We just had all of our window screens replaced this past Wednesday. Evan was awesome. He showed up within the hours his office said he would, and got started right away. Side note: Kathy from the office is very friendly and helpful on the phone. He pulled all the screens, and assessed all the frames we had/didn't have (a number of our windows did not have screens). He ended up making six frames, and reused six frames. I don't know exactly how long everything too, but I'm sure he got finished in under two hours. He was also able to repair one of our window springs, and removed/hauled away our front door screen. The business transaction was simple and straight forward. Evan emailed our receipt via email as part of the transaction. Overall, the family is very satisfied with all the work, timelines, professionalism, friendliness, and we plan to contact him again if we ever have any other screen needs. I requested quotes from a couple places regarding replacing a window screen & frame. In addition, I inquired about the possibility of getting a screen for the crawl space beneath our house. The main reason I went with Evan is due to his ability to address each issue in my request. He was uncertain about the crawl space but offered to take a look at it. Called these guys up after DIY Center "lost" my screen door (yup, gave the door to someone else. This, by the way, was not the first time they've done this to customers, according to their staff). Screenmobile was the first business to pop up on my Yelp search and had 5 stars, so I decided to go with them. Well, Evan (the owner) was scheduled to show up between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. Right on the dot, he shows up at 8:30 am (thank you for not making me wait around for an hour). Long story short, makes me a new door (the one they lost was custom size so DIY Center couldn't just give me a new door from their inventory) in less than 45 minutes, spends some extra time to make sure I'm clear about how to remove it in the future if need be, and is on his way by 9:15 am. It's hard to find good people who perform quality work. I've found one and will keep in my contacts for any future needs. DIY would have been cheaper, I'm sure, but, you get what you pay for. Lesson learned. I'm willing to pay a little more to not deal with incompetent people. Evan and Screenmobile were worth every penny. 5 stars for a reason. read more
