The calamari has no flavor and I wasn't given any marinara or any sauce at all to go with it. The clams weren't cleaned properly and I felt like it was sand in my teeth as I was eating them. Right on the money! Until recently it's been quite a trek to find Cajun style seafood boils. Now there's one in our backyard! I've been here twice already. So glad its close to home. Both times i ordered 3lbs of shrimp and with was awesome both times. The second time we came with family and also ordered some blue crabs and since its BYOB, we had some brew to wash it down with. Since it is one of those "hands on" seafood places, I was ready to throw down. Bibs, gloves, paper covered tables and a truckload of napkins. The staff is really nice and welcoming. Both visits we were able to sit down right away, food came out really quick and always had a waitress promptly checking up on us. Will definitely be a regular here. read more

I had been craving seafood for weeks and tried finding one in my area. This one happened to be the closest (25 mins away) with what I was looking for. First of all, the young lady on the phone was sooo patient, sweet and helpful when I called before actually ordering. I ordered the number 1 combo and just ate half of it. I went to this restaurant with 3 other people after seeing reviews online. After eating here, I am writing my first Yelp review, because this place is AMAZING. I've had boils down in New Orleans and seafood in NY, and this is one of the best seafood boils I've eaten ever. We ordered the raw oysters, the combo #1, the blue crab, and crawfish. Oysters were fresh, cleaned well, and delicious. Every aspect of the boil was flavored and cooked perfectly. I went during the week when there weren't that many people and it was so delicious! I got a huge bag that I shared with another person and it was more than enough. I forgot which option it was but it had everything from corn, lobster, shrimp, and crawfish. You can choose your sauce flavors which was nice but just be careful because it can be very messy. Wow where do i start. This place is really awesome. I was told this place just recently opened. It was a little far from me but we didn't mind because we heard some good reviews from this place. Just finished an amazing meal at Seafood Boil. We had the Combo 1 with Boom (garlic, Cajun spice, lemon pepper combo) and a whole fresh lobster with lemon pepper. All of the food was so fresh and fabulous!! As other reviews have said Boom is the way to go! We walked out talking about when we would come back. Truly a great find! The tables are set with white paper covers, gloves and lobster bibs. This is not a locale for a first date or those who are uncomfortable eating with their hands. Don't be shy and don't skip the lobster bib. Really yummy and a lot of fun. read more

This place is a hidden gem! I had a dinner there for my birthday 18 ppl in total and EVERYONE liked their food. The price the quality the service this place gets 5 stars from me. I went yesterday and am so tempted to go back today. I got a lb of snow crab legs with the boom sauce medium spice. So good. The flavor was just right. It's also BYOB which is perfect. Another reason they get a great review from me is that they are super clean!! I enjoy seafood it's my favorite but I can't stand to walk into a seafood restaurant and be overpowered by a fishy smell. A little disappointed with the food. I was thinking this was a true seafood boil place. However, it a "hood" Chinese food spot in disguise. I ordered shrimp and fried oysters...HORRIBLE. The fried oysters were in tempura batter and tasted like the crab stick or fried scallops appetizer you get from a Chinese food restaurant. My wife and I came here after we heard from a friend about it. We shared a #3 combo and fried calamari. Overall the food, taste and portion size were very good and on par. The only minor feedback we have was our sauce for the calamari had a weird burnt or aftertaste. It's likely not homemade anyway so could just be a brand of sauce. The boil itself was nicely sized and tasty. We got the cajun mild sauce but it was still a bit spicy for me but manageable. The only thing that i would say was that the snow crab legs may have been slightly overcooked because both my wife and I couldnt get the snap where you snap the leg in half and then wiggle the halves so a big piece of meat is left on one side. Usually its because the meat is too soft from being overcook. Not a big deal because you can use the provided tools to get your meat. This place is new and i suspect it will get busier. It is reasonably priced, food is very good and service was good. We will be back. read more

The combo cost around 30 bucks, but it came with lots of crawfish, clams, mussels, jumbo shrimp, corn and potatoes.
