Also the beach chair reservations should be an option because it's ridiculous getting a chair! Need a better system for reserving lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Chairs were gone at 6:30am! Rooms were dirty and not cleaned well through the stay. Hair, old bathroom, dirty halls. Snack bar was slow. One hour for a lobster roll and Salad! Pool needs umbrellas on the patio, and more Lounge chairs Food was good at the restaurant but also slow. Waitress was great. Our stay at Seacrest Oceanfront Resort in Falmouth on June 20 was extremely disappointing and unfortunately continued a pattern of poor experiences we've had with this property. We arrived at 4:00 PM, the advertised check-in time, only to be told our room was not ready. This immediately made us late for a 4:00 PM party we had planned to attend. To avoid exactly this situation, I had called the hotel two days prior and requested an early check-in. Management assured me it would not be an issue, yet our room was still not available until after 4:30 PM. When we finally got into the room, we discovered it was not the room we had booked. We specifically reserved an oceanfront room with a king-size bed. Instead, we were given a second-floor ocean-view room with two double beds. When we brought this to management's attention, we were simply told that no oceanfront king rooms were available. At no point before arrival or during check-in did anyone notify us that the room we booked would not be honored. The condition of the room was equally unacceptable. The floors were covered in sand, the balcony was deteriorating, and the railings were stained and dirty. The bathroom floor was so filthy that we didn't even feel comfortable taking a shower. We found human hair and food debris behind and underneath the nightstands. The dresser draws were broke and not functional. For a hotel charging $735 per night plus fees, the cleanliness and maintenance standards were shocking. To make matters worse, this isn't our first negative experience here. On Valentine's Day earlier this year, we attempted to stay at the resort and our room wasn't ready until 10:30 PM on the day of check-in. There were approximately 30 other guests dealing with the same issue that night. Before posting this review, I reached out to the hotel directly and gave them an opportunity to make things right. They never responded. After one uncomfortable night, we checked out and moved to another hotel. Between the delayed check-in, failure to provide the room we reserved, filthy conditions, lack of communication, and complete absence of customer service, Seacrest Oceanfront Resort was a huge letdown. What's better than a Beach resort right on the it's own private beach located in Cape cod. The rooms are clean and updated with the nautical yet beach house feel. There's plenty to do such as an indoor pool, jacuzzi and an arcade. Currently it's their "off-season" so not all shops and restaurants are open in the month of April. Our stay was from May 16-18, 2026. Good news: the beach is fabulous, easy parking, easy access to bath towels, great sunset views from the beach, or even our second-floor patio in the "5' building. Lots of chaises on the beach. They just installed water showers for body and feet. It's nice to have a 5-cubic-foot refrigerator in the room, and a Keurig which died halfway through my second day of first coffee. Mediocre: not ready for the season as the pool was not ready, nor were many of the food amenities, except the main dining room. The breakfast buffet was ok, omelette making was solid, but very slow. Cooks did not have the proper tools to flip omelettes, using rubber scrapers, not proper 'hamburg' style flippers. I'd be ready to wait 5-6 minutes for every omelette. And the hotel was basically at 20% of capacity, max. think much longer in-season. Water was provided daily (2 Bottles), but nowhere was it documented where you could get ice and/or refill a Yeti with water. BTW, it's off the lobby next to the ATM machine. As seniors, we had to constantly fight for our $30/day credits for food/refreshments. It got old, and we are NOT complainers. The frint desk did not have the necessary tickets for us. Gift shop - sad. Very little to buy except coffee and perhaps a high-priced 'lunch-sized' snack like Doritos. The indoor pool seemed fine, but we did not use it, as the weather was too warm. Bad: Almost everything else. The breakfast stands for the Scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage served up at best warmish heat levels - food safety risk? FWIW, we did not get sick. But avoid if you like it hot. Coffee is from giant urns, very stale, and we ate as early as 9:15 on Monday!! (Their hours are from 8 to 11 am) . They'd be better off serving from carafes, especially at $23/person. Dorm/food service quality at best, and I am a college professor. The front office staff, from check-in to checkout, were poorly trained, to the point of being clueless. We wasted 20 minutes for each, when there was NO LINE at all. Each event required the desk supervisor to intervene. Really bad. I would NEVER leave your room unless wearing slides/sandals, etc. The main exit from the parking lot to "5" second floor had one of the dirtiest and most unattended carpeted steps that I have ever seen. totally filthy, with dirt and trash going up to a $270+ per night room. It needed not just a vacuuming, but a deep steam clean, years in the waiting. When they finally arrived to clean our room on Sunday near 6 pm, they didn't even replenish our coffee, nor the cups. On the cups, I'd bring your own, or small Yetis, and bring your own milk or cream. Coffee is all about plastic packaging for 'creamer' and 'sweetener'. Also, worn places on aspects such as doors are desperately in need of some attention and paint. And these are not in some weird, off-the-grid places. We are talking about the major bathrooms servicing the beach and outdoor spaces We ran into old friends who live in Falmouth and occasionally visit here. They remarked that once the "resort" fired its long-standing GM 2 or so years ago, everything has slipped and gotten more shoddy/worse. To think that this facility is somehow in the same hospitality group as the "Boston Harbor Hotel" is a total joke. While I get that the Cape gets expensive and crowded, I'd recommend the experience at places like Ocean Edge resort in Brewster, in the main building or annex. It costs a 1.7x, but if you like a true luxury experience, a bit better $$ for $$. read more

