We had such a great experience at The Flying Bridge Restaurant in Falmouth that I felt like I had to come on here and talk about it. From the second we walked in, the whole place just had an amazing atmosphere. The ambience is honestly one of the best parts about dining here -- you've got that perfect Cape Cod waterfront vibe with the boats in the marina, the breeze coming off the water, and the way the light hits the harbor around sunset makes everything feel super relaxed but still special at the same time. It's the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your meal without feeling rushed, and just take in where you are. On top of that, our waitress Ashley gave us outstanding service. She was genuinely so nice and welcoming right from the start, constantly checking in on us without ever being overbearing. You can tell she really cares about making sure people are having a good experience. She answered all of our questions about the menu, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly. It's rare to get service that feels that attentive but still natural, and she really made our night better. And the food was amazing. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You could tell it was made with care and not just rushed out. Between the service, the ambience, and the quality of the food, this was easily one of the best dining experiences we've had in Falmouth. We'll definitely be coming back, and we hope to get Ashley again next time! read more

Where to start.. I ordered the spicy crabby & cucumber salad & it was not only a huge portions but it was the best I've ever had! Seriously, if you follow me, you know that is a compliment! My drink was a dirty martini & it was a heavy pour & a decent drink. Again, not the best but very good. For the entree I wanted to order the sushi pizza.. yea you heard it right, I wouldn't have even considered it but by neighboring table got it & it looked FANTASTIC. However, I was away from home & did not want leftovers so I ordered the special sushi roll Crimson Tide & added Jalapeños. The Jalapeños were fresh & crispy, but did not lend any additional heat. I am a sushi snob, so it was not the best I've ever had, but it was decent. For most it would be good. The menu changes regularly, which was a little disappointing. It was different online, vs on Yelp vs in person & the prices were about $10 more than listed online, but overall, it wasn't a bad experience. I would recommend checking them out, just know it won't be cheap. I originally wanted the seared Tuna, but when I got here, it was halibut & it was $36 vs $22. I will include pics of the menu, but like I said, it's subject to change. OK, take this with a grain of salt. I would probably have made it a 4 vs 3 so I'm on the fence. Regan, my server explained that the additional $6 added to my $12 martini was not because it was a dirty martini, but because it was up vs on the rocks, so it was a bigger pour. Went with a few friends on the 3rd of July and it was packed! We waited about an hour and a half for a table (30 mins longer than expected) but we knew that would be the case. We grabbed a drink at the outdoor bar and waited. The restaurant itself and outdoor area is right on the water. If we had to wait, at least we had a view and a cocktail! We ordered a few sushi rolls and dockside (fried haddock) sandwich and it did not disappoint ! The food was very fresh and came out quickly which we appreciated after waiting. I will say the restaurant itself was chaotic with how busy it was but it was a holiday weekend. If you are looking for fresh seafood in Falmouth, I would give it a try. read more

We were staying in Hyannis for a couple of days and drove over to this restaurant for dinner on Friday. It is in a beautiful location next to the marina. The restaurant has plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for one of the outdoor tables within the plastic enclosure. It was perfect and had a nice view of the boats. The menu is extensive with plenty of appetizers, salads, handhelds, entrees, and sushi options. I started with a cup of the clam chowder soup and it was very hot and tasty. For my entree I had the pan seared haddock. It came with lobster ravioli, oyster mushrooms, and green beans with a lobster bisque sauce. It was a beautiful and tasty dish. My husband had the fried fisherman's platter. It had Cod, shrimp, scallops, and clams, as well as french fries and coleslaw. It was a very generous and delicious dish. We had a late lunch here that encompassed impeccable service and delicious food. I had a fish sandwich that had cheddar, avocado, lettuce & tomato with perfectly crisped fries, my husband the fish & chips. Adult kiddos, burgers, and another fish sandwich all great. We shared a massive plate of perfect onion rings to start. I had a raspberry limoncello spritzer that was refreshing. We were too full for dessert. We came expecting a fairly nice dining experience given the extremely expensive pricing but that was not at all the case. Atmosphere is cheap pub: paper napkins, drinks served in pint glasses, servers who held the rim of the glasses with their fingers, generally shabby decor. At least the food was amazing right? I won't be back. I specifically asked if the lobster roll could be made warm with butter instead of lobster salad with mayonnaise. The server told me no, so I settled for a mediocre steak tips dish. While eating, I watched the table next to us receive exactly what I had requested--two warm, buttered lobster rolls. When I asked about it, I got one excuse about the kitchen being too busy to ask the chef, followed by another explanation that didn't make any sense. If you can accommodate a request, be honest. If you can't, that's fine--but don't tell a customer it's impossible when you're serving the exact item to the table next to them. Poor service, poor communication, and a disappointing meal. I stopped in here after the cape cod half marathon and thought it would be packed but it was one of the only restaurants in town that wasn't and I don't know why! The view of the marina it was next to was gorgeous, we sat out on the patio and enjoyed the ocean. The service was great very quick and good at catering to our party's seafood allergy. We got onion rings as an appetizer and the portion was HUGE our table of 7 had a hard time finishing it and they were good, heavily battered in a good way and nice and crunchy without the breading flaking off. I also got the kitchen sink sushi roll and it was jam packed with flavors and toppings. I really liked the roe and charred salmon ontop it was full of texture and you definitely got your fill on every fish option available on the cape. Would probably be my go to order when I go again-but definitely not the light meal sushi normally is! read more

