Bought a car from them in December, 2024. Four days after I bought it the car started hesitating, then bucking, then the check engine light went on. Their warranty says they'll pay 50% if you have engine trouble, but you have to bring it back to them. I couldn't do that, not knowing whether the car would even make it the 50 mile trip. So I took it to another shop (right after getting a verbal OK from Mike on a phone call to do it). It was the coil (also a break fluid reservoir leak, but that's not an engine problem, I get that). After avoiding my emails and calls for three weeks, Scott finally got back to me today refusing to pay any money, insisting that I had to bring the car to them. From my point of view he's thorough, kind, respectful, and honest. From my significant others point of view he's smart, to the point, knowledgeable, and committed to customer satisfaction. From the time we left until we purchased our vehicle we never felt rushed or talked down to, there was never a moment that we felt uncomfortable with the sale and always felt like it was a full disclosure kind of place. There were some unavoidable blips along the way but Mike and Scott went above and beyond to fix the issues (and did) without ever making us feel like we were a burden. Seacoast Wholesale - Car Dealers Near Me - Hampton Falls, New Hampshire

In August 2016, I purchased a 2005 GMC Canyon from Seacoast Wholesale. Nice truck; perfect size for my needs. Soon after purchase the check engine light goes on. Then, it doesn't start one day. I learned after that that 2005 GMC Canyons and Chevy Colorados have an issue with their ignitions that cause the kill switch to go off and you have to wait 20 minutes and it will start again. I don't blame Seacoastwholesale for those issues so much as I do for the fact that 16 months after purchase my truck is competely useless. I went in to have it inspected recently and the mechanic pointed out that the frame above the leaf spring mounts is corroded down to nothing and that it's so bad that it shouldn't be driven on the road. He described what would happen if they let go moving at a high rate of speed; pretty scarey. My issue with Seacoast Wholesale is that it's very hard to believe that the degree of corrosion to the point where the truck is rendered useless could not have begun after I purchased it in August 2016. Shame on me for not looking closer at the time of purchase but I did see that the frame was pretty well coated - maybe to hide something. If they were aware of that, and I don't see how they couldn't, then shame on you, Seacoast Wholesale. I've already called GMC and let them have it but Seacoast is equally culpable in this scam. Bought a 2010 traverse from them and love it. Best car buying experience I've ever had. I drove up and walked over to the traverse and no one came up to bother me. I went in to find someone. They had the traverse ready for me to pick up the next morning as I didn't have a ride till the next day. Even my bf aunt was shocked how fast the process was. It could be Because I didn't need financing but was a great experience. One of my sunroof things was missing a button and they found me one right away. Went to buy a truck so I filled out the credit form and was told I'd hear back that next Tuesday. Wel tuesday came and went so when I called to check on how things were going they told me they sold the truck because they "didn't know that was the one I wanted" all this after discussing the truck with them and test driving it. DON'T BUY HERE! BUYER BEWARE! They are con artists! They won't let you take a vehicle out to be inspected by your own mechanic. I bought a vehicle from them that needed repair, and they botched it- I went with with them because we split the cost 50/50, per the crappy warranty. They 'fixed' it twice, and now it's worse than before they made the original repair. I've attempted contact numerous times about the botched repair, and they ignore me. They won't refund my money, or fix it- not that I would trust them to do so. They got my money, I got screwed. Additionally, when I went to pick it up after purchase, the gas tank was on empty, and the battery was dead! It needed a jump start to drive it off the lot... Really! They sent me on my way, and I had to go buy a new battery. And they also botched the title paperwork. Learn from my mistake and don't buy from this dealer! read more
