We dropped by Seafood City Supermarket to do a bit of shopping while we were in town. My mom had a blast stocking up on some Filipino-centric sundries, as well as some fresh produce, The store had a lot of unique inventory, the employees were nice and helpful (especially the gentleman behind the butcher counter) plus the prices were still pretty reasonable; all in all, it was a good shopping trip.

I like to shop as it is closer and different establishments are found in the same plaza. However, I myself saw a big black rat running so fast from the plant area to the front of produce (bittermelon eggplant area). I reported in to the cashier and another customer overheard and mentioned there was sightings as well yesterday. I hope they fixed it soon.

Security guards started to harass customers now by asking for their receipts. Who they think they are, Costco? I didn't sign anything to be harassed like that. I had both hands full from the counter and told the security that my receipt is inside the bag. he still wants to see it. No way. I walked away!.

Today 4/9/2024, my husband and I went to Seafood City. My husband bout 2 Florida avocados. One was ready to eat and the other was sort of not ripe yet. The price for each avocado was $3.99 each. My husband cut open the avocado that was ready (ripe) to eat. When he cut it open it was rotten in some spots. I called Seafood City spoke to someone. She put me on hold and we got disconnected. I called back from 2 different cell numbers and it rang and rang. No one picked up. I called about 4 times from each cell. Guess the person didn't want to talk to me anymore after I asked for the manager

Had them fry my 2 fish today when i got home the fish was still raw and look for how they slide fish to fry it's not like that I don't want to give them 1 star but I have no choice. Because yelp they not have ZERO STAR. Will never go there buy fish again.

Get your Filipino food here! The only negative is that it can get expensive as far as the prices go on certain products.

We pull up and the parking lot is completely full even some car making there own parking spaces lol. We parked about 2 blocks down in a neighborhood hood since all the side street parking was all taken. I knew this place was the right choice and was going to be a hit! We walked in and there is a line to pick your food. This is basically a seafood market and they will cook what you pick if you want. The additional cooking fee is $3.00 per pound. I ordered my food to be cooked I was hangry and left with a triple wide big back. My seafood I picked was Alligator, Baby octopus, Basa, Catfish, Jumbo Lobster Tail, Jumbo Tiger prawns, Sea Scallops, and Oysters. I also ordered a bottle of Kim's Crack Sauce. My total damage with cooking fee was $130 it was well worth the price with the amount of food and the seafood per pound is great! I was told it was an hour wait for my food to be cooked and I was totally fine with it. Less than an hour later my food is done and I am handed 2 giant shopping bags full of food and head home. My food was still warm after driving 1.5 hrs home. I dig into the bags and when I tell you they cooked everything to pure perfection and seasoned properly they did their big one. You can also request you food to be fried hard if you want. I will definitely be back. I want to try other seafood items. There is no dining area to sit and eat Soultran's is strictly order to go.

I got the pho with the beef rib and the meat was really tender, fell off the bone, and not too fatty. The soup for my pho did not have too MSG and was really really good. The smoothie I got was a good value and not too icy and had good smooth texture as well as good taste. Service is at the top when compared to other Vietnamese restauraunts. I hear them communicating in Vietnamese about the status of orders frequently so that customers are not waiting too long. They check in on customers, refill water regularly, and I saw a table getting help packing their food into togo containers too. Really enjoyed the relaxing music as well. I had the lemon grass chicken banh mi, which comes with pate (liver spread). I could skip the pate next time. Compared to other pho places, the meat was a bit underwhelming. Some places pack the meat more generously. I also tried the 7. Lemongrass chicken over rice. It came with an egg, a couple of shrimp, a side of salad, and a small broth. It was not bad at all. The presentation was nice, and the flavors were tasty. The service was a bit slow. The lady who took our order took a while to get back to us, but she checked on us several times. Overall, I'd return to try the rest of the menu and their pho next time.

On 4/14/26 at 6:45pm I placed an order with this establishment. After receiving my food, I encountered an issue with my order. I called the restaurant to address the problem and seek a resolution. When my call was answered, the employee did not initially identify herself. I had to ask for her name, at which point she stated her name was Jasmine. I found it unprofessional that she did not provide a basic introduction when answering the phone. I then requested to speak with a manager regarding my complaint. Jasmine refused to provide the manager's name when I asked, which immediately raised concerns about transparency and accountability. After insisting, I was eventually transferred to the manager. Once the Manager came to the phone his introduction was bag o crab, I asked for his name. The manager refused to provide his name when asked. For appropriate customer service and documentation purposes I needed to know who I was speaking with but he continued to refuse. Shortly after I requested his name again, the manager rudely refused and hung up on me.This behavior was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. At no point was I provided with assistance, or any effort to resolve the issue with my order. This experience demonstrated a complete lack of customer service, accountability, and professionalism. Refusing to identify oneself as a manager and hanging up on a customer attempting to resolve an issue is unacceptable. My order was horrific. My experience was horrific and I wasted my money.

Just about everything here is made to order (fish, wings, pretty much the whole menu), so patience is part of the deal when ordering at the counter. If you're in a hurry, calling ahead or using DoorDash is always an option. For lunch, I ordered a 2-piece catfish with collard greens and candied yams to dine in, plus a chicken wing and fish combo with fries to go. One thing I really appreciated was that they didn't fry the to-go order at the same time as my dine-in meal. That meant everything was piping hot and fresh when I walked out the door. The catfish is my usual go-to and it never disappoints -- perfectly fried, well seasoned, and consistent every time. The kind of seasoning that makes you feel like someone's uncle back there is cooking from the soul. The collard greens are tender, flavorful, and always hit the spot. And the candied yams? Honestly more like dessert than a side -- sweet, comforting, and absolutely worth ordering. Yes, it can feel a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and flavor make it worth it.
