Stopped in for a late lunch. Their portions are very big. We ordered a chile verde burrito and spilt the burrito and still had some left overs They offer 4-5 different salsas in a self serve area along with sliced fresh red raddish, lime wedges and pickled carrots and jalapeños. The burrito was tasty and there was plenty of meat and sauce poured over the burrito The prices are reasonable for their portions. They also offer "specials" Would definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

So good!!! My fish tacos were flavorful. We came around 5p on a Saturday. Not too busy. Parking is really easy with the strip mall parking lot. Total was $39 before tip for quesabirria, beans and rice, fish taco. There's a dedicated area for toppings and salsas too. Food came out quick. Recommend!

Another local spot serving up great tacos late at night! They have a big menu with lots of different tacos and meal deals. I got the carne asada and al pastor and they were super tasty. Their meats were well seasoned and paired great with the tortillas that they make in house. The food was also super affordable as well! This is epitome of a late night bite - good food, cheap and easy to eat. Tacos: Carne Asada and Al Pastor Tacos

Stopped by El Rinconsito around 10 pm for a late dinner. The place was super busy and pretty noisy, but service was quick and smooth. We had to order at the counter and find our own table. We got 3 fish tacos and 4 chicken tacos. The fish was fried and crispy with good amount of slaw, and the chicken tacos were juicy with solid seasoning. Liked them both. Great spot for late-night eats.

We came here to redeem some free tacos because of the Sounders game we had gone to the day before. They allowed us to pick from 3 different meat choices so we got chicken and spicy pork. We liked that the salsa and condiments had ample ones to choose from. The tacos themselves weren't bad either. The manager walked around and checked on the different tables a few times during our visit to make sure everything was good.

Even though an instance of a fast food Mexican chain of restaurants, El Rinconsito - Bellevue turned out to serve really good Mexican classics, using deliciously marinated meats, fresh vegetables, and an awesome salsa bar. Translating to 'Little Corner' in English, El Rinconsito - Bellevue is one of fourteen locations operating in Washington state, with the first in Kent opening in 1997. The set-up is similar to other fast food places: you stand in line while perusing the menus above, and then place your order with the cashier, pay, then find a seat. After a few moments, the food will be delivered to you. This gives you time to grab salsa and accompaniments from the salsa bar. I followed the advice of my dining locals and ordered the Enchiladas Mexicanas platter with choice of meat $14.98 (I chose buche, which I THOUGHT was pig head, but ended up being pig stomach (tripe)....big difference...was wondering why none of it had muscle fibers...just tender, slightly chewy offal). I still liked it (and now can say I've eaten pig stomach). It was covered in green sauce, with corn tortillas folded over the generous amount of meat, with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and chihuahua cheese crumbles. It came with a good dollop of refried beans, and some decent mexican rice. None of it was too heavy, and I ended up not needing any of the salsas I had grabbed from the bar. One of the salsas was orange so figured it was the hottest, but later realized all of it was pretty mild, with the pico de gallo being the hottest (since it had pickled jalapenos in it). My daughter's taco plate came with a drink, and she wanted me to try the mandarin Favorito brand of soda. It was good..couldn't tell if it used cane sugar instead of corn syrup, but since made in Mexico, assuming so. Was trying to decide if better than Jarritos...couldn't decide. The restaurant will bus the reusable plates, so it was easy to leave once we were done. Everything was fast...this would be a good place for a quick lunch. From their website: "Our tasty recipes prepared with quality ingredients at reasonable prices". I completely agree. It was great.

This is a very generous dish, and very delicious. I was not expecting the size I have to admit. I chose it because I am not happy with the tacos bundle which is going on, where you have to take a soda that I am not drinking. Yummmmmy. And the service is always always friendly and a very efficient. Gracias.

Authentic food, reasonably priced. Casual dining place with little to no ambiance but place seems to be clean.

This is easily one of the best fried calamari dishes in town and worth every penny. I wished the jalapeños had a bit more heat, but the flavor and texture were incredible. * Baja Chimi: The sauce on this was phenomenal--so good that next time I visit, I'm going to see if I can get this sauce on nachos instead of standard cheese! Mixed feeling: * Quesabirria Taco Plate: The consommé was rich, deeply flavorful, and great for dipping. However, the birria meat inside the tacos was on tougher side and chewy rather than tender, which held the dish back. The Misses: * Fish Ceviche: The biggest lowlight--the fish was surprisingly tough and missed the mark on texture. * Nachos with Carne Asada: Pretty underwhelming. Adding carne asada was a steep $10+ upcharge, yet the portion of meat was tiny and the overall flavor was bland.

