Great gracious. I'm on a business trip and found this place when searching for a restaurant serving vegan options...hard to find when you're at the beach. Got here right at noon for lunch, and there has been a steady stream of folks in and out. Ordered the black bean soup with a half Sea Salt salad...DELICIOUS. I am normally a meat eater but usually go vegan in January. I would come here any month of the year! The food is fresh and super yummy, and I need to figure out how to make the soup at home. If you are looking for fresh healthy and vegan, plant based foods then this is the place. My wife and I have just about had everything on there menu and it's a tough choice to pick one or two items over others. The soups are outrageously good and the salads are perfect. Things to avoid if possible the lunch hour rush, it's gets so loud because so many people don't understand what it is to use there inside voices. Kidding aside it does get busy and loud. Everything about this place is correct. The food is good quality, fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and tastes amazing. I ordered a salad as a wrap with a cup of vegetable soup and it was one of the prettiest, simply satisfying lunches I've ever had, on the island and beyond. Highly recommend stopping in if you want something lighter or vegan vs. the fried food that is easily accessible at 95% of the other restaurants in SSI. This place has fantastic high quality food, however it is drastically overpriced with tiny portion sizes. It's truly unfortunate because I don't see how they will retain business. I'm all about quality and ingredients, but the prices are insane for what you get. One bowl with added steak is the price of a high quality steak dinner and you only get a TINY portion of steak. If you like good food, and can afford over $60 for 2 tiny meals, this is the spot for you. I was disappointed to spend $100 for 3 people (this was to-go and NO Alcohol) and I was still hungry. If i could give this more stars i would. I have an autoimmune disease so I follow a strict lifestyle call autoimmune protocol (AIP). With that being said, I made a card so I can share with staff members, The gentleman at the counter was extremely accommodating and checked every ingredient to make sure it was part of my protocol. I got the Rocket Beet salad with out the goat cheese and cashews and balsamic reduction. Then added avocado, carrots and salmon. It was one of the best salads I have ever had. Then to add to this great experience we walked next store to their sister restaurant Chili Pepper so my husband could get lunch and they accommodate me with a meal from a different restaurant.
