don't give 5 star reviews very often but this boutique hotel was the perfect place to stay. It has a fresh, cool vibe with thoughtful touches throughout. Comfortable bed, beautiful view of the harbor, away from the highway so it's quiet. A light breakfast and very good coffee is included with your room. The only criticism I have is that there's no air conditioning. It was cooler temperatures when we stayed so we opened the sliding door and had a cool breeze, but if it had been too warm outside the room would have been uncomfortably hot. But all in all SCP was one of the nicest stays we've had in a long time. read more

scheduled a weekend away from kids. called to confirm mid week. no one mentioned there is a late check in policy after 6 pm!!? given a key code that didn't work and no ETA on when someone could let us into the room. most unromantic start of a weekend stuck in a hall outside our room. told by staff from a distant hotel it was a battery issue and couldn't offer any time frame of when someone would arrive to help. buyer beware. Update. Regular staff in the morning very apologetic and tried their best to make up for the bad night prior. read more

Probably the most welcoming front desk and common area. Rooms are clean , spacious and has a great view of the harbor. Beds are a little stiff but not bothersome. Coffee and granola is at 8a, tea and water 24/7. read more

The rooms are impeccably clean with well-thought-out amenities. The dining area is comfortable; the food offerings are fresh, healthy, and tasty. Being able to drink that hot, fresh, high-quality coffee from the balcony while enjoying my PB&J toast (that I still dream about) was the perfect restart of my vacation. None of this compares to the service... Alana, the manager, and her precious dogs were welcoming and made us feel at home after leaving our last hotel due to terrible service. The sense of community in that hotel is forefront and amazing. This hotel is super family and pet-friendly. Alana at the SCP Depoe Bay made all of our problems go away, and we were immediately able to enjoy our vacation to see my family in the area. I wish there were SCP hotels EVERYWHERE because it is the only hotel that has made us truly happy and welcomed. read more

Loved this hotel! It has such a cute vibe to it and has a lot of amenities - for example there is a peloton bike in fitness area as well as yoga mats. It is extremely dog friendly. This is the best hotel you will find in the entire Oregon Coast! My husband and myself traveled the entire Oregon Coast in one week and we end up staying every night in different hotels. This one definitely stands out and I would give it 10 stars if I could. Once you arrive you will be greeted by few adorable and very friendly dogs. The staff at the hotel is beyond helpful. The lady at the reception personally showed us accommodations and the room and gave us recommendations for local restaurants. Hotel has a bar/ food section with good HEALTHY menu. We tried smoothie bowls and they were awesome! Coffee and cereal in the morning is great too! The design and and the feel of the hotel is MODERN in a very good way and you would want to hang out there all day. Everything is clean and made to be useful. The view is fantastic- the hotel is located right on harbor ( the smallest harbor in the world!) One thing I would look into is the noise from the chimney. Although we did stay in the hotel when winds were very high, it would be great improvement for the guests. Last but not least, SCP plants a tree for each customer's visit!! And 5% of income goes to charity. They really focus on sustainability!!! You will recognize that when you stay there. read more

What can I say, this hotel is design so so cool I feel hip just staying in this place! High design well placed furniture that is not just pleasing to look at but practical and well thought out as well. I feel like some Finnish decorator went thru this place like a fine tooth comb. The patio backs up to a harbor and not just a harbor but "The worlds smallest Harbor". This place smells and feels brand freaking new! Just stayed in this lovely hotel. The location was perfect for us. The room and common areas are spotless. Although we weren't traveling with our dog, there are many dog-friendly amenities provided. The reason I left off a star was the fact that the only breakfast offering was instant oatmeal. Other dishes mentioned by previous reviewers were nowhere to be seen. (Most likely not covid-related as the reviews were posted during the pandemic) Smoothie bowls??? Would have loved to find those!!! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the patios have a beautiful view of the tiny harbor. Will stay again, but don't count on the 'provided' breakfast. read more

I had to evacuate do to fire near my home. SCP is fantastic! Everyone is so very friendly and helpful. I love the very well mannered dogs. They are so sweet. I had my two cats and they were welcome. I'm disabled, and they were extremely helpful. I love it here. They have gone above and beyond helping the evacuees, even providing free dinners! I will miss it when I return home. I hope other come and visit her. They have a small restaurant available serving very healthy food that tastes wonderful. You will love staying here. It deserves at least 10 stars! read more

Loved our weekend visit to Depoe Bay. This hotel is a 5-minute walk from the main boardwalk, the City Park, The Sea Hag restaurant (personal favorite) and one of the best views of the Oregon Coast. It overlooks the harbor, and deep sea fishing, whale watching boats are just across the parking lot. Rooms were clean, fresh and contemporary. The Inn Keeper could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely return over and over again. read more
