Chile Verde Burrito with Scramble Hash
Michael V.

Not super busy for a Sunday brunch, which is great news for people like me that wake up a bit later haha. You order at a counter up front and then pick a table to sit at afterwards. They have a whole mini bar area in the middle that has a bunch of hot sauces and other condiments to choose from which is convenient. I ordered the Chili Verde Burrito and upgraded my hash to the Scramble Hash (very good decision). The burrito was huge, and that green sauce was incredible. It didn't have as much flavor as I'd have hoped, but nothing a little Cholula can't fix. The Maple Cinnamon Latte was pretty tasty as well, nothing fancy. My brother got the Chicago Brizza (Breakfast pizza) and it was my favorite of the morning. They use hollandaise sauce as pizza sauce and it just works perfectly, highly recommend. He also said their iced tea was good too. I will be back to try two or three more items that look interesting, but until then, I do recommend you guys try this place out.

Today I tried lunch instead of breakfast. And Kristina put on a Hit. The food was fresh. It was hot and taste. Amazing as always!

First timer a friend of mine here the resort told me about scramble that they went up on seventh Avenue area said it was delicious. Checked out the menu. I ordered the Chicago, which is a breakfast pizza. It was delicious. It said it fed two people and that's pretty much what it would be. I bought half of it all my friend ordered the meat lovers omelette hashbrowns toast said it was delicious. Very cool restaurant someplace you wouldn't mind sitting around for a while ambience top-notch people are very friendly. Coffee was delicious. Fountain drinks check it out. You'll love it.

Vegan Soyrizo Burrito

In the Tempe area on Thursday, and needed to get some vegan breakfast. I searched Yelp for Vegan, and came up with a couple places; nothing exciting. Then I searched "vegan breakfast burrito" and boom, here's Scramble! I looked up the Menu and they actually have a few Vegan options! I called ahead to confirm. They offer a breakfast burrito, scramble, and French toast (Just Egg substitute for $2) or tofu. They do have soyrizo, but no other "vegan meats" or vegan cheese. Pricing is fair at $14.89 a plate, and the portions are good! I usually eat a whole burrito, and I only ate 1/2 with hashbrowns. The ambiance was calm and relaxed with a focus on local resources, and good service. Christina was our server and she went above and beyond our expectations! She took our order at the counter, brought the food to our table, and even offered ketchup and jelly (which we saw afterward was in the self serve area. This place has plenty of parking, and clean restrooms. I love that they offer soy milk for your coffee!

Well, we knew this place was close by (and The Porch is 2 doors up whichjj no is actually where we had planned to go) but had never been to Scramble so decide to try it. Walked in to a multi-board McDonalds-style menu, as your order everything before you're seated. Quite a few of the usual suspects for breakfast options. Place was noisy as lots of glass, high ceilings and loud groups - to be expected I would guess. Sat down and had coffee (which was pretty good - they offered both Guatemalan and Brazilian coffee, as well as a decaf - we had the Guatemalan). I had ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict and my wife the 2 egg breakfast with bacon and sourdough toast. The food came out after 10min and it was pretty much cold. My wife's toast was cold and hard - the whipped butter wouldn't even melt on it. Even the hash browns were cold and clumpy. My EB was definitely NOT traditional - there was no sign of any Hollandaise sauce except for what I suspected was a molten cheese whiz sauce dumped over each egg! Not traditional (or even good) at all. The (? English) muffins were so thin they barely held together. Came with nothing else on the plate - not even a garnish to make it look appetizing. Sprinkling a little paprika on top of molten cheese whiz is not a garnish, it's a seasoning, but that was ok as I do like paprika on eggs. Overall, it was disappointing to say the least. If you are going to offer "traditional" breakfasts on the menu, at least make them traditionally!

Brought my mom for Mother's Day. It was nice enough to sit outside.... If only they cleaned the tables and chairs. Dirt, bird droppings pretty much at every table. We cleaned our table off, found 2 decent chairs to switch ours (only because someone else sat on them). A few others came out to sit outside only to go back in, sad to not take pride in your establishment that offers out door seating. Food was priced decent for what you got. Sadly we won't come back

Spicy chorizo, omelette, and pancakes

Where do I begin? The menu looked good with a variety. $84 later and the most generic looking AND tasting food ever comes out. Hash browns are butter soaked with a pepper flavor, the Brizza was very bland, the spicy chorizo omelette tasted like a bunch of basic white girls named Becky made it, and the extremely flavorless tortilla that came with the breakfast burrito was a disappointment. I think giving this place even two stars is being extremely generous. It was described the best as average airport food if you're extremely hungry. The most flavorful thing about this entire meal was the syrup on the pancakes.

If you want to get some work done look for the corner tables they have outlets.

