So from the outside this place doesn't look like much, but I do think it was worth a view. I don't know if I would pay twenty dollars however, we did do a ten dollar upgrade after going to lego land and that's why I felt like it was worth it even more. Parking, so this is in the mall so you're gonna expect to find the same parking. You're going to find with mall parking. What to see: so this place is deceiving when we first walked in. I kind of thought it was going to be a scamp and I was pleased to see that there was multiple different fish tanks and they seemed like they were all in good repair. There was a turtle area as well. That I thought was pretty cool but only half worked. Anyway, we were having a good time and it was not very crowded. But there was one family that just allowed three screaming.Children to go through and we had to wait in order to let them get far enough ahead because of how disruptive they were. The one gripe I would say is the staff didn't seem to care even though the signs on all the fish tanks indicate to be quiet and not do flashes with cameras... Facilities: they had a gift shop which wasn't too expensive. But we did not end up buying anything, and we did need to use the bathroom upstairs. They were kind enough to let us back in when my son realized a second that we walked outside that he had to go potty. Anyway overall I'm glad that we went.

What an amazing aquarium! Loved the turtle exhibit! We were really impressed, while we noted the ratings were high, after our experience with the aquarium in St.Louis, we did not have high hopes for an aquarium attached to a mall. We were surprised!

This is a two story aquarium inside the Grapevine mall. You can buy tickets either to this area by itself or you can add the Legoland and/or the Pepe the pig play area if you want to expand your day of adventures. Today we just had time to do the aquarium so that is what we chose. A single ticket for the aquarium runs about $25 per adult. When you select your ticket, you will also select a time for entering into the aquarium. This allows a steady flow throughout the facility without getting too backed up. You entering on the first floor and as you proceed through the different areas and different tanks, you have lots of learning experiences to spend time with as well. Kids have small areas where they can get into as well that are different than where the parents can get into and they are able to pop up their heads inside the aquarium from underneath. These are great photo areas. At the end of the first floor there's either stairs or an elevator to get to the second floor as you continue proceeding through that level. When you're all done, you will exit back out of another elevator or stairs back into the mall through a gift store.

Came here slightly skeptical once i saw it was located inside the mall. Thinking that my $20 ticket wasn't going to feel worth it. I was wrong. This was a nice aquarium and a very good size with an upstairs location. They have a lot of sea life to view and felt like the Atlanta aquarium, on a much smaller scale, but with some of the same totes if attractions ie the tunnel of fish you can walk through in the Atlanta aquarium.

Definitely cute little aquarium. Didn't expect it to be attached to a mall however that part came in clutch considering I needed something fast to eat after. The aquarium has a significant amount of fish in every room. They even have a room where you can touch some of the sea life. The price point is okay $19.99 per person. I was lucky enough to purchase through my work discount site & was able to get $2 off. Sometimes a little goes a LONG way :)

As a first time guest from out of town, I was really impressed by this aquarium. Sea Life experience was worth the visit!! Interesting it's inside a mall. Get your tickets online to avoid the lines and wait time. You can find promo codes for general tickets, too bad not for combo tickets. Applaud to the employees who were friendly, welcoming and made the experience worth the visit. One thing, is the virtual ride for one employee to mann the ride. It was kind of disorganized and hard to manage for one person. Poor guy but he did his best!! Thank you for wiping down seats and VR goggles! Park closest to the AMC theatre parking lot. It's right next to the entrance.

Super cool experience for the kiddos. We got to learn a lot and our baby was amazed at all the fishes. Great activity to keep them entertained.

Fantastic place for a family outing or fun day date. Order tickets online to pick your perfect entry time or use handy kiosks located directly in front of the entrance. The aquarium was well stocked with many fish varieties and very clean. My personal favorite was the sea turtles.

Pretty solid aquarium in Grapevine Mills. It took us about 1 hour to to see everything with a toddler. They do have a decent amount to see though some areas can get crowded. We got our tickets discounted with rewards but I don't think it would be worth it to pay full price. The gift shop is pretty solid with lots of unique animals and fish that aren't too expensive.

