Golf carted to Tara's for to-go dinner. Really nice place that's clean and comfortable. We were waited on right away and our order was ready in about 15 minutes. Everything was packaged well! We ordered the tofu curry, chicken cashew and a couple of seaweed salads. It was all tasty and fresh! The curry sauce was so creamy and the cashews were fresh roasted. Great place and great food and def recommend!

Sushi was mediocre, unripe avocados were served in our sushi making the texture not as great and more plastic-y. Their seaweed salad was great, pad Thai had no eggs, no peanuts, only had bean sprouts and chicken. It didn't taste like pad Thai at all so do not come here wanting Thai food. Service was ok, overstaffed and not busy. The basil fried rice was really good, it's a quick pop in and out kind of store. Food was pretty quickly made.

Spicy tuna and 911 roll. They are good. The service was atrocious.

I got the sushi combo to go with the spicy salmon and 911 roll, they tasted good. I placed my order and was 10 minutes later than the scheduled pickup time. When I walked in, there were multiple servers toward the back that let me know to pick up back there. I confirmed my name and asked if I could have shrimp and soy sauce. The server, tall and blonde, went over to the sushi chef and was talking to her. I kept looking at my car because I locked the baby inside while he was sleeping. I walked over to the area of the bar they were both at and when she started walking toward the back again I said oh, I'm here (trying to save her from having to walk more to hand it to me). I guess she didn't hear me, so I met her back at the back. She tossed the bag on the bar and walked away. I asked if it was ready and someone else ended up saying it was. I felt around in the bag and didn't feel chop sticks so I went to grab a pair, no big deal, but the girl said they're already in there. I opened the bag before I left thankfully and sure enough, they weren't in there. I went back to grab the chopsticks and she was extremely rude saying I told you I put them in there. I said they weren't very calmly and was going to grab the chopsticks and she opened the bag while saying I put them on top and she looked in, saw they weren't there, and with the worst attitude just shoved the bag back at me. Idk if she was drunk or on something or what, but she was not at all attentive and extremely rude.

I love Thai food and was excited to check this place out during my trip to St. Simons Island. While the staff here were great, unfortunately, I can't say the same about the food. For dinner, we ordered Drunken Noodles, Pad See Ew, and the Tom Yum Goong soup. The latter was overloaded with mushrooms and lemongrass, and didn't quite taste like Tom Yum Goong. Both entrees were sweet and had way too many noodles than proteins and veggies. Most of the noodles were also stuck together, and the entrees just did not taste like authentic Thai food. I'm giving this place three stars only because the staff were nice and the water at least tasted filtered.

Great food and great service. Panang curry was delicious and the servers were all very friendly.

Sushi has plastic still on it

Today we got take out from here and let me tell you it was a terrible experience from the start. First, when we got home and began to eat the sushi we ordered the crab stick was still in plastic. Second, we went back and proceeded to tell them what happened and seemed annoyed with us for coming back and having to remake it (super rude). Third, we get home and open the bag and the roll looked like it just got thrown together. If I get an $18 dollar roll I kinda expect it to be presented nice and especially if u messed up in the first place. Never going back

Great Asian fusion restaurant on Saint Simons Island. This place has just about everything Thai and many types of sushi that you can think of. I was pleasantly surprised by the way they managed to keep both separate genres of food good and fairly authentic. As far as the Thai food goes, the masaman beef curry and pad Thai dish were great, and the crispy duck was very deliciousn! If you like duck, try that! The rolls were pretty good. I would recommend the 911, dynamite, and crunch one. Fun place to stop in, service could have been better!

Delicious drunken noodles and pad Thai! Much needed grub after a long day of bike riding. Service was attentive and food came out prompt.

The whole menu except for drinks and some specialty items are included. You can order whatever you want and as much as you want and they bring it out on giant platters. Just make sure you finish whatever you order! Otherwise there's a surcharge. We enjoyed appetizers first (gyoza, spring rolls, wings and shrimp tempura). Then we ordered two heaping portions of sushi and a beef udon dish. We finished up with ice cream and a donut each. It was $207 worth of food (we calculated) that we ate for under $100 before tip for the three of us. Definitely worth it. The food was generally quality and delicious. The specialty rolls were particularly good. We loved being able to order the individual nigiri. Regularly, these go for a few dollars for 2, but in this case we could just order whatever we wanted. The eel was our favorite nigiri and the dragon rolls were our favorite sushi rolls. We enjoyed mixing the donut into the vanilla ice cream for a hot and cold dessert. Lunch would be an excellent choice if we get a chance as it's significantly less expensive for what, at first glance, looks like the same menu. We'll definitely come back, and soon!

The hours…read moreposted on the door were inaccurate, and after being seated we were informed that the kitchen would be closing in five minutes. The food was underwhelming from the start. The edamame seemed as though it had been cooked earlier and simply reheated before being served. The sushi rolls appeared hastily assembled, and the avocado was overly mushy. The spicy tuna roll was unusual, consisting of plain tuna with sriracha drizzled on top rather than a traditional spicy tuna mixture. The California roll was generic and forgettable. The Philly roll was the best item we tried, but the smoked salmon tasted as though it may not have been at its freshest. Service was acceptable--nothing particularly bad, but nothing that stood out either. Overall, the experience did not live up to expectations, and there are better sushi options available for the price.

We are visiting from out of town, but family members assured us this was a good place too. We were seated in a lovely place by the door, with views outside. Unfortunately NOBODY came to take any order for almost 20 minutes and this was after we alerted the host. Overall the food was great, but the service was so bad. The server blamed it on the kitchen, but the place was not busy when we arrived and maybe the kitchen would not be backed up if the servers took care of their tables in a timely manner. Never going back.