As a returning guest who loved this property, I expected the "resort standard" advertised. Instead, we experienced a total operational collapse, exhausting logistics, and a shocking lack of accountability from management. ​The Reality of Our Stay: ​10:30 PM Room Access: Although we checked in initially, the room was entirely incorrect. After an exhausting, hours-long game of room-shuffling by disorganized staff, we were not settled into a room until 10:30 PM. Even then, it was not the specific oceanfront room I had paid for eight months prior. ​Ruined Birthday Plans: Because we spent over three hours of our short weekend dealing with front desk errors, we completely missed our milestone birthday dinner reservations. We were forced to drive 30 minutes away and wait two hours for a walk-in table at a different restaurant. ​Exhausting Logistics: I had to personally haul our luggage back and forth to my car four separate times due to the hotel's room errors. ​Closed Amenities: For a property charging a mandatory resort fee, the amenities were lacking. Booked a one night stay in a suite in May before MDW. Arrived at 3pm to check in but room wasn't ready, and they guarantee 4 so wasn't a huge deal. Hung out by the beach and came back an hour later and had to wait behind 10+ people to be told my room still wasn't ready, but might be in an hour. Tons of people waiting in the lobby with luggage and mad faces told me otherwise! We waited again at the resort (instead of going out exploring because we were hoping to change and freshen up in our room). After two more times waiting in long lines, it was 6pm and our room still wasn't ready so we went out for dinner. We had wasted 3 hours of our one night vacation lingering for updates and were given nothing concrete. Didn't get a call that our room was ready until 8pm. Even if they were behind, suite rooms should have been prioritized or the other staff who was lingering around the resort doing seemingly not much should have jumped in to help. There was also seemingly no manager on site despite it being a busy Saturday night (sold out we were told!) Have followed up three times for some type of compensation for the delay and poor experience and gotten no replies. Suite was nice we got in (though not super clean), tv was old and standard cable with half channels missing. Before MDW meant only one restaurant any open and chairs on the beach with not much else. Hello Cletus, I am glad that you sent this message to allow me an opportunity to express my extreme disappointment during our entire stay at Sea Crest last weekend. We were given your information from the wedding party that had their event on Saturday and were also given other locations available to choose from but decided on Sea Crest based on its website. And after being there for just a very short time, we immediately knew that your site is highly falsified with pictures that are not close to their actual representation or suggestions that you have a friendly and professional staff. From the moment we walked onto the property we felt very uncomfortable as there was no one to greet us at the front counter for over 15 minutes all the while we were pacing in the lobby. There happened to be a man in the back room that clearly saw us while entering but he never came out to greet us so I had to ask him if I should just check ourselves in and he replied "no someone will be here shortly". Finally a very unpleasant man appeared which made us all feel even more uncomfortable as he was rude during the check in process which took quite a while. After, we were never given a tutorial on the layout of the property and we even had to ask him where the rooms were. Sadly there was not even an elevator to take us up to the 2nd floor so my girlfriend had to ask someone to help her with her bag being 50lbs and that person turned out to be one of your guests. I too had to have assistance after just having a total knee replacement six weeks ago. Sad that your bell person sitting behind the counter upon our arrival could not even ask us if we needed any assistance. Then while walking to our rooms we noticed piles of dirt, sand and trash bunched up along the baseboards and then unfortunately found the same thing lying on our floors in our bedrooms. My son had to take off his bedding as it had been soiled. The following day started off by meeting several rude employees that either worked behind the front counter or the outdoor bar area. This was consistent throughout our entire stay. I would like to say that you are either understaffed with people who do not want to work or that the property is not properly managed as several of these staff members could absolutely care less about doing their jobs. Many of them just stood around waiting to be told to do something when clearly there were many items that could be attended to that included bathroom upkeep, sweeping the docks and cleaning floors. I've been a business owner for over 30 years now and I have never met a group of employees who could care less about others and the jobs that they perform. However, you do have two very dedicated staff members in Leslie (Bar) and Jan (Gift Shop) that went over and above to make us feel like we were actually appreciated and I would highly recommend that you do something special for the them for doing their jobs at a high friendly level and professionalism. I would also like to make mention here that the floors and baseboards were finally cleaned in the hallway but not until during the last day of our stay. You also had a paint crew there on Friday that painted the baseboards in the front entrance and just another crazy observation was that they did not use any floor protection while doing this and I wouldn't be at all surprised if you don't see paint on your carpeting. So, I am writing this to you in hopes that you take serious notice of these many situations that happened to us during our short three night stay and to make some type of attempt to make this right. I would also hope that you correct these situations by having an immediate attitude adjustment with your staff in hopes that all of your future guests have a much more enjoyable stay while visiting Sea Crest than we did. Unfortunately, I have never heard back from Cletus (General Manager) since sending this exact email weeks before this review was written. I have also made several calls to his office leaving messages without any of them being returned. The Good: This hotel is right on the beach and 15 min away from downtown Falmouth. Loved the fire pit to sit by at night! Free parking was nice too. The lobby is very pretty and I loved the hydrangeas out front. They put on Euro 2024 matches in the indoor pool for guests to watch The Bad: It is waaay too crowded. We were given red plastic wristbands to wear and I saw half the people on the beach didn't have them.. what was the point of booking a hotel with a "private" beach if half the lounge chairs are occupied by non-hotel guests. I saw staff waking around the beach and I expected them to be looking out for people without wristbands.. wrong. They didn't. We had to get beach chairs all the way in the back by the trash bins while non-hotel guests sat in the front row by the water. You can easily drive into the parking lot, walk onto the property and make your way to the beach or pool. There is no security or someone checking to make sure you're a hotel guest. We checked in early (which we knew) and waited at the beach for our room to be ready. We were told since we got here early we will be prioritized to get our room! Yay! Except that was a total lie. At 4:30pm we went to the front desk to see what was going on and told our room wasn't ready and itll be 10 more min.. After hesitating for a second the manager was like never mind we'll move your room to one thats ready.. Really confused why we weren't given that room to start with? It wasn't an upgrade, it was the exact same non-view room type that we booked. At check in we weren't given any information about the hotel and it was our first time here. We had no idea they had movie nights, activities, that we can reserve lounge chairs or anything. This place is very dingy and not well kept. The rooms are humid, the carpets look like they need a deep clean and overall the hotel doesn't seem well maintained. The whole 3 days we were here there was a huge puddle of water near the snack bar. No one wanted to take care of that? It's a huge hazard. The fridge in the room doesn't work and we found that out the hard way.. after a very upset stomach after eating food left in the fridge overnight. The only good thing is that they refunded us the resort fee after we mentioned the fridge not working at check out. Prices: For nearly $800 nightly rate plus $160 resort fee, you think we'd be staying somewhere really nice and well maintained. Wrong. The good-- the bed was clean and fresh and comfy. I was in one of the updated rooms. Make sure you ask for that. Nice shower. Here we go: They sold me a room listed as "ocean view" with patio, for almost $400/night in October 2025. ha. The TV didn't work and we called the front desk and no one answered several times over the course of an hour ... they finally answered and sent a fellow over with no motivation who had no idea how to fix it. He left and said someone would be over the next morning. Nope. We tried to call the front desk again... no answer . We ended up tightening cables on our own, shutting everything down and rebooting several times --- and fixed it-- it happened repeatedly across our stay and had to keep messing with it to get it to work. When we went to discuss it at the desk, very politely, the woman couldn't care less. We also told her that someone without a handicap placard kept parking in the only handicap space near our room (I have a placard) and again-- she didn't care. We gave her the plate number . nope. zero care. Didn't even write it down. Younger woman with long brown hair. No bangs. The door for ladies room near lobby weighs a ton-- hard to get in as a disabled lady. Not user friendly for able bodied folks either! Staff in dining room rude . Here's a big one---the "ocean view" room--you'd have to leave your room walk down the side of the building and around the corner of the building in order to get an ocean view there's no ocean view happening from this room!!! RIP OFF!!!! I want some of my money back. The best thing about this resort is the proximity to the ocean. Don't come here if you expect to be treated with Customer Service or courtesy. read more