You can park in the Bellevue Square parking garage and walk to here. They have online reservations through Google Maps so I suggest doing so to make sure your table is ready because I have seen long lines during peak hours. We had a reservation and arrived on Sunday evening for dinner but still had to wait a while before a server came even though there was no line. There was a water bottle on the table and it was not free so keep that in mind. The restaurant is cozy, but the light could be brighter from my opinion. The menu has many options from small to large and shareable dishes. We went for their famous lamb chops and squid paella for two people. The lamb chops were great and paired well with the potato. It really took a long time (the menu said 30 minutes) for the paella, so take that into account before ordering, but the flavor was worth it. This is our first time trying Spanish food but these were really good. The rice was well mixed, flavored, and came in a big portion. Only one thing is that the meat and seafood were a bit less given the price of this dish. In general, this restaurant is a decent place with great food and location in the heart of Bellevue. I would highly recommend it if you crave for Spanish food. The price is a bit on a higher end but at least you will leave with a good mood and a full belly.

The first thing to know is that it can be a little tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area. It's located on the second floor of the mall, and the easiest way to access it is through the parking garage. I really loved the decor. It was clean, modern, and had a great atmosphere. I was greeted by a very friendly hostess who explained that to-go orders are normally placed online, but she happily got the manager to help me. He was incredibly helpful and made the ordering process easy. The food was really good! I ordered the jackfruit tacos with rice and beans, along with the guacamole sampler. I didn't realize beforehand that it was more Tex-Mex style, so that was a little different than I expected. The guacamole itself was good, but I'm personally not a fan of cheese and some of the additional toppings mixed into guacamole, so it just wasn't my preference. That doesn't mean it wasn't good. It just wasn't for me. The jackfruit tacos, however, were fantastic. I absolutely love jackfruit, and these were some of the best I've had other than the ones I make. They could have used a little more spice, but they were still delicious. And the chips? Completely addicting! I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Seattle to try more items on the menu

You know, the kind of place where you sit down thinking, "We'll just have one drink," and suddenly it's three tequilas later and you're talking about your childhood dreams. Speaking of tequila... WOW. The tequila selection here is basically a library, and the bartenders are the very enthusiastic librarians. They know everything. My partner and I were lovingly escorted through a full tequila tour before our food even arrived, and honestly? By the time dinner showed up, life was beautiful and all decisions felt correct. Needless to say, we were having an excellent time. The food definitely holds its own too. Everything came out fresh, beautifully plated, and tasting like someone in the kitchen actually cares (which is always a plus). We split a few dishes, including the Carne Asada and the Pescado. The Carne Asada was good, though it could've used just a bit more seasoning, nothing tragic, just a gentle nudge from "good" to "wow." The Pescado, however, was fantastic. Topped with olives, capers, and tomatoes... I mean, how do you even mess that up? You don't. And they didn't. Bonus points: they're open late, until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. So if you find yourself wandering the streets of Bellevue after hours, questioning your life choices and craving tequila and good food, congratulations, you've found your place. The food is quite good. I wouldn't call it authentically Mexican, but rather a contemporary, slightly elevated interpretation of Mexican cuisine. Personally, I would have loved a bit more of those bold, authentic Mexican flavors to come through, but overall, the dishes were enjoyable and beautifully presented. The staff was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. I did change my mind shortly after being seated and asked to move from indoors to the patio. Our hostess, Aguilera, gave me a quick look that said, "Really? Already?" but was very gracious and accommodating. In the end, moving outside was definitely the right call! The wooden chairs indoors look beautiful but become a little uncomfortable after sitting for a while. The carved seating cocoons along the walls are visually striking and add a lot of character, although they're probably better for admiring than for a long, leisurely dinner. The outdoor seating, on the other hand, was very comfortable. The biggest opportunity for improvement is the acoustics. Conversations really travel and bounce around the interior, which naturally leads everyone to speak louder just to hear each other, creating a bit of a vicious cycle. During a busy dinner service, it can get quite noisy. That said, I'd absolutely come back and happily bring friends or visitors for a memorable dinner. My preference would definitely be a nice-weather evening with outdoor seating, where you can really enjoy the view and atmosphere. Pro tip: Ask for a Carajillo! It's a Mexican espresso cocktail that can be surprisingly hard to find done well. They have one here, and it was delicious, beautifully presented, and one of the highlights of the evening.

