He shared with me that he earned his stripes through tending, literally thousands of marines in their base in Palm Springs. I'm so happy that our troops had the opportunity to be served by such an excellent person, excellent doctor, and so caring! To get a root canal is not a choice. You either need one or you do not. Choosing the right doctor, however, is an important choice. Dr. Sadek was thorough and kind throughout the whole process. He uses state of the art technology, including the smallest and most nimble microscope. Using his numbing needles and his tools, he performed a two hour root canal top to bottom on me. I usually stick with the same Hygienist for this, as I am a creature of habit. Then, my usual Hygienist was not available, and I wish they had told me this beforehand, and some other... person... did the cleaning, to the point that I can honestly say that she was DEFINITELY UNHAPPY with me!! I didn't know that a simple cleaning can HURT so badly!!! At any rate, I don't know what it was that I did wrong, or who I made angry enough to deserve this treatment, but I can take a hint. Earlier in the week I called about my appointment. Not only were they rude on the phone, they didn't address my concern. The lady on the phone stated that they would call me in basically hung up on me while I was still speaking. I called my insurance company because I was curious about in network and out network dentists. The Insurance told me BEWARE!! Even though the office might be in network, the dentist might not be! People, you need to find out who the dentist is and find out if he or she is in YOUR network. Needless to say the dental office never called me. I decided to call after hours and leave a message that I wanted to cancel my appointment for in the morning. I'm wondering why they didn't call me. Was it because they were not in network? Did they think because once I got in the office, I would say oh just do it anyway? I don't know ‍ I canceled the appointment and now I'm going to research it a little bit more.