Posting my review here since (surprise, surprise) I've not heard a peep from management since I submitted this to the resort directly. This resort is $600+ per night. For this price, you'd think it goes without saying that previous occupants underwear shouldn't be in the bathroom and you'd have a reasonable expectation of no drain flies. We had both a strangers underwear and drain flies in our room. Staff was exactly 0% helpful or concerned. The only 2 high points of this hotel are the lantern room and the location on the beach (yall can't take credit for the ocean, though). I traveled with my partner who is disabled, and this is NOT somewhere I'd recommend for disabled travelers. I asked an employee if they knew how to go about using their beach wheelchair and her response was "I dunno. Sorry." And walked off. Same attitude from a person at the bar. It took 20-30 mins just to get someone who knew a thing about it. Again, a very nonchalant, unhelpful, annoyed attitude from the staff. Other guests were helping us more than the staff was! Owners and management should be utterly embarrassed about this experience. I will never stay here again. I will tell everyone I know what a sham this place is. Disabled guests deserve the exact same assistance as able bodied guests. I can't believe I actually have to say that!! I'm sure disabled guests make up a small percentage of your clientele, but it's how your team treats these guests that speaks volumes about your ethics and business practices. Front desk staff and bellboys are friendly and helpful. Free parking. Cons: The rooms are old, not updated, old AC that says it needs the vent cleaned which is sketchy to be breathing, smells musty, bathroom TP holder and towel rack falling off the walls, broken blinds. And wow is it dirty. There is a chunk of hair that has been in the stairwell leading to the upstairs rooms all 3 days I've been here. Would not recommend staying here. read more