After reading a few reviews I was a bit skeptical! Gosh was I wrong. This aquarium sitting in the middle of a discount mall is amazing. They focus on endangered and threatened sea life. Every display is labeled and explained. It is definitely built for everyone!

Is this aquarium geared more toward kids?

Yes, but my husband and I both enjoyed it. No kids and we're in our 30s.

About how long did you stay?

We were there about 2 hours - but we were 3 adults with no kids with us.

It's just fish behind glass mostly but they do have a touch pool which wasn't too crowded which was nice.

At times it gave me a bit of a "been there, seen that" feeling, like they pulled some of the most popular concepts from past installations and reimagined them here. But even with that, I still had a really good time. The execution is so well done, and there's something fun about recognizing pieces from other locations and seeing how they've been adapted. It's still incredibly immersive, visually impressive, and just a genuinely cool experience to walk through. It may not have had the same "wow, I've never seen this before" feeling as my first visit, but it's still absolutely worth going - and I'd still give it 5 stars without hesitation!

My husband and I needed a fun activity to do together (without the kids) for our 18th wedding anniversary and I decided it looked neat enough to go to, even if it was mainly just an immersive art experience. I was 1000% wrong. It is way, way more than that. It is intense and entertaining and intriguinging and kept our attention and interest for nearly 3 hours on our extended date. We felt a bit like kids again, and there was even more of the experience that we didn't fully explore in that timeframe. It's hard to explain without giving away spoilers but it was incredibly interesting and multifaceted and immersive, but not directly as an art exhibit as much as like you are in a storyline in an Alice in Wonderland-like world with multiple dimensions and most everything is interactive. Touch everything, push the buttons, open the doors and drawers and cabinets, cause there are hidden treasures and such at every turn. The employees were wonderful. No one broke character, they were just as present as you'd want them to be (they're there in part to answer questions and help with whatever is needed), and they all were welcoming. One in particular stood out - Reinhart. I didn't know it until after we exited the experience but they're the manager at the location. That doesn't surprise me because they were a role model for how the staff there should interact with the people attending the experience. They may all do that too truly, but I can only speak directly about this manager as we crossed paths with them so many times. There was a group of elementary-aged kiddos who were clearly having the time of their lives and part of that was due to Reinhart's interactions. The kids would treat them as a customer in their game of "Restaurant", ask them to be a member of their audience as they performed on the stage for them, invite them to walk around with them throughout the different areas of the experience, etc. They stayed in character and interacted with the kids on their level, never seeming bored or inconvenienced, and always game for whatever they wanted of them. They were definitely invested in the kids having the ultimate experience that day and I'm certain they did, in large part due to the way Reinhart enhanced the experience for them throughout their time there. When we left (shortly after the group of kids) they were already at the register helping out and being readily available for the customers in the gift shop. They definitely fulfill the spirit of the place and made it even more fun for us just by being around their great interactions with the kids. Cost: Worth it. 100%. To be clear, I am a pretty cheap person, which is why I had deferred taking my 2 kiddos to it even though they were interested. I didn't want to spend that much money on what I thought was a nice but fairly straightforward art experience but now that we truly understand what it is we will DEFINITELY be bringing them back, as well as our girl scout troop. We're also gonna have my kids upcoming birthday party here too, her request. My only regret is just buying one time tickets and not buying my hubby and I the membership, as it pays for itself after only 2 visits and we will definitely want to go to this and other Meow Wolfs later this summer. They have multiple locations across the US and each one has a different experience/storyline/exhibits, so it's worth going to any of them your near as they aren't all the same. We will likely get our kids the membership when we take them soon. There is an integrated snack shack in the experience and the prices aren't bad, better than a lot of places we've gone to in the past. You can't bring outside food and drink but they do have water stations to fill up an empty bottle at, if you bring one. To summarize - 10/10, highly recommend, will go again, cheapskate approved!!!
