Fried shrimp
Glenn G.

The fried shrimp was delicious. It came with garlic Cole slaw which was yummy as well. The shrimp and grits were awesome as well. The taso ham added a nice touch. The Brussel sprouts could be best described as blah. The service was awkward. The waitress would only look at one person at a time. There are two sides of the restaurant all of the locals seem to go to the piano side. Definitely worth a try but not sure if I'll be back.

Redfish with Orzo and Microgreens.

Fantastic food and service. I sat at the bar and Katie took excellent care of me. The crab soup was some of the best I've had since I left Southern Maryland many years ago, and Southern Maryland is *known* for cream of crab soup. This was right up there! I had the Redfish special and it was also excellent. My first visit and I will most certainly be back - highly recommended!

Triple tail pan seared.

Food was great and service even better! The restaurant is nicely appointed and low key. Our server, I believe her name is Landon, is exceptional. She knows every dish they prepare and explained anything we asked. Absolutely a delight. We had the fried pimento cheese with a Tabasco sauce- so very good and crab stuffed hush puppies. The hush puppies are served on a jalapeño sauce that is top notch. Loved it! For our entrees, husband had triple tail pan roasted with Fingerling Potatoes, Andouille Sausage, Sweet Peppers, Corn, Cipollini Onions, Wilted Kale, Roasted Garlic Aioli. I had swordfish bronzed served with Hoppin' John, Tomato Cream, Pickled Okra. Everything was fresh and prepared well. Go!

Tried for the first time visiting St Simon's Island and made it for happy hour. We ordered two glasses of wine and a few items to try and then stayed for a late dinner. We tried the fried pimento cheese in Tabasco syrup, crab stuffed hush puppies, fried shrimp corndogs, and the wasabi pea encrusted tuna. We would've never ordered the pimento cheese however it was recommended by our server. We're glad we did because it was really tasty and the syrup had an interesting flavor. I would definitely order again. The wasabi tuna was good as well as expected. The crab stuffed hush puppies and shrimp corn dogs were just fine. We ordered a wedge salad and pan seared three tail fish and split the order as we just wanted to follow with a light meal. The salad was fine and different than expected as I typically get a wedge with blue cheese and bacon. This salad featured a peppercorn vinaigrette, which was just ok. The fish was tasty but was a small portion and probably too small to split. I failed to mention that happy hour drinks are great with the house wine at $4 a glass. I would definitely like to try again to give a better assessment. Apologies for limited photos as we were hungry and started to eat before taking any pictures. I would rate George Sea Grill as a 4.3 if Yelp had a better scale.

Wow! There's a reason why this has been voted at the top of restaurants in the area. They open at 5 and there was the usual line of people waiting to grab a seat in one of the two bar areas. We chose the non-piano side and enjoyed the atmosphere. Our wait staff was Emma and she was so friendly and professional. GSG has a fab happy hour with drink specials and app specials. We had almost one of everything and were happy with all. The Georgia wild shrimp corn dogs were perfectly breaded and fried and come with a great dipping sauce and coleslaw. We tried the fried okra with a chive aioli-lightly breaded and nicely crunchy. The plate of beef carpaccio was beautiful and delish! It was served with capers, baguette slices and a perfect soft boiled egg. The pimiento cheese is like a hush puppy but filled with the cheese on top of a thin Tabasco sauce. So good! The highlight for all of us was the wasabi ahi tuna. It was so tender and tasty as well as the stir fried cabbage. We enjoyed their southern manhattan drink and the house red wine. This place is a long time staple of St. Simon's Island and I absolutely def recommend!

Georgia Sea Grill came highly recommended from multiple sources and DID NOT disappoint! From the service to the amazingly well prepared and presented plates to the ambiance, it was the best meal we had while visiting St Simon's Island! I'd 100% go back again and it was a fair price for the quality food and sized portions. So delicious, we might have forgotten to take pictures of dessert!

Wonderful dinner! 1st visit here our serve was excellent & made great recommendations. They had a Holiday sangria that was tasty. Our calamari app was so good. For entrees we had scallops-huge seared scallops with collards & field rice peas! Delicious....Grilled redfish & grilled flounder. Desserts tried were pecan pie & a satsuma cheesecake! Highly talented chef & such a warm environment. Don't miss this place for dinner!

The flavor is surprisingly good. I will add the chips are not greasy and very tasty. Side salad is a great side option. We also loved the lemon pepper chicken wings. Very crispy and not greasy. The Havarti grilled cheese sandwich was also a hit. Handhelds were priced $15-20. And the entrees were $20+. Highly recommended this restaurant and bar. The store is a plus to the dine.

