The Good: This hotel is right on the beach and 15 min away from downtown Falmouth. Loved the fire pit to sit by at night! Free parking was nice too. The lobby is very pretty and I loved the hydrangeas out front. They put on Euro 2024 matches in the indoor pool for guests to watch The Bad: It is waaay too crowded. We were given red plastic wristbands to wear and I saw half the people on the beach didn't have them.. what was the point of booking a hotel with a "private" beach if half the lounge chairs are occupied by non-hotel guests. I saw staff waking around the beach and I expected them to be looking out for people without wristbands.. wrong. They didn't. We had to get beach chairs all the way in the back by the trash bins while non-hotel guests sat in the front row by the water. You can easily drive into the parking lot, walk onto the property and make your way to the beach or pool. There is no security or someone checking to make sure you're a hotel guest. We checked in early (which we knew) and waited at the beach for our room to be ready. We were told since we got here early we will be prioritized to get our room! Yay! Except that was a total lie. At 4:30pm we went to the front desk to see what was going on and told our room wasn't ready and itll be 10 more min.. After hesitating for a second the manager was like never mind we'll move your room to one thats ready.. Really confused why we weren't given that room to start with? It wasn't an upgrade, it was the exact same non-view room type that we booked. At check in we weren't given any information about the hotel and it was our first time here. We had no idea they had movie nights, activities, that we can reserve lounge chairs or anything. This place is very dingy and not well kept. The rooms are humid, the carpets look like they need a deep clean and overall the hotel doesn't seem well maintained. The whole 3 days we were here there was a huge puddle of water near the snack bar. No one wanted to take care of that? It's a huge hazard. The fridge in the room doesn't work and we found that out the hard way.. after a very upset stomach after eating food left in the fridge overnight. The only good thing is that they refunded us the resort fee after we mentioned the fridge not working at check out. Prices: For nearly $800 nightly rate plus $160 resort fee, you think we'd be staying somewhere really nice and well maintained. Wrong. Next time I'll find someplace that is clean and actually has a private beach instead of whatever version of "private beach" this was.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Please note that the Seacrest is under new ownership and has made renovations. No, it is not perfect however, it is a far cry from how other people have reviewed the property. Look at the photos, they tell the truth about this hotel. I loved that it is right on the ocean. The layout is very easy to navigate. It was quiet in December and I truly love it that way. I didn't bother with the pool coming from Florida where we have five pools in our community. I did go to eat breakfast in the restaurant and it was good. There are so many options for food in the Cape that i can't say I was amazed but oh that vuew. I could stay all day and sip tra looking out the windows. The room was plenty big. The bed was comfortable. The linens were clean and fresh. The view was okay. If you looked left, you could see the ocean. I booked online through Seacrest. It was just as good of a price as other websites. I asked for an upper floor and they delivered. The only downfall was that they have me an adjoining room. I never get one even when traveling with friends and family.

    multiple cracks in the tub

The room had mold and cracked and pitted walls. The bathroom toilet paper holder was barely hanging off the wall, the tub was cracked and had old dispenser brackets hanging inside the tub. I was scared to touch anything in the room, quite frankly. After paying a lot for the room to celebrate our anniversary, we were upcharged for parking and a resort fee, when it was off-season and there were no resort amenities to be had.

SeaCrest more like SEAHostel shanty of Falmouth , on way to check into room , after front desk calling to say room is ready which was not but wait to check me in holding bags! A slew of stains lined the hallway as if was a college dorm room followed by a dirty rug outside door which was suddenly decided to vacuum at 830 am sun morning. Bathroom pieced together poorly towel racks block of wood look like a clubhouse in a tree fort. So lets change rooms to another debacle as I attempt to open a window in 5am in morning to have it fall out and leaving me to repair place back in sill just what i want to do ,in the lock on other fell off and every screen was cut out pushed in etc. adjoining a roof is near so sure check me in early and watch my belongings be stolen.... A sandcastle in every window sill why reno a room and not the windows Im baffled , so we arrive back lets sit by the fire pit around 1030pm only to have sabor tooth lurch storm out as we start to sit amongst 6 others treated as we are 12yr olds & shuts it off saying as a BS Falmouth town Ordinance well I spoke to Fire Dept its BS along with the worst bar hotel as tv on floor of function room pathetic to say the least. Stayed 10 yrs ago a much better stay as to this time I came back later as to not even wanna be here it's so bad location on water is its only asset and was recently sold obviously not for the better ... be WARNED stay elsewhere

Staff was rude. Room had warped floors, peeling paint, and you could very easily see where they painted over mold in the shower.

