Having a mother daughter day and kicked it off here. The vibe was everything. We were welcomed in and the service was great. We both ordered bacon breakfast burritos with chipotle crema. I chose to get a medium Nightmare Fuel. This was the perfect level of barely sweet for me. It consisted of cold brew and espresso over ice with salted caramel cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Delish! My daughter chose a medium iced chai. We found a table and took in the ambiance. I wish this was closer to home, I would definitely come here more. Soon we were enjoying our burritos and beverages. Get the crema for with a burrito. It was an excellent accompaniment. Hands down, the coolest cafe I've ever been to!!! When you walk in you will immediately be transported into a cozy horror and alternative themed lair beyond your wildest dreams. The staff are all incredibly kind and patient. I didn't feel rushed when ordering, and the person working the register walked me through the menu with kindness and ease. The drinks are incredibly unique and taste WONDERFUL!! Not too heavy but not too light, a perfect balance of cream, milk/coffeee/tea, and flavorings! The popcorn is also a MUST if you choose to visit. I've never quite felt satisfied with any other popcorn after visiting Scr3am and Sugar. Its rich buttery taste and savory saltiness are absolutely perfect and the epitome of pristine popcorn craftsmanship! Lastly, one thing that really stands out to me is how affordable this place is! Really hard narrowing down which coffee to choose but ultimately ended up with the Samoa Kooky Latte, an iced sea salt caramel cookie latte with coconut cold foam and chocolate drizzle - I mean COME ON that is delicious! The horror sprinkled into the descriptions alone are fantastic as well. Cozy seats for a small little shop and a few tables as well. They also have burritos and a pastry window as well with a few options. I think the popcorn on the menu is pretty creative, leaning into the "horror movie" vibe of the place. How did I not know of the existence of Scr3am & Sugar Coffee before? I heard of this Halloween-themed coffee shop via social media and assumed it was a seasonal pop-up, but apparently they've already been around for two years!! This is a very fun and imaginative place, decked out in horror film memorabilia and attached to Horrid, a horror shop. The coffee shop offers drinks with witty horror-themed names like "Basic Witch" and "Maple Myers cold brew." The baristas were so cool and kind too. They even have gluten free bakery goodies! Loved this place so much, I had to come back! Being a huge fan of the horror genre, I felt very at home here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. With so many unique drinks to try, I went with the Turmeric - Ginger Latté on ice. It was sweetened just a little bit with honey and it was Gory Good! This drink was so Sinful that I had to come back on another day to enjoy a second one. The decor was so creepy and ghoulish and all your favorite characters were lurking about. The brick building adds to the ambiance and the vibe was wicked. The drink menu features many drinks and a couple are horror named such as Nightmare Fuel, Somthin' Wicked, Cinnabite Latté, and Hiya, Georgie. I wish I lived nearby so I could try them all. The staff are so helpful and ready to customize your drink your way. Attached is a horror theme gift shop to browse. A new family favorite! The ambiance is wonderful for fans of horror and all things spooky. Horror themed coloring books, bathroom decked out in scenes from horror movies and always a spooky movie playing, it's a great vibe! The seasonal drinks are our favorite to try and are updated frequently. The baristas are always friendly and willing to offer suggestions for drinks. We only go about once a month because it's out of the way, but this would surely be a regular stop for us if we were closer. The breakfast burritos are also great! The space itself is a tad small, but every time we have been we haven't had issues getting a spot to sit. Also love browsing the Horrid horror shop next door before we leave. read more

We got the maneater, (F 13th special) mama's boy, bacon breakfast burrito, and veggie breakfast burrito. Everything we got was very delicious and was such a delightful treat. Highly recommend this coffee shop. The parking is very limited but there are a plenty of neighborhoods street parking nearby. Loved my first visit to Scr3am & Sugar- from the awesome atmosphere to the horror movies playing and the fun drinks it was a great first visit. I love all the horror themed drinks coffee and otherwise- it was a wrench picking just 1 to try. Staff was helpful without being all up in your face. I ended up going with the Glenda Lemonade as I definitely didn't need any more caffeine today and it was great. Not too sweet or sour- beautifully balanced. Cannot wait to go back and try one of the coffee drinks as there were some very interesting combinations! I didn't get to go to the curiosities shop next door sadly as I was short on time, but I'm looking forward to checking that out next time as well. Will definitely be back for more! read more

What a fun little coffee shop for horror fans! We went here on Halloween which I assume is probably the busiest day of the year, and there were two people in front of us in line, but by the time we were leaving the line was constantly out the door. We got the Georgie and the Ube latte (I can't remember what it was called), but they were both good, however the Georgie was definitely the winner! read more

