Amazing Fish tacos in Bellevue, WA. Second location with first one being in Federal Way (opening in 1998). It is not associated with the Senor taco chain in Arizona (this senor taco's website is www.senor-taco.com). Senor Taco, Belleveu, is a non-descript store front in an older strip mall. Their fish tacos have appeared on various review sites, including a 'Best of Seattle', so really wanted to try it. It's close enough to where we were staying to walk if a nice day, but those are pretty rare on a Seattle December day, so we ended up driving. We got there soon after opening around 11am, and parking was plentiful. You place your order (and pay) with the very friendly proprietor at the front counter. There is a self-serve Pepsi machine to the side, where we were able to get free filtered water (which is a always a plus). Quesabirria is available here now, so we got that as well. OG Baja ($4.50 each) - made with cod, the fish loin seemed as if freshly battered and fried, served inside of a corn tortilla, with a plentitude of fresh toppings including a very good pico de gallo. Just looking at it, made you realize how it was going to be. And the first bite truly was...as good as any fish tacos I've had in LA. Quesabirra ($15.50) - 3 cheesy corn tortilla tacos. Each had plenty of shredded beef, and a small bowl of consume. The meat was good quality, very tender. My wife really liked it. Since it's a fast food set-up, you self bus the disposable plates and can be on your way really quickly. It wasn't nearly as busy during lunchtime as I thought it would be, considering the great food and service that we received.

Very cute, small, and lowkey Mexican restaurant with amazing CHEESY ASADA FRIES!!! Highly recommend getting these! The tortas are great as well, but a little soggy and messy as they come apart by the end of eating them. Service is friendly and food is very fast.

Was looking for a place to get tacos on the east side and this popped up on google maps. It is located in the BelRed area with ample parking. Service was extremely quick and friendly. You order that the kiosk up front and then sit afterward. Apparently they're known for their fish tacos??? Anyway we got the beef, chicken, pork, and fish tacos. We also got a plate of their birria tacos. All were super super tasty. Their fish tacos were hot and fresh and crispy with a refreshing slaw. The pork tacos were the most flavorful of the three meats in my opinion. They come without salsa so make sure to ask for a bottle of the salsa! Vibes are pretty casual - decent for groups but it's a fairly small restaurant. Overall I'd come back again!

exceeded my expectations for mexican in seattle!! def satisfied the mexican food is been craving for a while. fish taco was definitely unique and pretty good. the al pastor could've been juicier but both that and the asada were tender. decent prices as well!

Tried out this local favorite. We went with the most popular menu item the California burrito with carne asada. Quick to serve us which was great. The burrito was huge. Only issues were that the carne asada was over cooked, the tortillas was bland and when they gave the cheese in the burrito it wasn't warm it was an abrupt cold to hot ratio. Overall, is it worth the visit? Yes, if you're starving. Am I able to find better, yes but I will Say there salsas were delicious and the cashier was very nice.

Unfortunate regression. So to be fair, we did go on a weekday, but I got the California burrito with fish because the last time I tried their fish tacos they were heavenly and the fish was fried to perfection. However, in a burrito it almost tasted like it was bad quality fish, over fried in probably old oil and just didn't have that same flavor. Additionally, maybe it was an off day, but their pico was super onion, overpoweringly onion. Partner couldn't even finish his chicken burrito because of that onion and the pico unfortunate because I think the fries were still a decent crisp and thinness, but just overall not a good visit. Also, it felt like whoever was there might've been back up because the way that our burritos were wrapped were terrible. We had one side that was just all tortilla folded onto itself, so it was like eating a giant wad of dough.

really great hole in the wall spot that my group and i found from google! all the soft tacos were so juicy and the meat was super tender. the side of rice was also moist and flavorful. we also ordered an additional plate of the fish tacos because we heard they were good (they were! loved how fresh and crispy it was). additionally, customer service was great. the quesabirria is a little expensive (~$15) but still tasty. would definitely come back again!

