It is with great pleasure to announce that I have finally dined here on several occasions as of my last review update. It's pretty nice inside! The green is very relaxing visually and it's always really clean and cool inside too. Service is great, food too but that goes without saying. I will say though, after having their boat noodles a couple times, Thaitwist's is probably the best I've had in a very long time. It's incredibly flavorful, though it is a bit lacking in add-ins/components, especially compared to other places I've been to. Besides that, it's still super delicious. However, I can't exactly say the same for their tom yum noodles. It's by far the worst I've had anywhere unfortunately. The soup is mildly tangy and pretty light, but kinda flat in terms of flavor. It's very singular in the taste department and also lacking in add-ins too. I guess if you're feeling under the weather and don't want anything too rich and heavy, this would be a pretty good option. Aside from that, everything else is delicious! After coming here several times, I'm starting to learn what Thaitwist makes really well and what items to skip. read more

I've been here maybe a dozen times over the past few years. This restaurant is located in the same general plaza as Costco, but more towards the Chase bank. There is plenty of seating indoors, there used to be outdoor seating but I think since COVID they took that out. There used to be a fireplace which created a beautiful ambiance. Thaitwist was the pick for some takeout since I was in the area. I made an order over the phone and was advised to come pick-up within 20 to 25 minutes. I came over a bit after the ETA and it was ready. American Express was accepted as a payment option. I went at around noon on a Saturday and it was a busy plaza. It is located near Costco. For the order, I got Pad Thai with fried tofu and beef satay. Peanut, cucumber, and sauces were included on the side. A lemon was provided in the container. Everything was delicious and had a well balanced flavor. The Pad Thai had a large portion which could easily be for two people. This review is mainly on the service for a large party. Food is pretty good. I would come here again if just my family and I. The place is cute and clean, so we made a large party reservation for our son's graduation. This place does not do private events- such a shame. They can only do large party reservations ....but just be warned....when it comes to large parties...they are not prepared and do not know how to organize themselves accordingly. They were late to set up our tables for our reserved time and slow to take everyone's orders....so we already had a SLOW start. Then after 1.5 hours despite having a slow start they are rude to your guests and push them out . Never again for a large reservation for me and bringing in large orders. read more

