We used Scrub Housekeeping for a move-out cleaning on a three bedroom, two bathroom home. Although they were not the least expensive quote we received, I liked the fact that Victoria, in the initial response, listed in detail all of the items included in the service and costs for additional work. Also, the communication with her through the Yelp messaging was prompt and clear. The only negative that I want to relate is that the cleaning was scheduled for a 1:00 pm arrival. It was important to us that everything be finished by 4:00 pm as we had a scheduled walk through with the landlord at that time. At 12:49 pm I received a text saying that the crew would arrive between 1:30 and 1:45 pm with no other explanation. The crew of three actually arrived at about 2:00 pm. Due to this our landlord had to wait for a while until the cleaning was finished. Gladis and the crew went immediately to work and never stopped for the next three hours. They cleaned everything with attention to detail including the ceiling fans and baseboards. Both bathrooms and the kitchen were spotless including the oven and refrigerator. The floors (mostly hardwood) were shining and the interior windows were clean. We were very happy with the results and I would absolutely recommend Scrub again. read more

Hired Scrub Housekeeping via Yelp for the move out cleaning of my old apartment. On day of appointment, the supervisor called me to say they would be about 15 minutes late. The ended up being an hour late. However, they cleaned that apartment within a inch of its life! They did an outstanding job. Place looked fantastic when they finished! My first experience with Victoria was a total faith decision suggested to me by a neighbor the day before I was leaving on vacation. He threw out the idea of having " his cleaning gal" clean my apartment while I was away so that when I came home, it would be to a clean dust free apartment. Not only did I come home to a very very clean and spotless home, I came home to a place that had more character then when I left. Everything was spotless and shiny and so very very clean!! Needed a move in cleaning. The place had filth or dirt on every surface and asked for all surfaces to be wiped down. I had two ladies who came on time. The owner showed up and made sure specifically areas she felt need more attention were addressed and came to check on things with her crew. The initial deep cleaning was great, expensive, but great. The communication, however, just wasn't there. Every time I tried to schedule, they were "already booked." It took 1.5 months to come up with an agreed date. This shows me that they don't have enough staff to accommodate to a regular schedule. Also, the owner wanted to schedule another deep cleaning because it had been so long since they were last there. Why should I pay more, when it took a long time for them to come back out? It is unfortunate, because they did a good job cleaning. However, the hassle in scheduling and communication swayed my decision discontinue their services. I hoped this can be improved. read more

It was very disheartening to communicate for an entire week to finally mutually agree on a date and time for service, only to get notification the DAY BEFORE they did not service our area. They do not understand what a move out cleaning is in an empty house. The owner seemed so reassuring. Paneling was still dusty, the new carpet (I told them it was new and already vacummed) they revacummed for no reason and the frig was still dirty inside. Bathrooms they cleaned. I'm a pack rat, so I needed a person(s) that would actually work and not just stand around or make calls on their cell phones (which has happened). I planned on two visits to complete the task. The two ladies arrived with their supplies actually early and quickly went to work. My only criticism was that, somehow, some of my mail was discarded along with the trash.
