Veggie taco with potatoes and cactus
    Ratish K.

My first experience eating Cactus! And it was fresh and well prepared! The Veggie taco comes with potatoes and cactus. The chicken torta was good with chicken, avocado and onions. The fish taco was very fresh and the I didn't get any fishy smell which is usually associated with a fish taco. The taco are little bigger and the price sheet is for a single taco. The mild salsa is heavenly and amazing. Love the cilantro flavor. The hot sauce has smoky hotness to the sauce. Overall, I wish the taco and torta was little juicer but was compensated with the salsa!

La Chingona is incredible! I had the al pastor burrito and taco--both were excellent. The burrito was massive, almost the size of my forearm. The al pastor taco was bigger than your average taco and had potato in it, which I wasn't used to but actually really enjoyed. Definitely justifies the ~$6 price. But the real star of the show? The fried fish (pescado) taco. I'm obsessed with battered fish tacos, and it's been tough to find a really good one in Seattle... until now. This one was insane - super crispy, well-seasoned, and packed with a good amount of fish. Edgar, the owner, was incredibly friendly and even gave us free mango juice since it was our first visit. Already planning my trip back this week! Between the amazing food and great hospitality, La Chingona is an easy 5/5.

    Hair in food

Food tasted good, but I found a huge hair cooked into my chicken tamale unfortunately. Thank god I saw it before I bit down and I had already eaten the first one. I'm giving it 2 stars because the food was good but that doesn't excuse a quite obvious hair in there.

This isn't your average taco truck! Their selection is huge!!! They make the most unique taco combinations. From their homemade horchata to their chile relleno tacos they are knocking it out of the park on flavor and quality! They have 6 different table options to eat at. I love how they give you bottles of green and red sauce to smother on your food. The kids meals were the perfect size, my kids ate everything!!!! Their Baja battered fish tacos were huge, the batter had great zesty flavor, and I loved the fish taco toppings. Omg it took me back to the fish tacos in CaboTheir carnitas were also awesome. I also loved the 90s/early 2000s r&b music playing. I felt like I was at the club! Great vibes here, great food, amazing fast service! You can tell they love what they do here.

This cute little food truck serves up some truly authentic Mexican food! There are a couple of picnic tables beside it, making it a perfect spot to enjoy your meal outdoors. We tried a variety of tacos -- the prawn & mushroom and the chile relleno ones were definite standouts. The staff was super kind and friendly, though our order did get mixed up once. Other than that small hiccup, everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth a visit

Very yummy tacos. Good portion of meat. Highly recommend the fish taco. It is very crispy. The pastor was juicy as well. The asada was okay as well. The horchata was just okay. It tasted more like cinnamon milk. Recommend this spot for tacos in the area.

    Finally trying this place!

First time I came here, they were not open even though the hours said they should be open (in fact, they should have been open for at least an hour when we showed up). Not a good first impression. Today, they were open! My daughter really wanted to try some Tamales (her friend from Mexico has been hyping her up about it) and this food truck happens to be the highest rated restaurant near me that serves Tamales. Verdict? I thought this place was good but not great. 4.5 yelp review IMHO is way too generous. I have had better mexican food in SoCal and Seattle (multiple establishments). Onto the food! Carne Asada had a bit of a meat smell (not a good thing!) but it had potatoes inside which was a good touch. Al Pastor was good. Green pork tamale was my favorite. The red chicken tamale was okay. Also the prices are too expensive. 6+ dollars for a taco..... Very steep. Portions are slightly bigger compared to typical street style tacos but still... Also 5.99 is the most I have ever paid for tamales. But I guess I have to get used to this type of prices. The seating area is quite cozy and they did a good job decorating the truck. They were playing 90's rap music, which is always a huge plus in my books. Overall,, my rating is about a 3.5. I rounded down for the price and inconsistent hours.

Food here is really good! Especially the wet burrito...omg. The food truck location has better tasting food than the Seattle location in my opinion. There's plenty of seating o it's ice and parking as well. Service when we came this time was terrible. We ordered for take out but then as we were waiting we decided let's just take our time to eat here since where we were headed, there wouldn't be any tables or anything to eat at. As we were eating, a lady that was part of the staff came over and took our to-go sauces away saying something like we purposefully told them we were doing takeout to get more sauces and said another table did the same thing. We apologized and were confused. Such a rude way to speak to customers all over sauce. Would've given this 5 stars for the food, but the lady coming over and telling us off just put a damper on the vibes and is why I'm giving 3 stars.

Wow, such good food. The wet and regular burritos are definitely worth coming here for. The meat and sauce are so fresh and so so yummy. They have a lot of outdoor table with plenty of sauces and space for everyone!

Hot dam this place sits next to the correctional facility and shit if I had problems this place could straighten me out. I'd be going everyday to the facility just so I could have their tacos. Their fish taco is as close as I can get to Cali grade without buying a ticket down. Cabeza was pretty mean as well but gotta try the rest of their menu. Braddahs cooking up mad good in the back, kinda pricey but well worth. Cut approved

I've had their street tacos, habanero enchiladas, California burrito... everything is great. The burrito is huge and full of fries, beans and meat. The meat is super tender and flavorful. The enchiladas have a super spicy, luxurious sauce that I couldn't get enough of. Their guacamole appetizer is also awesome. The inside has like three zones - a darker, moodier corner with booths... then high tables near the bar that are airy, with a ton of light... and then an outdoor area with umbrellas to keep the sun from beating on you too bad. They're all a great vibe -- just different. This is a beautiful, modern, clean restaurant that fits perfectly into Bellevue's scene -- but it almost has too much 'corporate polish,' like a Microsoft high-rise tower. My only mildest of criticisms is that this polish kind of obfuscates how soulful eating Mexican food can be.