We can just bring out some olive oil instead with the bread" Us: "That would be awesome thank you" (Bread gets dropped off while we are reading the menu and its got butter instead of olive oil. No biggie) Server: "How's the bread?" Us: "We haven't had any. They haven't brought olive oil to the table yet" Server: "No problem" [Returns with olive oil] Us: "We're big fans of your Kumamoto oysters, but we have a little trouble with spicy food. Would it be possible to -" Server: [Interrupting] "No. I already know what your question is going to be, and the answer is no." Us: "Can we order oysters without any of your horseradish sauces?" Server: "No. All our oyster sauces pre-mixed with horseradish, and they cant make a new sauce just for you" Us: "Could we just have an order of the oysters with your migonette?" Server: "There's horseradish in that too, and you're not going to like it" (which is untrue - Migonette is not made with horseradish) Us: "OK well we'll keep looking over the menu for some options then. While we are looking things over, can we order the Trojan Sushi Roll without wasabi?" Server: "Will you be having any wine tonight?" Us: "Just the sushi for now please, we're going to look at the menu some more." Server: [Snatches the wine glasses off the table, and is clearly agitated] "Fantastic." Server returns with the sushi: "I went ahead and told the kitchen to take out the cilantro from the roll for you too. Did you guys want to take this to-go?" Us: "Why would we want the cilantro taken out? We just asked for the horseradish to be removed." Server: "You guys told me you cant handle spice and cilantro is pretty spicy to some people." Us: "We just wanted the wasabi left out. Everything else was fine." Server: "You know what, I'll just bring you some cilantro stalks, so you can decorate it yourself." Server comes back and drops a ramekin of micro greens in the middle of the table. I've waited tables myself for over 10 years, from diners to fine dining, and I wouldn't have dreamed of ever acting like that with a guest. At this point I spoke to the manager and he took the server off our table. The manager was very understanding and acted quickly to switch us to a new server, and they let us order the oysters with just the migonette. Even though the manager comped the oysters, and was trying to salvage our experience, our visit was pretty much ruined by that server. I've never been openly disrespected by a waiter like that before, and I've played the interaction out in my mind multiple times, and I still have no idea what made him crash out like that. Servers are the face and the personality of any restaurant. And to see a waiter get so openly hostile when someone is trying to I ever encountered a server who was even a fraction as rude as this guy was - he went from zero to hostile in a matter of seconds, and I still have absolutely no idea why.

They offer happy hour all day on Sundays, and since they don't take reservations, it's first come, first served. We arrived a little after 2 PM and there was plenty of open seating inside and out. This location is in the Spring District, which is super convenient if you're taking the light rail since it drops you off right there. It's located next to a park like plaza with a small grassy area and little water fountains. According to their website, kids are welcome in the restaurant and patio areas until 8 PM (but not in the bar area), which makes this a nice family friendly spot earlier in the day. Later on, the vibe seems like it would be perfect for catching a game, grabbing drinks with friends, and enjoying a more energetic brewery atmosphere. We started with two Moscow mules. Since that's one of our go to drinks and we've had quite a few, these weren't our absolute favorite here. They leaned more on the lime heavy side, and we weren't sure if the ginger beer was just a little flat. That being said, we still finished them! The Birria nachos were the highlight for me! They were so delicious, and the beer cheese sauce was SO good. I honestly just wished there was more of it because it added such a great flavor. My only small complaint is that I wish the toppings were spread out a little more evenly so every bite had a good mix, but overall they were still really tasty. The Mac Attack was also good, but it didn't completely wow us. If you're looking for an ultra thick, super creamy mac and cheese, this probably isn't that style. Still, it was a solid dish and enjoyable! Overall, we had a great first visit and would definitely come back to try more of the menu. Great location right in the heart of the Spring District with a fun atmosphere!