Wow, just terrible customer service. I made a reservation, wasn't informed of their cancellation policy in advance that the penalty is an entire night's fee plus tax. My work (reason for travel) was changed outside my control. When I asked to speak with a manager because two people said they couldn't help me, they put me on hold for 10 minutes and hung up on me. When I called back, they immediately put me on hold for another 10 minutes and hung up on me a second time. I called back and would you believe I was hung up on a 3rd time? I then called back again and they just let it ring over and over. I finally got through to someone different and was told I was probably having trouble because the manager was busy at the front desk because it's check in time. She called over to the front desk for me and then came back to tell me that the manager had just left for the day...even though it was still busy check in time....which obviously doesn't make sense. They offered to move the date one time for me (after over an hour and I had to ask) but that I'd have to pay the difference. I was close to doing that, but I honestly just couldn't stomach giving them more money after the way I was treated. I can't imagine how they think that's ok. read more

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Please note that the Seacrest is under new ownership and has made renovations. No, it is not perfect however, it is a far cry from how other people have reviewed the property. Look at the photos, they tell the truth about this hotel. I loved that it is right on the ocean. The layout is very easy to navigate. It was quiet in December and I truly love it that way. I didn't bother with the pool coming from Florida where we have five pools in our community. I did go to eat breakfast in the restaurant and it was good. There are so many options for food in the Cape that i can't say I was amazed but oh that vuew. I could stay all day and sip tra looking out the windows. The room was plenty big. The bed was comfortable. The linens were clean and fresh. The view was okay. If you looked left, you could see the ocean. I booked online through Seacrest. It was just as good of a price as other websites. I asked for an upper floor and they delivered. The only downfall was that they have me an adjoining room. I never get one even when traveling with friends and family. read more