Does anybody know a number that I could actually get through? We left a laptop there and we can not get through. We have tried multiple phone numbers, including the restaurants and none of them are working. Maybe they don't want people to

Despite the busyness of the nearby intersections and highways, it's a great place to stop for a walk&a picnic. There's the historic barn, built in 1775 by Joseph Crowell. The Farm got its identity from Lester Bourne Sr, whose family bequeathed the property for conservation. According to the Salt Pond conservation literature, nothing of note happened at Bourne Farm, but it does show daily life in the American Revolution era. There's a small fruit&vegetable garden. One can stroll among cranberry bogs. For outdoor dining, there's a small picnic area overlooking Crocker Pond. Bourne Farm has plenty of trails for hiking. It's no wonder Bourne Farm is often used as a wedding venue and an outdoor summer camp for kids. Beautiful place for fresh air.

Flowers, trees and orchards are scattered around the area as well as cool old stone walls that meander around the property. Behind the farm are hiking trails that go through the woods and in some cases over the walls. The Shining Sea Bike Path also crosses through the property on an old rail trail complete with a small tunnel so the cows could get under the track to reach their grazing fields. A huge pumpkin field is filled with large pumpkins in the fall and the farm has a cool pumpkin event complete with hay rides and other fun activities. The farm is a very popular and lovely place to rent out for weddings and other events and offers a lot of room in a very bucolic setting. There are tours of the farm on occasion but it's fun just to walk the paths and see the cool and ancient stone walls and all the crazy looking trees and pumpkin fields. An enjoyable place to spend some time any time of the year.

From the second we walked in, the whole place just had an amazing atmosphere. The ambience is honestly one of the best parts about dining here -- you've got that perfect Cape Cod waterfront vibe with the boats in the marina, the breeze coming off the water, and the way the light hits the harbor around sunset makes everything feel super relaxed but still special at the same time. It's the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your meal without feeling rushed, and just take in where you are. On top of that, our waitress Ashley gave us outstanding service. She was genuinely so nice and welcoming right from the start, constantly checking in on us without ever being overbearing. You can tell she really cares about making sure people are having a good experience. She answered all of our questions about the menu, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly. It's rare to get service that feels that attentive but still natural, and she really made our night better. And the food was amazing. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You could tell it was made with care and not just rushed out. Between the service, the ambience, and the quality of the food, this was easily one of the best dining experiences we've had in Falmouth. We'll definitely be coming back, and we hope to get Ashley again next time!

Where to start.. I ordered the spicy crabby & cucumber salad…read more& it was not only a huge portions but it was the best I've ever had! Seriously, if you follow me, you know that is a compliment! My drink was a dirty martini & it was a heavy pour & a decent drink. Again, not the best but very good. For the entree I wanted to order the sushi pizza.. yea you heard it right, I wouldn't have even considered it but by neighboring table got it & it looked FANTASTIC. However, I was away from home & did not want leftovers so I ordered the special sushi roll Crimson Tide & added Jalapeños. The Jalapeños were fresh & crispy, but did not lend any additional heat. I am a sushi snob, so it was not the best I've ever had, but it was decent. For most it would be good. The menu changes regularly, which was a little disappointing. It was different online, vs on Yelp vs in person & the prices were about $10 more than listed online, but overall, it wasn't a bad experience. I would recommend checking them out, just know it won't be cheap. I originally wanted the seared Tuna, but when I got here, it was halibut & it was $36 vs $22. I will include pics of the menu, but like I said, it's subject to change. OK, take this with a grain of salt. I would probably have made it a 4 vs 3 so I'm on the fence. Regan, my server explained that the additional $6 added to my $12 martini was not because it was a dirty martini, but because it was up vs on the rocks, so it was a bigger pour. It makes sense, but I have never seen this before.. make your own decisions.

It was a little surprising that a room with such a large common space would have two queen beds instead of a king bed, though. The staff, including housekeeping, did a great job making us feel like guests of honor all weekend long, with a bride and groom welcome setup and several refreshes of the room while we were away. We were also able to book one of the dog-friendly rooms at the last minute, in which my mom stayed with our dog. There was lots of green space on and off the property for our dog to explore on walks. The Coonamessett also hosted our morning-after-the-wedding buffet breakfast, which we coordinated through their special events team five months before the wedding. The food was pretty good, nothing special, but was a little on the pricier side (to be expected for a wedding-related event). Since they weren't hosting a wedding on-site that weekend, we were able to use the entire ballroom space. A couple hotel guests wandered in and grabbed a plate before we informed them it was a private event. The Coonamessett even opened the bar for our guests (my niece and nephew said the espresso martinis were good!).
