We got to the restaurant on time to find it was completely dark bit the door was unlocked with tables set.for dinner. Not sire what happened there but wanted to make people aware it might be prudent to call to confirm they're actually open before you commute for dinner.

When I told my mom where we were going her reaction- "omg that place is still around?!? It use to be excellent back in the day!" Well I am happy to report this place is just as good today as it was during my mother's heyday. I decided to get a few oysters and clams to start off with and everything was just so fresh. As an entree the Seafood in a spicy red sauce was easily one of the best I have had in a very long time. There was a generous amount of seafood within the dish, the sauce I swear I could just drink it out of a cup and the pasta was cooked perfectly. My husband got the bbq ribs which I didn't try but you could see how they just slid right off the bone and he couldn't stop talking about how good they were. We ended our meal with some strong espresso. I enjoyed how it is a very casual atmosphere with a nice bar area that had a few TVs to watch some sports games. No need to dress to impress. The service was a little bit on the slower side but the waitress was very nice. The man who brought out my oysters, I asked him which were the east coast and which where in the west coast oysters, along with asking him where in the west coast my oysters were from and he couldn't tell me. I just think a place should just know these things is they are selling them. Nonetheless we still really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return.

The cashiers seem to frequently up-charge produce when listed prices by the product are lower. Ex: Vegetable is priced at 79c and cashier charged more. It may be only difference in cents but it is quality and principle that increases business. Transaction errors have encouraged me to see other grocery options

A friend passed her grilled scallops over to us to finish - I took one bite and it tasted like ammonia. I discreetly spat it out. For her sake, I hope the rest didn't taste like that. The atmosphere was loud and hard to have conversations. They did a conga line around the restaurant later in the evening. Not really my scene. Service was slow and it didn't seem like they could handle big groups, even when split up. We ended up staying here for about 3 hours. We ended up leaving before we were even offered dessert.
