The name says it all. They really know how to make every type of egg any way you want. Even broiled eggs, who can do that, everywhere I have been egg requests are very limited. Not these guys, there really good at nailing special requests. We have eaten here many times and have always had super friendly service and great food. The owners frequently make rounds to check up on guests and alway are genuine and super nice. I really felt like this is a family restaurant. My only complaints are the bacon. Come on, get some thicker bacon !! And oh yeah, bring back the French press coffee! No one in town understands what good coffee is. It would be a really good way to get ahead of the other breakfast restaurants in town. Good coffee = breakfast destination heaven! With so many breakfast places in town this should be a place to try. read more

Disappointing experience. When we walked in, we were not greeted. Ordered the veggie omlette off the light menu and could have thougt it was a cheese omelette. Grease from the cheese filled my plate. There were four tiny pieces of fruit that came as my fruit cup and the pancake was tough and seemed to have stuck to the plate BEFORE syrup was added. A friend ordered the quiche and it was a premade shell with scrambled eggs thrown inside. At no time did the waitress check to see how the food was or even ask when she gave us the bill which was charged incorrectly. Overall, management and cook's skills were defintley questionable. read more

We stopped at Scrambler Marie's on our way to make a drop-off at the airport, so we weren't in a huge hurry, but did have an agenda. Amber, the hostess/server/everything else, it seemed, was wonderful. We ordered. It took awhile to get our food and it was lukewarm when we got it, but that wasn't a big deal since we had someplace to go pretty quickly. The portions were generous and the flavors adequate but not outstanding. I didn't like the coffee. The problem came when we tried to use a coupon which said "expires August 3". Since it was August 3, it was our assumption that the coupon was valid. Oh, no, we were told, it expired on the 2nd. After we asked for the senior discount instead, the cashier gave us the coupon credit. If I had 100 coupons in my purse that all said they expired August 3, I'm pretty sure this is the only place I would have been refused a discount when I tried to use them. I'm very disgruntled over the situation and kind of disappointed in the food, so I probably won't be going back any time soon. read more

I was very disappointed. I placed my order--I ordered the Benny and didn't realize they had more than one kind. (I had given my menu to someone else, we didn't have enough menu's at our table). The waitress didn't ask me to clarify which one. When the food arrived, (MUCH LATER) I knew immediately it wasn't what I ordered, and it wasn't something I could eat (it would upset my stomache). The waitress said they would remake it. She came back awhile later to say it would be out soon. Finally it was brought out. I realized after the second bite that it was not remade; the meat was just removed from the dish and it was smothered in more sauce. This was dishonest-luckily I did not have an allergy to the food, versus it something that gives me indigestion. The manager never came over to the table; they didn't charge me, but that wasn't the issue. I doubt that we will ever go back. read more

Still currently at the place and this is being wrote sitting here at the table. Waited 25 minutes for a table. Fairly decent wait for a Sunday at lunch time. The experience starts right away. We get a seat and a young man takes our drink order and comes back with water. He stated that the waitress will be coming with or drinks. 10 minutes goes by and she shows up and ask us what can she get us to drink. That was strike 1. After getting our drinks we placed our order. Waited just over 35 minutes for the food. When the food arrived my potatoes were cold on the top like they were cooked then set in the cooler. This happened with 5 of the 6 orders. Finally got our food again and it was a little better but still like room temperature. Better than cold. Strike 2. After getting our food at all different times the manager came over to talk to us. She was very rude. Took her 20 minutes to get to our table after the waitress stated she was on her way. When she showed up she was very rude. She said it was impossible that it was cooled down cause it came too is the minute it came out. Why I earth would we make it up. We wanted the same order nothing different. Just wanted it hot. Felt belittled by the manager and after all we didn't even ask for her to come over to talk to us. The waitress did that all on her own. Plus my wife didn't get to eat a whole meal cause they didn't offer to replace her potatoes a third tone after finding hair in it. It's not good. Went last weekend. We were seated right away, but the service was not good. My food was cold, and the waitress took 25 minutes to walk by the table and didn't even ask if we needed anything! My son stopped the waitress and asked for the things we needed. The bottomless pancakes and French toast are only bottomless if you can somehow find your waitress and get her to bring them. French toast was delivered without syrup! Took 25 mins to get the waitress to get the syrup and drink refills. There was no apology for the bad service. We won't return. read more

There are no words for how awful this place is. From the lack of service, the horrible food, to the lack of caring by management. Sadly the food at Waffle House is much better quality with better service and less expensive. How is this place still in business??? read more

Its O.k. The main dishes are decent the side dishes leave something to be desired. The service is slow but friendly.