We sat at the bar but learned the Tuesday special was a flight of three bartender choice wines 2 oz pours for $15. Evidently the Wine tasting thing was not current. We've seen many restaurants don't update their web site so it's always a gamble when you show up. Not sure if it was an open table thing or the restaurant. Either way we enjoy wine so my wife ordered a red flight and I ordered a $6 happy hour Italian Pinot Noir. The Pinot was fine and decent pour and my wife sampled the flight. One of the wines was a little off and we both thought it may have soured. She mentioned it to the bartender and he shrugged it off and said it wasn't an old bottle. Mentioned it again and no big deal. Might have been nice to at least offer something else. I'd recommend ordering a glass of what you like rather than waste the $15. For dinner I wanted to try the seared pork ribeye but they were out of stock so I settled for the short rib sandwich on ciabatta bread. My wife ordered the beet and goat cheese salad which she enjoyed and thought was fine. The short rib sandwich was tasty enough but the bread was soft like it came out of a plastic bag. I was hoping for a better quality bread which is important for a sandwich. It wasn't something I would order again. Overall it's a really quaint place with isles of olive oil and items to purchase but the experience was a 2.0 and the food average 3.0 at best. I really expected a bit more especially from the look and feel of the place. Not sure I could get around to wanting to go back to try anything else on the menu. Bartender was nice but overall just not a good experience after a long day of work. I feel bad to leave an unsatisfactory score but I upped my 2.0 to 3.0 as ratings are important and it's probably at least a 3.0.

This mgmt change has without a doubt destroyed this place. We were seated outside-- our waiter (Johnny) came up to us (15 min later) with dirty dishes in my face taking drink orders. Our drinks haven't come for a total of FORTY THREE MINUTES. We checked in with them at the 20 minute mark mind you, so we gave them a reminder in case they forgot about us but instead passed it on and doubled it for the timing! There is no excuse for this. We all got up and left the table and saw our waiter inside chatting it up at the bar with his coworker holding our drinks. When I made a complaint to mgmt, it was even recognized that they've had issues with Johnny and said sorry. The whole entire staff just seemed very unbothered and aloof to everything. We have some friends who live on the island and when we asked them about the King and Prince, each and every one of them talked about how its now a shithole. They've heard stories about the staff, below average food/drinks, and overall atmosphere that has seemed to have declined when mgmt changed in 2024. So grateful for the lovely memories The King and Prince had to offer us all these years. Super sad to see what it has become and will likely get worse.

We arrived for an early dinner and we're greeted by the hostess and bartender. Everyone was very welcoming and they offered us seating anywhere in the bar area. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were offered seating in the dining room. Once we were seated, we ordered wine and the Apple, Pecan, and goat cheese salad (split in two plates). The server brought us both a very nice portion and we thoroughly enjoyed the salad as it was fresh and very tasty. My wife ordered the Shrimp and Grits which they are known for as being notable and I ordered the Seafood Pot Pie. The shrimp and grits were excellent with a heap of blackened shrimp over a flavorful Gouda course grits. The shrimp were cooked just right. The seafood pot pie had the blue crab bisque as the base and loaded with shrimp, white fish, salmon, and small scallops. It was topped with a puffed pastry square. The pot pie was also an excellent dish that I would definitely recommend. Next time I may come back for the crab bisque as an appetizer. Five stars, no notes…read more Ok, I have notes. This is the best fine-dining experience on the island. Yes, Woodside exists, and is quite good. But Delaney's is better. First, the service. I ate here twice over the course of a week, once at the bar, and once in the dining room. Michael took great care of us at the bar, and Devin was fantastic in the dining room. Also, a shout out to the short little Hispanic fellow who delivers those delightful warm rolls--incredible! The second time I visited, we had to wait a few minutes while our table was prepared. In maybe six minutes total, no less than seven different servers approached us to make sure we were being taken care of. Forget about the menu you see online. The specials are where it's at. Both meals I had, there were at least five appetizer specials, and nearly double that for mains. I won't go through a blow-by-blow of every dish, but suffice it to say every single thing we ate was perfection. And even after salads, our mains, and sharing two desserts and three appetizers, we left feeling satisfied but not bloated, a testament to the quality of the food. GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.

First I have to give a shout out to our waiter Devon. He managed to list all the specials slow enough that I was able to keep track and remember them. Usually I give up about half way through. Anyway, his service was also excellent. I ordered the duck which I have had there before and oh my goodness it was even better. The outside skin was grilled perfectly and had a nice bite to it. My husband had the pork steak schnitzel. He shared one little piece with me and it literally melted in your mouth. I told him next time I was getting it - it was that good. So big decision next time I go back as I loved loved loved the duck. We typically don't order dessert but hey it was Valentine's Day. My husband ordered the key lime pie which was monumental as he is super picky and never ever has anything good to say when he does get it. That changed- he declared it was real key lime pie and would order it again. My chocolate Guinness cake was also excellent. So as you can tell, I definitely recommend this place and the fact that they just keep getting better is phenomenal!