Despite the surrounding restaurants closing down over the years, Señor Taco continues to prevail. I can't believe it took me so long to try it out. Two of us came here for a takeout lunch on a weekday at noon. After we arrived, about 12 people walked in, so it was a true lunch rush. A single cashier managed all orders at the counter. I was on the fence about whether to order the al pastor (BBQ pork) or barbacoa (shredded beef). With the barbacoa being more wet, she suggested the al pastor would be more suitable for a takeout order, and it also happened to be her favorite. As we left with our order after about 10 minutes, she called out a thank you from the counter even while tending to other customers. So nice! I got a plate of three tacos, all ordered a la carte. Each was the size of a street taco and contained a generous amount of meat. Chopped onion and cilantro topped each one. + FISH TACO ($4.50): So delicious! The fish was lightly battered and I enjoyed the house sauce which tasted like a smoky chipotle aioli. Cabbage and pico de gallo were tossed on top which added some extra crunch and freshness. + AL PASTOR TACO ($3.50): The employee was right! I loved this one. The marinated pork was so savory, spiced liberally and slightly sweet. It didn't need anything else; it was perfect as is. I should have ordered another one of these. + CARNE ASADA TACO ($3.50): This one was alright. The meat was pretty tender but it didn't have that charred off-the-grill flavor. It was a little bland by itself, so I poured on the spicy red salsa to elevate it. They are not kidding when they say this salsa is hot... it numbed my tongue! My companion enjoyed the Señor Burrito with chicken ($11.50). It came stuffed to the max with rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, lettuce and pico de gallo. It was super heavy and sufficient for two meals. The chicken had a light grilled flavor and there was a generous portion of meat inside. This spot is a gem and high on my list for tacos. I would return again and again especially for more al pastor or to try their quesobirria! 4.75 stars.

Came here for lunch. It's on the smaller side. We were greeted right away and customer service was great! After we ordered, we sat down and our food pretty much came right away. I had 2 asada tacos and 2 pastor tacos. They gave us red and green sauce-both not very spicy. The tacos were topped with fresh onion and cilantro. For both asada and pastor, the meat was very dry and hard and it hurt my jaw eating it. Overall, I probably won't come back, but the 3 stars are for the customer service. It was great!

I've been wanting to try Senor Taco for a while, so decided to stop in for lunch a few days ago. Although I never ever order quesadillas, the Senor Quesadilla sounded so good I decided give it a try. Plus I was craving a birria taco and with beef this would be the closest menu item they had to a birria taco (you know, shredded beef and lots of gooey melty cheese ) I ordered my quesadilla with Cabeza (shredded beef) & salsa verde and it was absolutely delicious. It was stuffed full of the tender and delicious cabeza, beans and plenty of cheese and was so flavorful. Yep, I'll be back and I'll definitely order this again. Also they're super nice and my order was ready very quickly. And that's how the Senor Taco quesadilla earned my rare five stars.

I have been wanting to try this place for so long and finally got around to it. Fish Taco - Easily the best fish taco I've had in the greater Seattle area. Nothing else even comes close. The ultra-crispy batter with the fantastic sauces and condiments makes supremely delicious. It's an explosion of bright bold flavors and contrasting yet balanced textures. It pairs really well with the salsa verde that cuts nicely through some of the richness. Highly Recommended. Carne Asada - Pretty standard. It was good but comparable to everywhere else. Nothing to really write home about. Barbacoa, Cabeza - These were neither authentic barbacoa nor authentic cabeza, they were merely spicy and regular shredded beef. That said, they were both quite delicious and paired really well with the salsa roja. Overall I absolutely loved the food here. The service is super quick and small little things take it over the top. For example, while you're ordering, as soon as you say fish tacos, they inform the kitchen to start frying since that is what takes the longest. That way, by the time you finish the rest of your order, the food is almost ready and the wait time is literally a couple of minutes. Can't wait to go back and just devour a mountain of fish tacos. read more

I absolutely love this place muchoooo I've been there 3 times in the last week! Pretty much my favorite spot on the east side to grab a quick bite or a whole meal. The place has stuffed jalapeños taco which I've never seen anywhere else, and their fish tacos are always my go to! They even have barilla tacos too. Let's not forget the sauce which makes it breaks the whole meal. You can't go wrong with either the spicy or tomatillo. The service is always A1 and great place for a quick lunch break and they even have a outside set up during the spring and summers. read more