There is no Netflix/Prime options for late night, the hot water never lasts long, the blond chick at the cafe is a brainless idiot, who won't part with spoons/forks/knives, she thinks they are blocks of uranium. I was absolutely disgusted with my stay at SeaCrest Beach Resort this past week. The condition of this facility is appalling, and calling it a "resort" is nothing short of false advertising. From the moment I walked in, the first impression was dreadful: dark brown carpeting in the hallways that looks decades old, stained, and clearly not maintained or even vacuumed. Housekeeping was practically nonexistent--arriving in the late afternoon, half-making beds (only one of two in my room was ever touched), removing used towels but never replacing them, and failing to replenish basic necessities like soap or shampoo. The bathroom was the worst I've ever seen in a hotel. The shower was coated in mold and rust from the ceiling to the drain, including the towel rack. Green paint splatters covered the shower, toilet, and counters and had obviously never been cleaned. It was so filthy I avoided using the shower for multiple days. The outdoor pool area was equally disgraceful. A shattered glass enclosure sat dangerously in place all week, haphazardly "repaired" with duct tape. My so-called "ocean view" was nothing more than a lineup of enormous, rusting AC units on a decrepit rooftop--no attempt at all to mask or improve the eyesore. Accessibility is nonexistent. My handicapped father was assigned a room on the third floor of a building with no elevator. When we asked the front desk for help moving him, we were met with a cold, dismissive "no." The staff, mostly young college kids, were rude, untrained, and clearly uninterested in providing even basic courtesy to guests. To top it off, the cost of this stay was more than I've paid for genuine five-star hotels. Instead, what we endured was comparable to the conditions of a low-grade European hostel. **Do not book this hotel. Run far, far away.** This place is a disgrace to Cape Cod and to anyone who values cleanliness, hospitality, or honesty. read more

SeaCrest more like SEAHostel shanty of Falmouth , on way to check into room , after front desk calling to say room is ready which was not but wait to check me in holding bags! A slew of stains lined the hallway as if was a college dorm room followed by a dirty rug outside door which was suddenly decided to vacuum at 830 am sun morning. Bathroom pieced together poorly towel racks block of wood look like a clubhouse in a tree fort. So lets change rooms to another debacle as I attempt to open a window in 5am in morning to have it fall out and leaving me to repair place back in sill just what i want to do ,in the lock on other fell off and every screen was cut out pushed in etc. adjoining a roof is near so sure check me in early and watch my belongings be stolen.... A sandcastle in every window sill why reno a room and not the windows Im baffled , so we arrive back lets sit by the fire pit around 1030pm only to have sabor tooth lurch storm out as we start to sit amongst 6 others treated as we are 12yr olds & shuts it off saying as a BS Falmouth town Ordinance well I spoke to Fire Dept its BS along with the worst bar hotel as tv on floor of function room pathetic to say the least. We've been coming here for years, so I'm favorable about the location, beach and facilities, however the new owners need to make some changes for us to return. Like the recent changes around the complex (beach furniture, small marketplace, dining room/bar), but it doesn't justify the below average rooms and OUTRAGE prices being charged per night and for meals/beverages. This is not a 5 star full service resort, yet they're charging $700 per night (room / fees), in addition to overly priced drinks ($17/drink) and meals (4x the price), all of which excludes tipping on every receipt. Rooms need a serious uplift, bathrooms are tiny, paint chipping, doors won't open/close, don't look in the closets, which also lack safes in rooms. On a positive not, the Service staff is quite cordial and willing to assist, whenever they can. The new owners made a significant investment to acquire/renovate the complex, but they need to be reasonable and not try and recover all of it at once, through elevate prices and reduced service. read more

They can't take credit for the ocean. That's the only positive about this hotel, beautiful Old Silver beach. We split our vacation between two hotels, one was 145$ a night and this was 400+. For the money I'd take the motel any time. It was cleaner and the staff was attentive. We are return customers at the sea crest but will not come back. I didn't want anything except to share my feedback with manager Jay. They sent an email asking how the stay was, with no way to reply. I've left messages and no response. They don't want to know how messy it was. Seems a little ridiculous to ask for feedback and ignore you. read more

We've been coming here for almost a decade and the experience has definitely diminished over the years. The property hasn't been kept up and the room cleanliness leaves much to be desired. We love Falmouth and the hotel is in a great location, it just should be better than it is, especially for the price. read more

I have stayed here 3 times. First time we had moldy wet rugs, second time we had the water shut off while in the shower and the fire alarm go off at 5am, and 3rd time we lost power during dinner time for 5 hours. Never many people at the front desk and no discount for inconvenience or even want to make happy. Go someplace cheaper. It is not worth the money! read more