You can park in the Bellevue Square parking garage and walk to here. They have online reservations through Google Maps so I suggest doing so to make sure your table is ready because I have seen long lines during peak hours. We had a reservation and arrived on Sunday evening for dinner but still had to wait a while before a server came even though there was no line. There was a water bottle on the table and it was not free so keep that in mind. The restaurant is cozy, but the light could be brighter from my opinion. The menu has many options from small to large and shareable dishes. We went for their famous lamb chops and squid paella for two people. The lamb chops were great and paired well with the potato. It really took a long time (the menu said 30 minutes) for the paella, so take that into account before ordering, but the flavor was worth it. This is our first time trying Spanish food but these were really good. The rice was well mixed, flavored, and came in a big portion. Only one thing is that the meat and seafood were a bit less given the price of this dish. In general, this restaurant is a decent place with great food and location in the heart of Bellevue. I would highly recommend it if you crave for Spanish food. The price is a bit on a higher end but at least you will leave with a good mood and a full belly.

The first thing to know is that it can be a little tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area. It's located on the second floor of the mall, and the easiest way to access it is through the parking garage. I really loved the decor. It was clean, modern, and had a great atmosphere. I was greeted by a very friendly hostess who explained that to-go orders are normally placed online, but she happily got the manager to help me. He was incredibly helpful and made the ordering process easy. The food was really good! I ordered the jackfruit tacos with rice and beans, along with the guacamole sampler. I didn't realize beforehand that it was more Tex-Mex style, so that was a little different than I expected. The guacamole itself was good, but I'm personally not a fan of cheese and some of the additional toppings mixed into guacamole, so it just wasn't my preference. That doesn't mean it wasn't good. It just wasn't for me. The jackfruit tacos, however, were fantastic. I absolutely love jackfruit, and these were some of the best I've had other than the ones I make. They could have used a little more spice, but they were still delicious. And the chips? Completely addicting! I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Seattle to try more items on the menu

You order at the counter before seating yourself, but the staff will bus your tables. There's plenty of parking available and the salsa bar also has some fresh radishes and roasted(?) carrots that I found to be surprisingly well seasoned. Carne Asada Fries: Fries weren't as crispy as I'd like, but the toppings were solid. Beef was decently tender and they were generous with the amount of guacamole. It was my first time seeing beans on fries, but I thought it was pretty solid. Churros: These are definitely pre-made churros that get re-fried. I continue to be on the hunt for fresh churros in the Seattle area, but I wasn't mad at these. The custard had a nice mouthfeel and creamy sweetness, but the whipped cream was a little odd in that it didn't taste like anything at all. Mulitas: I wanted a little more meat in these, but they aren't bad. I like that some of the cheese crisps up a bit on the edges of the tortilla. If I was a little drunk, these would be elite.

WOW. The tequila selection here is basically a library, and the bartenders are the very enthusiastic librarians. They know everything. My partner and I were lovingly escorted through a full tequila tour before our food even arrived, and honestly? By the time dinner showed up, life was beautiful and all decisions felt correct. Needless to say, we were having an excellent time. The food definitely holds its own too. Everything came out fresh, beautifully plated, and tasting like someone in the kitchen actually cares (which is always a plus). We split a few dishes, including the Carne Asada and the Pescado. The Carne Asada was good, though it could've used just a bit more seasoning, nothing tragic, just a gentle nudge from "good" to "wow." The Pescado, however, was fantastic. The food is quite good. I wouldn't call it authentically Mexican, but rather a contemporary, slightly elevated interpretation of Mexican cuisine. Personally, I would have loved a bit more of those bold, authentic Mexican flavors to come through, but overall, the dishes were enjoyable and beautifully presented. The staff was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. I did change my mind shortly after being seated and asked to move from indoors to the patio. Our hostess, Aguilera, gave me a quick look that said, "Really? Already?" but was very gracious and accommodating. In the end, moving outside was definitely the right call! The wooden chairs indoors look beautiful but become a little uncomfortable after sitting for a while. The carved seating cocoons along the walls are visually striking and add a lot of character, although they're probably better for admiring than for a long, leisurely dinner. The outdoor seating, on the other hand, was very comfortable. The biggest opportunity for improvement is the acoustics. Conversations really travel and bounce around the interior, which naturally leads everyone to speak louder just to hear each other, creating a bit of a vicious cycle. During a busy dinner service, it can get quite noisy. That said, I'd absolutely come back and happily bring friends or visitors for a memorable dinner. My preference would definitely be a nice-weather evening with outdoor seating, where you can really enjoy the view and atmosphere. Pro tip: Ask for a Carajillo! It's a Mexican espresso cocktail that can be surprisingly hard to find done well. They have one here, and it was delicious, beautifully presented, and one of the highlights of the evening.