This place is mostly a winner. It's huge and can turn out food quickly. It's got a gorgeous outside patio and bar (and HUGE) so we enjoyed one of those evenings in the summer when you want it to last. And many of the dishes we had were really good. I loved my whole belly clams; they tasted fresh, weren't too greasy fried, and weren't too pungent as some can be. The fries were forgettable; basically the frozen kind you see when places serve a lot of them. The warm lobster rolls were expensive ($40!!) but were quite good as well but for $40 you could do a little better than a bag of Cape Cod chips for a side. We also loved the Flying Bridge sushi rolls with lobster, shrimp and a good wrap. The drinks were a mixed bag. The passion fruit margarita seemed to be missing, well, passion fruit. The pineapple old fashioned seemed to taste, well, non-pineapple. We had better luck with the pina colada. Our server was also just ok. He didn't clear plates, took forever to check on us and refill water, and overall just lacked that certain care that you'd like waitstaff to have. Next time, we would definitely order Onion Rings and yes, we will definitely be back. A bit touristy? Sure. But we're enjoying a trip up here -- pamper us. read more

Nice place to by the water to stop by for some fresh seafood. They have an indoor and outdoor seating with a bar in each area. We started off with the calamari which was nicely fried and tasted like fresh unfrozen calamari. Then we had the seafood platter. The scallops were juicy and sweets. The cod was a nice thick piece. Clams were fresh and well fried. The French fries were also really crispy. Service was quick. Overall a nice place for some fried seafood. read more

I don't understand why the service is so bad we had 10 people at 4 pm before it got busy. I kept clearing out table of empty glasses & dishes putting on the empty tray near us. Had to flag down the server for drinks & remind when he forgot some. Then desert was served with no folks he had no problem remembering the check though. A Memory Maker! My wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at The Flying Bridge on October 19, 2025 and it couldn't have been any better! Mike, the coordinator was friendly, flexible and communicated everything we needed to know. The venue has been renovated and just sparkled, with new furniture, spectacular views of the marina and a pleasant, hard working crew. Food to rave about. Great bartender. And the charges were quite reasonable, no nickel and dime extras. It made for a memorable event. Loved everything about the place and people. read more

Eh? Had fish n chips and clam chowder. It was fine. Nothing special. Piping hot. Amazing customer service. Nice location. Food was just eh. Fries were dry and starchy - almost choked on one. Fish was 3 small pieces with a bready not batter covering. It was crispy and had some flavor but the fish tasted like it had been frozen. Also very dry. My son says his cheeseburger was really good. The view at The Flying Bridge Restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Sitting by the water, you can see the boats gently moving and feel the fresh ocean breeze. THE scenery alone makes this place special it's peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a nice meal. What made the experience even better was our water, Glenn. he was very friendly, professional, and attentive. He greeted us with smile, made sure we were comfortable, and checked on us at the right time without being overwhelming. He explained the menu clearly and gave great recommendations, which really helped us enjoy our meal. overall, the service and the beautiful location made this a great experience. The amazing stuff that work both in the the dining and function room are very good top notch. I dine often and have attended many events I find it alarming the function staff does not restive tips from the very hard work. Instead of the upper management putting it in their pockets shame on them .those hard working don't deserve that. The staff there is always working so hard for them in such tough times of the year the least the do give them the tip they deserve and earn. Anyway aside from that food and drinks and everything else great. Just treat your staff better. The onion rings are the best piled high and bang bang shrimp delicious. read more