Sea Crest Beach Hotel gets a 4 star mainly for its location on Old Silver Beach. The hotel itself could use some refreshing especially in common areas. Red's restaurant has good food and drinks and the staff is great. My daughter is in a wheelchair and the doors to the bathroom are super narrow for no reason, there is a lot of wall space. The beach wheelchairs are awesome though! There is also a great market a mile away! read more

So we booked here as this was the location of a conference and basically thought it would make life a bit easier and more pleasant. You know what the three rules of real estate are: location, location, location. Well, this place is right on a beach in Buzzard's Bay and that is the upside to this place The room for the conference ran about $250 per night plus it looked like we were going to be charged a resort fee. That did not happen but I would have argued it since no amenities were available as this was out of season. The room was meh and we were overcharged almost $100/night in comparison with the rates I saw online just after our stay. We stayed for three nights. No service to the room (no trash removal, no towel or coffee replenishment, no bed making). Breakfast was either a $15 continental buffet or a $25 full breakfast buffet. More reasonable grab and go items were available between 7 and 8 am only. I accompanied someone to the conference so I couldn't even get a cup of coffee as it was for conference members only. The nearest place for a real coffee is a few miles up the road. I was unable to get a late checkout even though the conference did not end until 12:30 so I had to pack out and hang around with a bunch of other plus ones for a couple of hours. Gave it a two stars simply because it is right on the ocean. The resort is large and rundown. The lobby is nice and updated but the hallways ar rundown, dirty, and the wallpaper is peeling. Our room, king bed, was large. The bed was decently comfortable. The bathroom was old and dirty. The real drawback is that it is one of those hotels were you can hear everything. We heard the lady next door talk on the phone for an hour. Word for word - we could hear the whole conversation. Every person walking in the hallway sounds like they are in your room. For reference, we stayed in building 7. I am not sure how the other buildings compare..but this one is one we will never return too. For the price we paid, we would have been better off staying in a smaller motel for a fraction of the price. read more

We were expecting an amazing stay at the Seacrest. Which we did not receive nor did any of the other guest that traveled with us. It is NOT worth the stay. $500 a night while they nickeled and dime you to death (not even and ocean view, loud in the halls) Some examples: no iron in the room, could not call down for one because the phone did not work, once the iron was brought after I walked to the front desk to ask for it...it was broken and soaked my entire dress, bathroom door did not shut, toilet handle broken, air conditioner did not work. When inquiring about an iron It took them 15 minutes to find one and over an hour to fix the AC. Don't eat or drink on the property, extremely costly for nothing. The best service we received was in the tiny, loud bar from an older bar tender and the woman at the front desk that followed up on the iron. If you are staying here for the beach, still not worth it. I'm sure you could find a public beach to enjoy the view, with out the ridiculous cost for nothing. read more

It's a great view.... That's about it. They willfully are falsely advertising cable on their site and that if all travel partner sites(Travelocity, Expedia etc). They don't have cable what they have is rabbet ear antennas essentially or todays version of that which is digital antennas. Their own maintenance guy came to our room and told us that they are fully aware they are lying by saying they have cable, he said he's even asked them to take it down. On top of that, the window in our rooms broken, the top sash falls down with almost no way to get it back and locked. Half the property is under construction, by a crew who OSHA would love to find. Parking lots filled with screws and nails, not to mentions tens of thousands in materials. As a project manager myself if I ever let a site look like I'd be fired and fined in an instant and for good cause.Travelocity is also a willing participant in this lie. After calling them, it's clear they don't care about customers or making sure they don't have false info on their site as well. Good on you Travelocity. read more