If I could subtract stars, I would. The first time my husband and I went here we had AWFUL service. And when his order came up wrong, the manager actually ARGUED with him about it. No one even apologized. We weren't going to go back, but ended up with a giftcard and decided to give them another chance. We used the gift card over two visits and neither was any better than the first experience. Bad service, only ok food and ridiculous wait times. We decided to give them ONE last chance today SIX months after our last visit out there. And let me just say, I'll NEVER go back. My husband ordered scrambled eggs which were severely underdone to the point of nearly being inedible. We both got hashbrowns which were overdone and I ordered eggs benedict which came out with completely solid centers. When we asked to have my eggs remade it took them TWENTY FIVE minutes to bring out the new order and the centers were still completely solid. A poached egg should have a runny center. And there's no way it took 25 minutes to poach two eggs. On top of which there was NO apology again. We didn't even bother to complain about my husbands underdone eggs OR the burnt hashbrowns. We'll never be back. read more

We go here a couple of times a month for breakfast early on Sunday. We like the food. The waitresses are usually talking and laughing loudly in the back, so that everyone can hear. Today, we sat there for several minutes waiting for our check. The waitress was talking to another waitress and not paying any attention to us. There was only one other customer there and the sevice was still bad. read more

Okay, so we've eaten here a handful of times. Each time the restaurant was hot inside throughout the summer. The food is not terrible, I believe the warm fresh muffins are the best here. Okay back to the hot restaurant. This particular time we thought to ask them to turn on the air, which we normally never do, as every person would have their preference on temperature. The manager said it was on, then we noticed a thermostat near some seating on the way back to our table. Outside it was 70 or 71 degrees, inside the thermostat was at 78 degrees. Now mind you we were sweating just looking at each other, and the servers were sweating profusely. We asked to speak to the manager again about the air being turned on. Finally the managers comes back to n our table and says that she has the air on already. I replied that every visit we have been to the restaurant, it has been hot inside the plave. I asked for the corporate number and or the owners number, she gave me a number and let me know that she was the owners wife. Now we probably won't return to this establishment with our family of 7 because when your too cheap to keep the air on when it is hot outside, what else are you too cheap to do regarding the preparation of your food? I don't want to find out. But great place, aweful management. read more

My husband and I wanted something different after church yesterday and I'd been craving crepes. Knowing Scrambler Marie's offers them, I picked the restaurant. My chicken, broccoli and mushroom crepes were dry (with meager hollandaise) and full of broccoli stems and were, in general, very mediocre. My husband's western omelet was also very mediocre and they're hard to hurt! We probably won't go back. We've eaten there maybe twice before. read more

Today was the 'three strikes and you are out" meal. The last two visits were disappointing to say the least - both at a service and food level, but it had been awhile and some of our friends wanted to head to Springboro for breakfast (there were six of us). We ordered the mini-Classic (2 eggs, 1 piece of sausage, and 2 mini pancakes, and seasonal fruit cup). The meal came out cold, which is typical of what we have experienced there before. The pancakes had been sitting around for who knows how long. They were cold, dry, and the outer part was hard and crusty. Even syrup didn't help them. The waitress didn't come around and ask how our food was, and by the time she did come, we were all pretty much done eating. We will not be back. VERY disappointing all around. read more

My first visit to Scrambler Marie's will be my last visit. We had a group of 7 people on a Thursday morning. It started with the fact that after we were seated, it took the hostess over 15 minutes to come and take our drink order. Then it took another 10 minutes for us to get our drinks of which 2 were incorrect. We finally place our orders. Half an hour later, part of the orders came. Started with the 2 people who had pancakes of which the hostess did not bring any syrup until 5 minutes later. Each meal was brought out at separate times and every meal but one was ICE cold. The hostess never came back to check on us for refills or to see how our food was. What was planned to be an hour breakfast ended up being an hour and a half plus. I advised a different hostess (since ours never returned) that our meals were cold and with evident frustration she said she would get a manager. Needless to say, the manager never came to speak with us. I should have started this post with the fact that the restaurant was not at all busy so the level of service we received cannot be attributed to that.
