I visited the perrysburg oh location with my wife this morning and had one of the worst experiences I have had at any diner in my life. I ordered 3 over medium eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns and you wouldn't believe what the server brought out. The hash browns were so disgustingly greasy (literally in a pool of vegetable oil) and uncooked I was offended a server willingly walked that out to a customer. My first plate had the aforementioned hash browns which were neither 'hashy' or 'brown' in any way, but also had l eggs that was overcooked on the outside while having raw whites and yolks on the inside. My sausage was also pink in the middle. I sent the hashbrowns and eggs back and received over easy eggs (not over medium as ordered and still inexplicably overcooked on the outside) and hashbrowns that were still uncooked but less greasy. My wife received fried potatoes that were still FROZEN in the middle The server stated that the grilled doesn't work right and the cook doesn't know what he's doing. The server never sent a manager over and took my meal off the bill, but didn't comp my side or my orange juice, so we left paying 30$ for a breakfast that neither of us enjoyed. I don't complain about anything ever, but that's a pretty TERRIBLY managed restaurant that serves inedible, undercooked food. On top of that the customer service email on the website doesn't function; you can't message the official company facebook page and none of the countless complaints on google reviews have any reply's so the message I am recieving as a customer is "we couldn't possibly care less about your terrible experience". Also, the responses from "Kelly" on here instructing customers to visit some weird link to the company website to address their concerns (which 404's btw) is insulting and more evidence of a complete lack of care on behalf of upper management. There is nobody you can complain to and nobody trying to improve Our experience was so bad that my wife who formerly championed Scramblers now will never step foot in one again. read more

All scramblers are not made the same. This location was out of ingredients for the pancake with fruit and did not have strawberry margaritas that were added to the menu sometime ago. This time I got a waffle and a side of bacon. The Bacon came out very burned and the server acted surprised that I wanted it sent back. She did so without a problem. Just a bit of uniqueness to their dishes. I had a Veggie Bowl, however I had a scrambled egg vs sunny side up with Quinoa, zucchini, spinach, tomato, avocado, and green peppers less the feta cheese. Solid breakfast spot!!! Customer service was great. Tony was attentive and had great energy! I love the option unlimited food from the Griddlers menu. Unlimited pancakes, waffles, and French toast is an awesome option. The waffle was light and fluffy and served with powdered sugar, whipped cream, and side whipped butter. Hash brown were soft and crispy. Pancakes were HUGE but did not lack in flavor. My partner loved his bacon and portion was generous for the prices. Was in Toledo saturday night as a half way point between my home in ohio and my family in michigan, woke up and wanted to try a new breakfast place and ended up going here. The place hadn't got its 11am church crowd yet but it was still pretty full, yet, we were seated as soon as the hostess was back at the podium and was greeted shortly after by our waitress. Speaking of waitress, Alejandra was ours and whatever she gets paid is probably not enough. I'd watch her help the table adjacent to us then the one parallel to us, back to us and the entire time she wouldn't miss a beat and always had a friendly demeanor. Food was delicious and brought out quickly. French toast here was in my opinion better than most restaurants, and even though the sausages were huge, still tasted good. My friend also enjoyed her meal, and even though both of us eat a lot, we were both defeated by our meals so keep in mind the food is filling here.. Only complaint is my chocolate milk could of been bigger and there could of been more chocolate + the chocolate wasn't even really mixed since there was still brown stuff sunk at the bottom. But a small price to pay for a decent priced big meal and a nice waitress. read more