We enjoy Scramble because they have vegan options including smart balance margerine and soy milk for your coffee. They menu is pretty straightforward and it's a fast casual spot for breakfast and lunch. This location on Baseline was perfect for us the Saturday that we went because we had to get out early for a mechanic appointment. You order your food they hand you a number for the table and you can pick your own spot to sit. Both the service at the counter and when our food was brought out was great. If you are looking for a nice spot for brunch then Scramble is a good idea.

Yesterday I visited Scramble, a breakfast & lunch joint (Scramble - Tempe) to try the Gluten friendly Brizza. So, let's talk brizza...we all know that not all GF pizza is created equal. This was pretty darn good. The crust had some body to it instead of just being a cracker with sauce. And there was rosemary added to give it almost a focaccia taste. I ordered the AZ sunrise, which had egg, turkey bacon, hollandaise and avocado. I was so grateful that the avocado was added cold. I was a little nervous when avocado was described on a pizza, cause we all know, hot avocado is just weird. The pizza was a snoog dry and I wanted an added sauce but ultimately both myself and my gluten eating companion devoured it. Now, the ambiance. While we were eating there were multiple dogs on the patio. Including Peaches who was on field trip from Arizona Humane Society. She was treated to a puppy bowl which contains pancakes, peanut butter, banana and is topped with whipped cream. I did not ask if this is offer in GF for our grain free canine companions. Ultimately the guests were social. The team members were warm and inviting and I az a GF person in a gluten world ate a delicious pizza.

Everything is so delish! They gave fresh ingredients and the OJ is sooooo good! The ham and egg sandwich is my fav!

Price and quality did not match…read more I ordered the pastrami sandwich and immediately noticed some cost cutting choices, like butter flavored spray (can we use real butter) US Foods/Chef's Store sourdough bread, (can we use real sourdough bread) and a microwave sitting next to the griddle (which the griddle looks like it has not been cleaned very often). I didn't think much of it at first, but then I watched the owner heat the pastrami in the microwave before assembling the sandwich. I've never had a deli sandwich prepared that way right in front of me, and it was disappointing. She also pulled out a large bag of Taylor Farms shredded lettuce. I asked for no lettuce, and she joked that "people don't want lettuce anymore." Given the recent news surrounding Taylor Farms, that comment didn't exactly inspire confidence. What really surprised me was that the pastrami was placed in a plastic basket and microwaved. Whether or not it's considered safe, seeing food heated that way wasn't very appetizing. Looking around, there also didn't appear to be any real kitchen equipment for preparing hot sandwiches beyond a microwave. A Blackstone griddle or even a quality countertop oven would have inspired much more confidence in the food, especially considering the owner's Yelp responses emphasizing the quality of their sandwiches. From what I experienced, the preparation didn't match those claims. In the end, we ordered just one pastrami sandwich and one beer, and the total came to about $25, with the sandwich alone costing over $17. For that price, I expected much better ingredients and preparation. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match the cost. We tried to be as nice as possible but we left feeling pretty disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there.

I see a lot of uncles, aunts, grandmas and grandpas hanging out on the patio, especially on weekends! It's adorable!! The first time I went on a weekend and the patio was full and bussin'!! Today I stopped by after work and the patio wasn't as full, but there was a good size group gathered outside. The sandwiches here are so damn tasty, and you have to give them credit for making their own bread daily. You can taste the difference and you're never gonna get stale bread here, no sir!! They also offer a wide variety of Asian goods such as Vietnamese coffee you can make at home, spam, pastries, and a variety of chips you can't find in a regular grocery store. The prices for these banh mi sandwiches are very reasonable. One sandwich costs around $9. You can cut it in half and split it into 2 which is a deal! They make mine without jalapeños which is exactly how I like it. They forgot and put some in one of my sandwiches tonight, but no biggie. I just picked them off, lol. The dining room is large, but I have never dined in. I will eventually! The variety is enough for you to stand there a good while and ponder on what you want. My fatty self has ordered 2 sandwiches each time with a drink, and I'll probably keep that going! I also like that they offer smoothies, milk teas and other drinks you can add toppings to. You already know what I got! ;) The employees are always friendly and patient when I have questions. I'm glad I live nearby so if I get a craving, I don't have to drive an hour like I used to have to back home in CA!! I'll be coming here often for sure. The sandwiches are great for lunch ?Just keep them in the fridge)! We'll I guess you know what I'm having tomorrow.. haha!! Go get you some! And give Lee's Sandwiches a whole lotta love!

I had to park behind the building. The line was about 5-7 minutes long. I thought about getting a Bahn mi but have seen recent negative reviews- reviews even that they have failed the health inspection, so I decided against it. I ordered a small banana coffee which came out to ~$7. Although my order number was 10 behind the one that was being called, my drink was ready within a minute or two. I was expecting more of a cold foam but it is straight up banana PUDDING lol. So of course banana pudding on Vietnamese coffee is delicious! It mixed well; no clumps.
