We booked the Thursday Night Fireworks Cruise on 7/16 based on the online description advertising a 1-hour cruise from 9:00-10:00 p.m. aboard the Sea Rocket. We've ridden the Sea Rocket before and loved the fast-paced ride, so we were excited to try the fireworks cruise. Unfortunately, the experience didn't match the description. The boat didn't leave the dock until about 9:05 p.m. and we were already back at the dock by about 9:45 p.m. We were actually in our car and driving home before 10:00 p.m. After leaving the dock after 9, we slowly made our way to the pier, sat idling for 15 minutes while waiting for the fireworks to begin, watched the 8 minute fireworks display, and then headed straight back to the dock. There was none of the fun, high-speed ride along the boardwalk that we've enjoyed on previous Sea Rocket trips. There would have been plenty of time before or after the fireworks to ride up and down the boardwalk as their typical cruises do. Guests are asked to arrive at least 25 minutes before departure (although this wasn't necessary as we stood on the docket for such a long time even though the boat was back from the previous trip by 8:40), so between arriving early, leaving late, and returning around 9:45, it honestly felt like we spent more time waiting than enjoying the actual cruise. As a family of seven, we spent $195.76, and had the experience been described more accurately, we likely would have chosen something else for our evening. I understand this was the first Thursday night fireworks cruise and there may have been logistics to work out, which is why I chose not to immediately leave a negative review. Instead, I emailed the company directly with detailed feedback and requested that they consider a partial refund. I received only automated AI acknowledgment emails as response to my emails on July 16 and July 26, despite being told my feedback had been forwarded to a human representative. I never received a response from an actual person. The lack of customer service after making a good-faith effort to resolve my concerns privately is what ultimately led me to leave this review. I hope the company updates its advertising to accurately reflect the actual experience and does a better job responding to customer feedback. read more

Had an absolute amazing experience on the Sunset cruise. I would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking to experience a beautiful sunset while coasting along the bay and ocean while listening to music. The captain and mate were amazing as they communicated with us the whole time. They spotted multiple pods of dolphins and stopped so we could experience the dolphins interacting with each other. They even sped the boat up and formed a wake so we could watch the dolphins play in the wake. Such an amazing experience. As the sun was setting, they let off a cannon "boom" which just put an exclamation point on an already wonderful experience. From the point of check in to the cruise itself, the staff were overly accommodating and every penny spent was well worth it. A core memory for our vacation! read more

Been on this boat several times and have always enjoyed it! We went out on the 9 a.m. ride, which was $3 off and kids 12 and under were free. It was a beautiful morning ride with a nice ocean breeze. We took a photo (which was optional BTW, not mandatory as another reviewer said) and loved it! It has been, and still is just $5 for the photo which is great for your memory books. The captain's mate will also take free photos of your group as he offered to do so toward the end of the ride. We got to see dolphins, learn some history about Ocean City, and got some great recommendations for local spots! Definitely worth the ride and a great deal for your money!! Bobby and Carter did an amazing job putting on a show for us on the boat and making sure our experience in the air was just as fun! Bobby has been doing this 16 years and we felt so safe with him! Carter was fast and efficient making sure we got our harness on correctly and safely connected. He dipped us in the water perfectly and made us have so much fun. While in the air we saw so many sting rays of all sizes! I swore I saw a dolphin too!! Once back on the boat he gave us an awesome ride. Amazing experience. Well organized crew, they explain how to hold, sit and release on the parachute. They kindly ask if you want pictures to be taken of your adventure. Great music on the go was on. Great things last, but like Einstein said it is relative. Time past so fast, that the amazing time we spent was a blink. Laughter and some seagulls around were part of the trip. Some jokes at the beginning and the end of the adventure were part of the seasoning. Was a delight. Definitely a repeat adventure!!! And Definitely 100% recommendation! read more

Captain Tim and Drew were honest and clearly concerned about even trying to take us out to parasail. we left dock and went out into windy seas but Captain Tim navigated the waves like nothing I've ever seen he was truly fabulous! This was well worth the money we paid. While in Ocean City, a lot of attractions rob you by making you pay way too much for way too little, but $22 a ticket for adults was well worth it. My girlfriend and I absolutely adored it. We didn't get to see any dolphins, but that is perfectly fine. We did the evening ride so it wasn't crowded and the sun was lower in the sky making the views incredible. The father and son were very kind and helpful. I would love to do this again. My family and I have ridden the Sea Rocket for the past 12 years and it never gets old. The crew has always been super friendly and funny. It is a cruise that genuinely is appropriate for all ages. As our daughter is finally a teenager, this was the first year we've had to pay for her (all kids under 12 ride free with each $19 paid adult). You can even go to their website or one of the local coupon books for $2 off each adult ticket. Honestly, you can't beat it. Top-notch fun. read more

I was looking to do something different and exciting for my staff so I decided to try out a sailing trip. I chose surf side parasail because when I called they were so friendly and accommodating. When we arrived the captain and mate were so hospitable, they waited on us hand and foot. We were allowed to bring our own food and drinks and the mate was willing to serve us, take photos and was very accommodating. The sunset was amazing! I ordered parasailing tickets off their website and signed the waivers online as well. We showed up 30 minutes early and they checked us in no problem. The captain and his crew were younger men, but were very friendly and very helpful. My wife and I took our 6 year old daughter parasailing with us and they made her feel safe and comfortable. We took the 45 minute speed boat/dolphin cruise at 10:30am. The boat was almost full. You are not guaranteed to see dolphins but we saw a few pods jumping around. Everyone loved it. Captain Ashton and Brody were great. They tried to get the dolphins to jump in the wake (a few did). My boys are 10 & 12, they were excited but very nervous. The crew seemed confident with the equipment and had a very relaxed approach, this made everyone on the boat much more comfortable. I throughly enjoyed my Parasailing trip yesterday, September 4th. I was originally scheduled for Friday but the tour was canceled due to winds. I am greatful that my safety was considered, which is why I didn't mind rescheduling for yesterday. Captain Tim and crew mate Jude were awesome and very personable. Our family went on the Sea Rocket this week. I would highly recommend them. The employees on the boat we very accommodating. The day we went there were a lot of dolphins, they took their time so everyone was able to see them. Even offered to take a pic of our group with our phone. We have ridden the Sea Rocket three times and it never disappoints. The ride is awesome, the crew is kind and comical, and the views are incredible. We have seen dolphins each time we rode and the captain made sure to maneuver the boat so everyone on board could see the dolphins. Absolutely amazing experience! We would absolutely book with Wyatt and Ashton again. We paid ~$90/person (with taxes,) and purchased the photo package for $50/flight.
