There seems to be some serious problems with the staff and cook being on the same page and working together. And lack of professionalism in general. Ordered a supreme in size individual but was told it only comes in large so I asked for an alternative suggestion . I got attitude and rolled eyes when asked for extra cheese on a calzone too. First she said it was free then the cook tells her you need to charge extra. I know this place just opened I work down the street. But staff really needs to get it together they're going to ruin this place for everyone. I hope district management sees this. read more

Tried a personal pizza thought it was good. The 2nd time i wanted to try it again for my family so i Did a phone order for xl pizza and wings. When i arrived there was one person on the register which was also the cook. In the middle of handeling a transaction as a cashier the person went to handle my pizza without washing their hands. Then went to handle the wings. I was just watching this happen before i was going to pay. This is not the employees fault since they were understaff i believe management needs to change the way they run the business. read more

Barb and I were looking forward to eating at this new pizza restaurant, we were somewhat disappointed when we found out that it was take out. Ordered pepperoni rolls, calzone and " crispy " chicken wings. Started out with the wings, tasty but not even near crispy, I wonder how hard it is for young people to listen and follow what customers ordered. Next was the pepperoni rolls, I would definitely order these again, finally was the calzone whoever made it must have been afraid to mix ingredients because it tasted as if they were in piles. It was ok, but not very tasty. All in all the food I s passable but I won't go out of my way to return. Order was 2 xl.. Pick-up. Mushrooms seemed to be micro blade cut. Meaning thin slivers off of one mushroom. Pepperoni had to be counted it was the se count on both. The knots were raw inside. And one slice of pepperoni inside. The jalapeño ones.. Two small slivers and no cheese. The most awful training of these employees. The pizzas were the cheapest made and ingredients were obviously slivers of pepperoni.. Mushrooms.. Peppers etc. Extremely disappointing.. Scratch just opened by our house so we thought we would give it a try. We've ordered three times there. If you order just pepperoni, its okay. But don't order the sausage! They don't give you sausage, its more like Sausage DUST. We gave it another try and ordered bell pepper and onion. We got a WHOLE 7 bell pepper and 9 pieces of onion. The pizza looked like they forgot to add the toppings and threw a handful on towards the end. The sauce is delicious and again, just a pepperoni pizza is the only way to go there. This is the one on Bellgrave. I haven't tried other Scratch pizza facilities. read more

I think the box would have had as much flavor as the pizza if I had tried it. The toppings are $2.00 each and some slices didn't even have all three toppings on them. They were very skimpy with them and the onions were chunks not sliced. Even the cheese sticks were bland. Do not waste your money! read more

Guys.. These guys have hit a home run with their Chicken Alfredo and Mushroom pizza. That is my test pizza for all the places I go to. Wow Wow Wow I can't say it enough this place is bomb . Com I have tried half the menu and the garlic knots and other sides are so yummy. I love the fact it's organic and not loaded with sugar, you can tell after taking the first bite that this pizza is DIFFERENT. I crave it at least 2x a week and whenever they have deals and specials I order and realize I didn't order enough. LOL and rumor has it they are adding more desserts to the menu, thank Jesus I have a gym membership hahaha these carbs are worth it read more

The service is great. Every time I'm in there I feel like I'm talking to the owner of the joint. They seem to take such pride and care in helping customers. Great local pizza joint! Went last evening and tried the cauliflower crust pizza for the first time, and it turned out beautifully. Even though you can tell the employees got a bit of a rush, the chef got my pizza out at a reasonable time and everything tasted great. Should also mention that the employee working was very polite- greeted me when I came in, even while working, and continued to greet each guest as they came in! Awesome place. Best place in the area. Last night we were looking for something to eat and we went into Scratch Pizza, the staff welcomed us super nicely but we were still hesitant on trying the new pizza place. As soon as we bit into the pizza we fell in love, we had mixed emotions because it brought back memories from Puerto Rican pizza. We will definitely come back here for pizza nights. Horrible service. When I asked for recommendation the cashier was clueless. The ones making the pizza did not have gloves on or hair nets... and touching everything. We waited a long time for the food... When we got our food it was not complete And I wasn't going to wait for the food. They all looked at me and didn't apologize or offer to resolve the issue and simply said "have a good night". Not professional at all... I had been looking for a good pizza and thought I had found a good one in king pizza, then I had scratch pizza and I changed my mind. Their pizza crust is one of the best I've ever had and it's not doughy, you can ask and they will leave it in a little longer for a crispier crust. Their sauce is house made daily and is delicious. They do not skimp on the toppings either. But I like the flavor of the sauce so much that I have become a cheese pizza lover so the flavor comes thru. The staff is so friendly and helpful and welcome you as soon as you come in. Their specials are great and with a $5 individual pizza from 11am til 2pm is unbeatable. They have delivery service but it's so close it's a nice little outing for a great meal. Be sure to try the jalapeño rolls hot and spicy.