We stayed last month for our 25th wedding anniversary. We selected the Sea Crest Beach Hotel based on its location. Apparently that is the only thing it has going for it. Service - Poor. When we checked in I noticed the fridge was not cooling and the freezer was frozen over. I called the front desk, notified them of the issue and was treated as if I was stupid. When I asked for them to have maintenance removed and replace our fridge, the front desk told me to simply turn the fridge down to 3 and it would work. When I tried to explain why that was a bad idea, I was spoken to as if I was a child. We spent the next 24 hours cleaning up the water as it leaked out of the fridge. Day one - we were gone most of the day and didn't return until after 5. When we returned our room had not been cleaned. We didn't have any clean towel because we had used them all to wipe up the water that was coming out of the defrosting fridge. When I called the front desk, I was told they were really busy today and they were sorry. Furthermore if I wanted clean towels, I was welcome to come to the front desk and pick some new ones up. Day two - again we were gone most of the day and found our room had not been taken care of. When I called the front desk and expressed my frustration, they sent a nice woman whom I believed was a housekeeping supervisor. I shared with her our fridge issues, including the MOLD that I discovered in the fridge when it finally defrosted. I will include those in this post. She took photos of the mold as well, had our room cleaned and got a new fridge - sadly it had MOLD in it as well - just not as much. The rest of our trip was about the same. I would have to make daily trips to the front desk to pick up reg coffee as housekeeping thought we only drank breakfast tea or decaf - despite asking for just reg coffee. The room itself was dated, dirty and showed that management had a complete lack of concern for their property. The attached photos show outdated finishes, incomplete construction, mold in the fridge and shower, lazy construction and dirty baseboards in open view areas....I wish I would have taken pics of the towels when I was wiping up the leaking fridge - they were black with dirty and only God knows what. Summary - As someone who owns a 3/3 condo overlooking the Monterey Bay in California, I can say that this property is grossly over priced sadly neglected. Management and staff should be ashamed of how they conduct themselves and their lack of pride in their work. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

The only perk about here is that it's beach front. We did stay here once before about 7 years or so ago. We thought maybe it has changed and would be better now. So we thought we would give it a try..... We had ants in our room when we came back from going to dinner. I went to the front desk and asked for the 4 of us to be moved to another room. The rooms have damage to them. The price you pay for this hotel is not worth it at all we paid $420 a night. Luckily we decided to only stay 1 night. The pool is dirty there were candy wrappers in it and popcorn that looks like someone had spilled it outside of the pool that then blew in. I will say the rooms are a good size but not worth the money. This was the first time we took our kids to the Cape and the unfortunate part was they were asking when we were leaving with in 2 hours of us being here. Our room before the one the front desk moved us to smelled like sewage and it definitely was high or low tide since it smelled like that since we arrived. We couldn't shut the closet door since the rollers weren't on the tracks. Overall a very disappointing trip we had higher expectations staying here. I thought they would really step it up with these issues but Jennifer at the front desk (I'm assuming manager) didn't seem to care that much at all. I can tell you we wont be recommending this hotel or staying here again especially for the price you pay. After having gone through everything we did you would think they would throw in a free breakfast or something. Having to move my 2 young kids at 10pm to another room. read more

I have to say, I found our hotel room to be quite awful. The AC didn't work well and everything was remarkably sticky. The paint was flaking off the walls. The ceiling tiles were filthy. The carpet was taped down with duct tape on some of the edges because it was otherwise curled up. The hooks fell off the bathroom walls. One of the sheer curtains was entirely missing. The refrigerator cabinet didn't close. The peep hole insert was missing. There were large hairs stuck to the bathroom door when we arrived. It was a really unpleasant experience. Also, hysterically, I received a generic email from GM Jay Sheldon that, among other things, says "If there is anything I can assist you ...please do not hesitate to reach out," and "We wish to welcome you back in the future. Until then, you are invited to stay in touch with me directly by replying to this message." The message comes from the address "noreply@seacrestbeachhotel.com." As the email address suggests, it is, in fact, a no-reply situation and my email bounced back as undeliverable. If I didn't know better I'd think the don't, in fact, want feedback! read more

I think these owners need to focus on the rooms and the plumbing before they decide to charge me and you $27.00 for an old fashion plus 500-1000 a night for a room. Beach is awesome everything else is way overpriced . It started to thunder and lighting and they made everyone on the beach leave and go inside. But you could hang out by the pool and outdoor bar ... this will be the last time I stay here. read more

Nice location easy to get to over the bridge. Outdated rooms. Bed was worn out and uncomfortable. There was an occasional leak in the bathroom ceiling that dripped into the toilet. We told the front desk and they said that the room above us must have not put their shower curtain in. Still leaked occasionally the next day. Vent in the bathroom had lots of dust and grime on it. Room had a lot of clothes/towel hooks, which is good, and which you don't see a lot these days. Restaurant is ok but doesn't have a lot of choices. Staff won't put up umbrellas on the beach on windy days, which is understandable, but there should be some permanent covered area for those who want to be on the beach but not in the sun all day. read more