I haven't been to this location in a while so my fiancee and I decided to stop here for brunch. Talk about a disappointing experience! Our waitress was absolutely horrendous. She took our order and then left. She never bothered to check on us to see if our orders were correct or if we wanted drink refills. She then wanted to know why her tip was lower than she had expected and I had to explain it was due to the poor service. The food was delicious and was well presented on the plate. They do have outdoor seating which the weather was perfect so we decided to take full advantage of it. Overall, good experience with Scramblers this past weekend. I have been here before and pleased with the food. I ordered the cheese omelette with hashbrowns and white toast. I felt like my hashbrowns were very gooey and not browned. I had started eating my meal and asked if they could be cooked longer- the server went and got a different plate and had me remove my hashbrowns then went and put them back on the grill and brought the same ones out. The outsides were browned but insides still gooey. I was more surprised that they took the hashbrowns I had touched and put them back on the grill that would be used for other peoples foods... Overall, food tasted good though. You can get the omelettes smaller than the 4 egg size that comes on the menu for a cheaper price which I did because I could never finish the full portion. My bread was dry and did not seem to have much butter and not improved with jam. My fiances bread had butter and tasted better. I live just around the corner from this location, and I think it is a very convenient breakfast spot to walk to. They have pretty efficient service. The waiting staff seems to be young, but they are very cordial. Scrambler Marie's is very popular and usually has a bit of a wait, but it has not taken more than a couple minutes to be seated. I recently ordered the Lean & Green Omelette. It was marvelous. I would absolutely recommend it and I plan on ordering it in the future. Very decent portion sizes and prices. I have also ordered The Classic, but you better come very hungry for this monster meal. The menu has a large variety of items to choose from. Went there this afternoon for breakfast. Hostess called us to be seated and then realized they didn't seat someone in front of us so tried sending us back, but another hostess told her to seat us because they had more than one table open. Sat at table and needed a high chair for grandson...but they only have 4 and they were all in use. Advise hostess that we had coupon and she said give to waitress when you pay your bill. Ordered food and when it came the food runner just about dropped my wife's breakfast in her lap...( only dropped some hash browns ). After waiting forever....Went to find my own high chair......and did. Bill came and gave waitress coupon for discount. Bill came back with charges on my card for the same amount ( no discount ). Had to wait to get supervisor to fix which took at least 10 minutes and 2 more attempts on my card....got the same receipt without discount 3 times......that's right 3 times. Then after realizing I was not happy they tried to give me a discount coupon....can you believe that....after all I went though with one coupon....they wanted to give me another. I said NO THANKS...I won't be back. Maybe I will need to go back...just looked at bank transactions and I was charged several times...I will give it a couple days to see if it clears.. but if it does come off I will NEVER,EVER,EVER...go back. Specializing in (and only open for) brunch, the Scrambler Marie's chain offers a range of sandwiches, omelets, pancakes, and other morning-noon favorites in a pleasant atmosphere. This particular location also has a semi-enclosed meeting room, though the day we went it was being used for the general clientele. According to my mother, a regular, it is sometimes used to house get-togethers for local businesses, baby/wedding showers, and parties. I would think you might want to call ahead if you plan on setting up such an event here, though, as the place does get crowded quickly, and a short wait is not unlikely. Service is polite and usually friendly. An old friend was our waitress this time around, but even when I used to come here fairly frequently (at the old location a few blocks down), I've never had any service issues. The food is also usually quite good. Some dishes, typically the eggs, can be a bit oily sometimes, but I am very fond of most dishes, especially the crepes (chicken or seafood) or pancakes. This time around, I decided to try their monte cristo.... with fries. ....I'm a very healthy eater, you see... However, it was worth the calories. The french toast used for bread is chewy without being soggy, and sweet without being cloying. It is filled with plenty of meat and cheese, and though served with syrup (or you could coat it with jam), you really don't need anything extra. Also, despite all the fried elements, it didn't feel or taste particularly greasy. I also really enjoyed the fries which had a great flavor and texture. My dining guests, that is to say my parents, ordered their favorite meals: dad had the rocky top pancakes (a bottomless plate of fluffy flap jacks topped with crunchy granola), and mom had an autumn special consisting of a turky sandwich on cranberry-laced bread and creamy pumpkin soup. I am told that both were great (and can vouche for the rocky top, it being another of my "go to" meals.) Note that if you join the Maries club, you do get a free meal on your birthday and other occasional coupons. It, and the restaurant itself, are worth checking out. read more

I left a lengthy review over a year ago and I wanted to on to it! I've been coming regularly, almost every weekend, and I love this place. Yes, the service can vary, but the food is exactly what I want for breakfast. I love the amount of options, the portions (which are moderate, perfect for me as I am not a heavy, heavy eater... not so good for my boyfriend who eats more than me, but he still loves the place). Price is right. I love that you can get your coffee to go after you ate there! But again, the service can sometimes upset me - a lot of the servers are young, which is great for them, but service can suffer because of it. Also, the manager can be a crank, which is not great to see when you are a regular customer. Sigh. I still will come back until something seriously goes wrong. The Maumee location does not measure up to this location, so come here instead! I recommend the Mini Classic if you want a little bit of everything (or the regular sized classic if you don't eat like a bird, hehe) - I also love their corned beef hash! Their French Toast is my favorite restaurant French Toast.... and their pancakes are perfect. If you are coming on a busy Sunday, try the call ahead seating, but I haven't wait more than 20 minutes! read more

My grandma was in town and we wanted to take her to somewhere different with a nice environment. They sat us at a small table and they're was 4 of us. I ordered the Meat Market Scrambled wrap with hash browns and a side order of waffles. My hash browns were undercooked and so I asked for them to be heated up, the waitress had a major attitude and suggested I ordered different potatoes. Then, they forgot the meat in my scrambled wrap and was basically eating eggs wrapped in a tortilla. The waitress never brought me my side of waffles no matter how many time I asked her where they were. She brought us the check and still expected us to pay for something that we didn't receive.