We have been wanting to try this place out for a long time. Finally, we got an opportunity. We got burrito, torta, and fries, all amazing! We are cabeza lovers, so we ordered everything with shredded beef. The only thing is that everything seems to be a little saltier than food from other taco places we tried. Hopefully next time it won't be that salty. We will try here again for sure. read more

Great food. Fresh and staff are very friendly. Well priced too. Ok. Yelp apparently needs a longer review. I've been going here for years. One thing that's important to me with Mexican food are their salsas, and this place now sells their salsas because they're so good. Or maybe it's a sauce...? Anyways, he told me they don't use vinegar which is great. It has a smoother texture and Smokey spicy kick. I told them it should be bottled and sold in stores. Anyways...check it out. The best burritos in Bellevue! It's a bold statement, but these puppies will get you in your feelings...so delicious! I love the Señor Burrito and the California Burrito here. They are HUGE and packed with the perfect blend of ingredients. Señor Taco is great place to come for lunch or dinner. They serve cerveza and cater as well! As I walked into the restaurant and the counter a little kid pops out of the kitchen to greet me and take my order. You love to see it. I had been missing San Diego and their California burritos so I looked some up and found this place. So when I walked in I knew that was going to be my order. I had also heard good things about the señor taco so I thought to try that as well. The California burrito was good. There were a lot of crispy fries in it which I liked and the carne asada was nice. If you don't want carne asada you can pick your choice of meat. I looooved the red sauce that came with it! It has more of a kick than other red sauces I've had and it was really good. I wish they gave more than just two tiny containers in my bag because I love drenching it in my burritos. I actually think they got my order wrong for the señor taco because I didn't have any fries or guacamole in my taco. I didn't realize it until I got home since I got my order to-go. I guess it's my fault because I came half an hour before closing. I thought the al pastor on my taco was tender but not super tender. I will make sure I come earlier in the day next time and I will also make sure I eat my order there so it's fresh. Also, parking is plentiful! read more

Senor Taco is my favorite taco place! I used to go all the way to the Federal Way location for my taco fix so I'm so glad they opened a location closer to me. I always make sure to get their fish tacos since they are soo delicious! I love how they fry the fish and serve it with delicious sauces and toppings. The staff and service here are the real stars! This place have been on my yelp list for a while and I finally had a chance to try it out. My friend and I wanted just tacos so we grabbed a variety of tacos to share. We got the fish taco, senor tacos with al pastor and chicken, soft tacos with lengua, baracoa, and carne asada, and finally a southwestern taco. The senor tacos has fries in them!!! The tacos were soft and the amount of fillings they put in each tacos were very generous. The sauces that they have were amazing, there's a green sauce which is kind of sweet but very tasty and goes well with each taco. The red sauce was SPICY!!! which I love!!!! I was putting both sauces in each taco and the combination was great. A couple of things I thought could have been better though, besides the al pastor and the barcoa, all the other tacos were super bland, which is kinda disheartening because the meat are super tender and soft. Another thing is that I wish they have a salsa bar so that we can grab other things to put in the tacos. The tortilla was a little fragile and could be a little stronger. However, service was great, prices were great and the tacos were good and I would definitely come back to try their burritos and nachos (which were humongous). read more

I normally don't go out of my way for fish tacos but once I tried these, I never saw fish tacos the same way again. The fish is nice and crispy, generous amounts of sauce, tacos are just LOADED. The taste and quality are very consistent with the federal way location. Friendly service, and good prices. read more

I'm going to start this review saying, I'm from San Diego so I know my expectations are off from the norm and hard to go against. That being said, I really wanted a California burrito. I ordered pickup via Ubereats. The shop is very clean and to pick up I just needed to say I'm picking up an order to the person working the register. The burrito itself was okay. It wasn't really outstanding to me and mostly just disappointed that it didn't satisfy the craving I was having. It probably didn't help that it was also the wrong burrito. There was a distinct lack of fries and a lot of rice instead. There was enough rice at one point of the burrito where I'm pretty sure I just got a mouthful of rice. Despite knowing I can complain to uber eats about a wrong order, I didn't. There is no easy way to know that you gave someone the wrong burrito and it's hard enough for restaurants but it's hard not to be at least a little bit disappointed. read more