We loved our stop at Scr3am and sugar coffee! The service was great. They even offered to warm our scone and gave a thoughtful recommendation on whether to get my drink hot or iced. The drinks were super unique and had such fun, creative names. The decor was funky and full of cool little details, especially the horror-themed bookshelf inside. The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but totally worth the drive. I'm excited to come back in the spring or summer (maybe when it's a little less spooky season-y) and try more drinks! With a welcoming staff that is eager to create a drink you will love, I am always greeted with warmth & I stay to enjoy my coffee surrounded by all of the horror / goth goodies! I've been here twice within two weeks and ordered the Orlok's Obsession both times. I'm a big cold brew lover and this drink delivers. It has all of the beautiful floral notes that you could hope for with the lavender & the cold cream just makes it perfect. You can customize any drinks and some of the themed drinks (I tried my friends) can come in a little sweet for my taste, so adjust according to your taste. Scr3am and Sugar is a must stop for any horror fans! The coffee shop is attached to the horrid gift shop, so I recommend grabbing a coffee and browsing the shop. They have a lot of super yummy flavored drinks and matcha teas, most of which are themed after horror movies/shows. I ordered a Tiffany Valentine which is a raspberry mocha based on Bride of Chucky with edible PINK GLITTER!! My friends got an Orlok's Obsession cold brew (lavender) and Perfect Pair latte (cherry pie with graham cracker crumbs). Everything was really tasty and def fun to drink! The fun flavored drinks are sweet but they also have regular coffee and sweetness level can be adjusted. In addition to coffee, they have matcha, tea, and cocoa. They have alternative milk as well. They also have a few snacks such as baked goods and homemade flavored popcorn to much on, which looked great! The inside is cozy with velvet couches and chairs. Overall a cute place! Scr3am & Sugar coffee shop is a pretty dope spot. I will say that it's pretty hard to find parking in the area if you come on one of their sinister Saturday shopping events. I happen to go when they had bands playing in the back and a whole little market set up so that was hard to find parking for a larger truck. The people taking my order were really patient and told me a little bit about the menu because I've never been it was my first time I just wanted a non cider drink so I got the shark bite drink. They made it with almond milk instead of dairy cream for me. It was reasonable. It was around $4.75. They also had some popcorn mix snacks they make . There was something about popcorn and coffee wafting in the air that was so comforting. There are tables and lush seats to sit, but I took my drink next-door to the Horror themed store that was attached to the coffee shop. The store is very welcoming to everybody from all walks alive to all backgrounds you're welcomed in. It's a safe space. The sinister Saturday market area in the back had a lot of little vendors set up. It was so cool to see everybody selling their jewelry, their knickknacks their clothing, their stationary, all alternative things that I happen to be looking for for people that I know. It was so creative and so unique they're gonna find it when they have these marketplace fair set up. For those into this type of genre, it is definitely recommended by me. read more

I have been here a few times now and its becoming one of my favorite spots. Having a horror-themed coffee shop is 100% up my alley. The location can be tricky, especially with all the current construction, but once you know where it is, it's not difficult to find. There's a few spots to park out front and then there's always street parking on S. Broadway. Inside is very cozy, with kitschy horror decor and horror movies playing. I love the variety in the drinks, they have some unique flavors and I love what they do for their seasonal/themed drinks. They also use a local coffee brand which is a plus. Staff is friendly and its generally pretty chill in there, so not a bad place to work or study. It's connected to Horrid, the horror shop, so it's fun to grab a drink and then go next door to browse around. This is quickly becoming a fixture in my time around this part of Denver. read more

Staff is incredibly rude and unwelcoming. My family and I felt immediately turned off and rushed with ordering our drinks. Then I witnessed the staff gang up on a very nice gentleman who is a veteran all because he was wearing his service uniform. Every member of the staff verbally attacked this poor man and told him to leave. The man did nothing wrong and was only engaging in friendly conversation with some other guests. This all happened in front of the man's children and many other children and families. The awful staff paid no attention to the fact that the man had a service animal that specified that the man suffers from PTSD. I've never witnessed such disgusting behavior and treatment. I will never return and will make sure I let everyone know not to visit. Do not support this establishment. read more

I ordered "Somethin' Wicked" and added salted caramel foam - Personal preference I enjoy a darker stronger espresso roast but the way the drink was made was well balanced, light in flavor, and easy to adjust the sweetness to your liking. The barista was a few minutes late opening up shop and I didn't mind the wait, bc that didn't stop her from giving excellent customer service, it was quick and friendly so kudos to her! This is my favorite place to go & relax for a little while. I love that everywhere you turn, the decor and general ambiance is horror themed. The coffee is themed after different horror movies & they also have a seasonal rotating menu.
