I headed to REI Co-op, a store that I frequently shopped in Baltimore. It's located in Indigo Square near the Town Centre in Mount Pleasant. There's plenty of parking ... the interior is well lit ... and the sales floor is well stocked. I knew what I wanted after browsing their website. My goal was to establish the size and place the order as I wanted a particular Columbia hooded down jacket in a trendy tobacco color. I was approached quickly, tried on a few Columbia jackets and within minutes, the friendly and very helpful sales associate placed the order. In three days, my jacket arrived. It is perfect and arrived just in time for the 32 degree temperature forecasted for tomorrow. REI should be your 'go to' for everything you need for your outdoor activities ... fishing, skiing, hunting, hiking, etc., ... accessories, too. Selections are available at all price points, whether you 're looking for value (chose REI branded merch) or 'bells and whistles.'

I had a Patagonia nano puff jacket that was a gift a few years ago (from this location). After a fall on my bike, I tore up the elbow pretty good. To my surprise, you can manage your warranty with Patagonia right in store. I brought the jacket in, filled out a form, and they took care of the rest. They then send it out to a network of repair people and my jacket came back looking good as new. The whole process was super easy and is one of the value adds you get from shopping local.

Pleasant area area that rent wet suits, but I'm glad we found Air. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They answered our questions, helped us secure the gear to our car, and even let us borrow some extra cables. The gear itself, especially the wetsuits, were all high quality items and in excellent condition. And because we were renting in the off season, we were offered some great long term/ group rental discounts. Surfing at folly beach and isle of the palms was excellent, and Air made it all possible.

I would assume they have stayed in business because they offer quality work at reasonable prices and have a great reputation with the locals. I took my trailer to Firestone to have the tires balanced and they told me I need a $450 wheel bearing replacement. I took it to Henry's for a second opinion.. They looked at it and said there's nothing wrong with your wheel bearings they just need to be greased.. I am thankful there are still some honest people left in the world.. I would highly recommend Henry's sports and trailer repair to everyone. I know if I want something done right Henry's is where I am going to go.!