Took our family of 9 people here for dinner. Yelped this place, got everyone's orders ready, to only drive up only to see it closed. Had to scramble to find another place to eat quickly with two hungry kids in the car. Kinda annoyed since Yelp and Google showed they were open. You may want to call! read more

This little family owned taco spot is HANDS DOWN the best in the Bellevue area! Lemme tell you why, first off the price is still very good and affordable compared to other places with their price hikes and in this horrible time and age where things are just getting worse this place to me feels like it's trying to stay the same and it delivers! Secondly the quality and authenticity of this spot is legit! No trying to be a fancy place so I can charge you more money for nothing going on here. Thirdly the flavors and meat choices are great the classic go-to's like Asada, Pastor etc.. are all great and the portions are perfect, just enough protein to almost completely cover your tortilla and when the meat to tortilla ratio is on point you know they're not trying to make more profit then full belly's. (Side note they also have lengua which is always a plus in my books which I suggest to anyone who is open to trying new tender juicy things.) Lastly and I feel which hit home for me is that this small mom & pop shop is family owned and operated which I'm all about supporting the right business and these guys are SOOOOO deserving because like I said up top in this day and age where things are horrible this spot keeps rolling with the punches and pumps out deliciousness with everything they do. Also they're Son takes you're order at the front and is a humble hard working kid which is very rare in todays age. Definitely will and have been telling everyone about this little gem and I will be coming back for more! read more

If you're looking for California style Mexican street tacos, made fast and made to order - this is definitely your spot. I came in Sunday afternoon craving al pastor and ordered three tacos - 2 Al Pastor (BBQ Pork) and 1 Barbacoa (spicy shredded beef). To my surprise the Barbacoa was the star of the show! It was super moist, spicy, and full of flavor (see photo). The tacos came loaded with fresh cilantro, chopped onion with lime and radish on the side. The al pastor was a little dry, but definitely satisfied my craving. Overall 4/5 star tacos. Clean restaurant, friendly service, affordably priced. My order was taken by a really smart young boy (maybe age 10). He answered my questions about the menu and brought me a water cup after I forgot to order a drink. I get the impression this place is family owned, which I love to support. Will definitely be back :) read more

Really great fish tacos. I definitely recommend those or the carne asada tacos. I got two Señor Tacos (~$3/ea) with the pico de gallo and guacamole on the side; because I'm picky like a 12 year old. (No disrespect to any 12 year old that may be reading this) the Salsa was also pretty bamb. The worker at the front gave top notch service. He was polite, quick and very respectful. read more

Highly highly recommend this place. It's not a fancy date place but if you want good quality and delicious tacos this is your place. This place is not that big but very clean. Top notch service. Team is friendly and service is very quick. Fish tacos and burritos are delish. Their house sauce is very tasty and the right amount of spices. I would come back here to try other things. We live closer to the Federal Way location and have wanted to check it out but have not yet. We happened to be in Bellevue picking up a HoneyBaked Turkey next door. We hadn't eaten and decided to try a few small things. We split a fish taco. It was so good. The fish was battered. The batter was light and crispy. The sauce was very flavorful. The lime triangles they provided were juicy and easy to squeeze. I will definitely order this again. Thumbs up for sure. The second item we ordered was the soft chicken taco. It was street taco style with tiny chopped onions. Another thumbs up. I would order this again also. Lastly we split a cheese quesadilla. Nothing special just a flour tortilla and cheese. I like that it's grilled and got a crunch to it. I would not order this again. Not because it wasn't good, but because I could make it the same at home. In fact my husband said this tastes like you made it. We will be returning but most likely to the Federal Way location. I definitely see more fish tacos in my future. We ate the food so fast I forgot to get pics of the food. I gave only 4 stars instead of 5 because they are not open on Sundays. read more

