I had a terrible experience with one of them, he basically made reconstruction sound like no big deal, no need for physical therapy and showed me tear drop shaped implants. I decided to get a second opinion on this "too good to be true" reconstruction. I landed in Dr Kalnoki's office, SHE IS THE BEST! Not only did she spend 2 hours with me at my consult, she explained why you need therapy and what shape implants (not the tear drops because they'll flip and you'll have awkward boobs), all about risks and benefits and how to choose whats best for you, as an INDIVIDUAL. She's done a fellowship and has immense knowledge. I woke up from my mastectomy with reconstruction happy as a clam! My breasts look almost identical to before they were removed and redone! Dr K monitored me closely and her office staff, Tammy answers all my questions....Holly helps you schedule and Kris knows about insurance. They are wonderful. Being a gym/swim gorilla they kept me on a tight leash and didn't sugar coat anything. More offices need to be like that! I am going in for some fat-grafting procedures to make sure my breasts are even closer to normal. Dr K takes your own fat and injects it where you have divots and dimples. She has a very keen eye. Kayla misinformed me regarding time to complete application & results. Regarding time I have to guess she is again unaware. She quoted 30-40 minute application. She was off!! She simply didn't care. I drove 2 hours on my time not one staff member contacted a potential employee familiar with C02 laser?? Is anybody familiar or have tenure?? No. Last visit staffer responded .... "those are your results.....that's what ya get, have a good one, see ya!" . Incompetent at its best! No offer to make amends speak w/ practicing doctor. He also ruined my bellybutton, usually the incision is hidden inside the belly button so it's not as noticeable, he just went right around it on the outside with a diamond shaped cut and left very visible scar. He also did not perform the muscle repair like he said he would. He had the audacity to tell me at my 3 month appointment that what I was pointing out to him was a "bone" and not a separation in my muscles, acting like I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about. He said that he did was he was supposed to do and then said he no longer needed to see me after that appointment. I'd also like to note that they never checked in on my after my surgery to see how I was doing and I was never given a phone # to call/text him if I had any issues. I was lucky enough to find another surgeon to fix his mistakes in April, 2023 and apparently, had a very bad hernia, which was not mentioned at all during Dr. Gray's appointments. The scars from the surgery were hideous and I had to pay a dermatologist for laser treatment to reduce the scarring. I suffered from severe contracture of my left breast. When I went back to Gray's office, all they told me to do was to keep massaging them. Had another plastic surgeon correct the issue and I should add the scars from that surgery were non existent! I highly recommend seeing a plastic surgeon who is associated with a hospital.

Doctor missed one spot to remove fat tissues even though I specially asked to remove that spot before the surgery because it was start to forming on left corner. Doctor performed surgery fast, so I hardly had any bruises around my eyes. Well, I rather have some bruises than fat tissues left. Bruises will fade off but fat tissues will not! He offered me to have a surgery again but the situation is not allowed to spare at least a week off work for surgery. It cost a lot of money, but result is not really satisfied.

Her and her staff were supportive pre-op but the morning of the surgery I felt like I was a nuisance when she came to see me. Despite our conversations she asked, so what size are we going for today? I was under the impression that a surgeon on staff at the hospital would be highly vetted but that is not the case. The result was lopsidedness, ropey scarring, misalignment of breasts and nipples, and when I voiced my concerns, both the staff and her were dismissive and tried to tell me it was because I wasn't taking care of my incisions. Despite buying everything out there and doing massage routines several times a day. Blaming the patient seems to be their main method of dealing with patient concerns based on reading reviews about her on several different sites. But based on logic, there's no amount of rubbing oil on my skin that can make my nipples the same color or realign them or make both of my breasts the same size again. During my follow-up appointments with my cancer surgeon, she honestly gasped the first time she saw the results. She was obviously very upset and told me I should approach the hospital. I have no intention of going under the knife again and it has been 5 years. I wouldn't trust Dr Marble to take a splinter out of my finger. I hope no one else who reads this does either.