This is the place to go if you are looking for affordable and authentic Thai food. They have a full Thai food menu, including all your classic dishes like pan fried noodles, noodle soups, curries, salads, and rice dishes, along with vegetarian and vegan options. My husband brought me here for a casual lunch. The lunch specials, available before 3pm on weekdays, include a side of 3 potstickers, which sounds like a great deal, so we had to get 2 lunch specials. I believe that Pad Thai is one of their most popular dishes. The Pad Thai was very flavorful and appetizing. It tasted sweet, tangy, savory, and nutty all at the same time. The thin rice noodles were cooked perfectly and mixed well with all the ingredients. As for the Pad See Ew, I loved the texture of the wide, flat rice noodles. Unlike the Pad Thai, this has a deeper and more savory flavor because of the soy sauce. Beef was the perfect protein to have in this dish. The Chinese broccoli also tasted great. It was nice to eat some pot stickers alongside the noodles. The pot stickers were super crispy and juicy. A sweet and sour sauce was served on the side, but I enjoyed the pot stickers more without the sauce. Solid spot for Thai food. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious, making it great for large groups and even small groups. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely check this place out for a quick meal. Parking here is free and plentiful in a large outdoor lot. Something about this restaurant I like is that there's plenty of space but not too much space. It's perfect for anyone who wants takeout, a quick bite, or dining in. It's moderately clean and has very wood/tropical like decorations, pleasant vibes overall. Only disclaimer is that the prices of menus would change as you can see from the menu adjustments provided in the pictures. We ordered two lunch specials, both came with complimentary pot stickers which were overall tasty, but nothing over the top. 1. Pad Thai Chicken Signature dish, bean sprouts, noodles, peanuts, all great mix of a great pad thai dish. This was no different as the ingredients were super tasty. The sweet & salty flavoring is absolutely perfect, there's not much to say about this dish as it's just super tasty & flavorful. Highly recommend ordering this dish. 2. Pad See Ew Beef Changed the chicken to beef option as our pad thai was chicken. This was just as good as the pad thai. The hints of vegetables definitely makes the dish a bit more "healthy" in a way. Not too salty, and very much a nice compliment to the pad thai. Beef is not too tough and very tender. Overall, Thaitwist is very underrated, decent quality food paired with decent service, nice environment, not much you can go wrong with. Ordered 2 dishes and both tasted good. The portion size is a little small compared to average price of $16-18 for stir fry noodles/ fried rice. Both dishes (drunken noodle and basil stir fry) were on the sweeter side but I like it. The spice level is pretty tamed for thai food so if you like things spicy, ask for extra spice. Service was pretty slow. Waited almost 20 min for 2 dishes when the restaurant wasnt even busy. There were only 5 tables or so. The space is nice, clean and quaint. The decor is cute and seating is well laid out. You are greeted at the door making for excellent service and seated quickly. I came in for lunch and waited less than 5min. I ordered the spicy basil chicken and it did not disappoint. The portions are great. I also had a lychee lemonade that I thought was refreshing . I only gave it a four because I noticed that when other customers came in, they were given their spice trio and I was not. Nevertheless, my server was great was attentive. My pb buddy and I decided to eat at thaitwist after morning drills. Thaitwist is a modern Thai restaurant at Chino Hills located next to Costco. It's spacious with outside seating and visible second floor. Decor is nice. We have their lunch specials. Pad Thai chicken and yellow curry. Yellow curry is what I have. It comes in a bento, salads, curry, rice, and dumplings for $12.99 Curry is sweet, salads, rice and dumplings are tasty. Portions in the bento is good. Excellent lunch deal. Service is friendly. The tamarind was well-balanced--not overly sour--and the noodles arrived impressively separated rather than clumped together, even after sitting for about 30 minutes. Every bite still tasted fresh, and a squeeze of lime really brightened the dish. The green curry had a wonderfully rich coconut aroma and paired perfectly with rice, but the ratio leaned heavily toward vegetables with noticeably little meat. Flavor-wise it was enjoyable, just not as balanced as I prefer. Pick-up took a bit longer than expected, even for a takeout order, though the food was hot and packaged well. The food's portion is filling; however, the Yellow Curry Chicken Lunch Special tastes unremarkable. Chicken is bland and boiled; curry's potatoes are chewy and dry; and yellow curry is very milky. Thankfully, the yellow curry sauce is well-spiced. Strangely enough, the accompanying salad and pot stickers tasted better than the Yellow Chicken Curry. The salad had crisp, fresh lettuce with a thick, sweet salad dressing. The pot stickers were stuffed and crisp. Yum! Unfortunately, the Thai Iced Tea is extremely generic. Its taste is very similar to canned Thai Tea in a grocery store. The service is business-like. The server is curt and professional. I waited nine minutes and 30 seconds for my orders. I arrived on a weekday (1:40PM). In addition, the Thaitwist (Chino Hills) ambiance is okay. I noticed bits of trash unswept underneath a nearby table; the furniture looked cracked and worn-down; and the location was very quiet. The location was also somewhat clean. The prices here are really good especially for their lunch special! I ordered a Tom Kha Noodle Soup with Chicken for about $13 and comes with gyoza as well. The broth was nice and creamy with a hint of spice, but I wouldn't mind more! Mushrooms they chose for the dish I was not too big of a fan of and I think the chicken was a little bland but still enjoyed the soup. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice was amazing. We were seated quickly, and it was quite nice inside though it can get packed during rush hours. There were family inside, so it was a casual spot for gatherings. For food, we got the pad thai chicken, spicy basil fried rice, and tom kha! When the food arrived, the portions were huge! My favorite was the tom kha as it was creamy and delicious with rice. Never been here so I didn't know what to expect! I played it safe and got the noodles with some steak and it was very very tasty! The service for lunch hour and a party of six was very good! My favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Staff is friendly and quick, this place does get quite packed during dinner times especially on the weekend and I can see why. Can't go wrong with amazing Thai food. Food does come out quicker than expected but it is always hot. Boat Noodle Soup- best I've had yet. If you don't like your broth sweet you may not like this. I love it- deep, rich, sweet, savory broth. Always comes out pipping hot! If it's not burning my mouth I don't want it. The rice noodle that is uses soaks up the broth while you eat it and I love that. Khoa Soi- broth is creamy and rich curry. Comes with deep fried noodles that adds the perfect amount of texture when mixed with the soft noodles. Spicy Catfish- wasn't spicy but flavorful. The sauce is paired well over rice. Roti & Curry- always nice and flaky, be careful it's pipping hot when it comes out. Spicy Basil Fried Rice- isn't really spicy but the basil adds depth to the fried rice. I am far from a giving reviews person, but this time it is different. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy Thaitwist and I have been customer for years. Just be aware that when you order some of the soups size large, you truly don't get the actual size that you would get if you dine in. It's half of the size but you pay full price. When I approach the owner about it she found any excuse but to take any accountability about it. Instead she told me she could reimburse me if I bring the already pored in my bowl at home soup back at the restaurant. ( I sent her pictures of the soup). We'll, that raised even more concerns to me... taking back food that has already left the restaurant. What would she do with soup someone already started eating at home? Resell it? Well that doesn't sound very appealing to me. I will let you guys have your own opinion about it. read more

Fast, affordable, and has a big menu. We walked in around 630pm on a Saturday and was able to get seated right away. The restaurant was very busy, but the table turn around is quick. The decor is very eclectic and adds character to the ambiance. The air conditioning was a little weak in the back where we were sitting so it got kinda stuffy. Overall, we enjoyed most of the dishes we ordered, but I would not recommend the Thai Twist salad as the flavors clashed and the salad was served warm. I also got the Khao soi which was just okay. Went here as soon as it opened for lunch! I was in the mood for thai food and my man recommended this place to satisfy my thai cravings! So glad we went! The first thing i noticed when i walked in were their cute christmas decor and a cool upstairs area for more customers! The lady taking our order was nice and attentive. The food was so good for the price . Honestly i would have paid more for it! We ordered the boat noodles and I didn't know what to expect. I've never had it before, but the best way I can describe the taste is it being a mix between vietnamese beef stew and pho. When it first came out, it was a little darker than I expected and I wasn't sure it would be good, but wow the flavor! 5/5 would order again. The pad thai I thought was the perfect mix of sweet, tangy and savory. I added some of the chili flakes and chili paste on the side for some extra spice which I feel really elevated it. The noodles were perfectly coated and chewy!! I was so full, but couldn't stop eating . 5/5 would order again. YUM. Lastly we ordered the spicy basil chicken over rice to round it all out and I thought this was also super tasty. 4.5/5. I think this could have had come with a little bit more rice because it got a bit salary at the end since the meat was so flavorful. The overeasy egg was perfectly cooked though! The runny yolk is the besttt. I'd say I'm pretty picky with my food, but this place will definitely book marked if I ever need my thai fix again. read more