This place is family run and they are the nicest. I love coming here to satisfy my craving for tacos. I love that the tacos are simple yet packed with so much flavor. This is as close as it gets to my "al pastor burrito" that I long for from El Grullense in the bay. It's around $9. I do think that the is more flour wrap inside the burrito. You can't choose black beans, only pinto. This place was busy. Easy parking. Guac/chips is $4.50. Great little hole in the wall taco shop. Not much seating inside so at busy hours it might be best to do take out. We went at off hours for takeout and the food was ready in under 10 min. The person at the register was very friendly and double checked our order both at checkout and when the food was ready. We tried about 2/3 of the tacos on the menu plus a burrito. Their house special tacos have french fries in them which are amazing. The barbacoa was my favorite meat. The salsa tasted like it was made in house and was slightly sweet. Overall, this tamed my taco craving. I wouldn't go out my way to come back, but if I were in the area, I'd hit it up again.

I have been to…read morethis taco food truck numerous times last year and a half, vistin during week days, weekends, holidays - during day time, night time, etc. And I can say that every time that I have been here, the food has slapped! Located in the lot of a 76 gas station, this food truck may look unsuspecting, but serves up some delicious tacos at an affordable price. It's convenient too! Located near a Fred Meyer and a Asian Family Market, you can get your groceries and then you can fill up your car and eat some bomb tacos right after! There are so lots just around the gas station that people have parked at just to get these tacos. Service is fast, you place your order at the window, and you will get your tacos in 5-10 minutes. You will get your order on a paper plate, which usually means the food will be amazing or bad - luckily in this case, it's amazing. The tacos themselves are no frills and are juicy, flavorful, and very pleasant in terms of texture to eat. Though I have tried every other option they had for filling - I am a big fan of their lengua and their cabeza! Their lengua is tender and diced into soft bite-sized pieces, and gives a fall apart meaty texture. The cabeza is rich and melts away as you chew it, with some scrumptious leaner pieces of the meat that give the taco some integrity so it allows for you to feel the decadence and then give you something solid to hold onto - it's great. The meat themselves aren't salted very much, but still have a delicious subtle aromatic taste to them. They are complimented very nicely by the salsas they have - a salsa verde, and a spicier salsa that is made with habanero - I could easily down 5-6 tacos every time I have visited. You will probably spend $2-3 per taco depending on what cut of meat you want - I feel that the tacos are priced very fairly priced vs. the average taco you can get in Seattle currently. Not many other reviews have mentioned this - but I have also tried their Sweet Corn Tamales for $3. Their tamales are great! They are the perfect amount of sweetness and give a forward sweet corn flavor. The texture is exactly like eating a slightly sweeter corn bread. A very affordable price for a dessert where most desserts (especially tamales) cost $6-$8. This is one of the few food trucks that I have been to where not only is the food good, but the prices are what you would expect tacos to cost. I don't think I can write more about how great this Food Truck is, as the tacos here are definitely ranked the top in my mind for tacos I've tried here in Seattle so far. This place is definitely a hole in the wall, but it is fast and delicious! First time here and we ordered and received our food in less than 6 minutes. Came for lunch. Ordered the spicy Barbacoa señor tacos and chips and salsa and the tacos were AMAZING! The barbacoa wasn't too spicy but still had a kick and was not fatty but marinated in the best sauce. The chips have some sort of seasoning on them which makes them extra delicious and the salsa was sweet. The green salsa was also good. Very nice and attentive service and clean table. I am so happy this place opened in Bellevue. They serve top notch tacos, burritos, bowls and tortas. Way better than the best taco truck around! I am from Southern California and I know my Mexican food. This place is the real deal! Inexpensive, high quality home made food! The family who owns this place are so nice and welcoming. If you eat here, you'll become a regular like me. read more

This place offers some of the best burritos and meat, a long-standing favorite that originated from another part of town and now boasts an expanded menu. The double carne burritos, especially when smothered in green salsa, are a must-try. It's hard to be disappointed here. The only minor gripe might be the shoestring fries, though this could be down to personal taste. read more
