I've came here a few times, and in the beginning they were so kind. I came here for myself the office staff was very nice. I'm not sure if they've changed their staff but the people making the phone call appointments with the bad attitude was such a turn off that I'm looking at other dental offices. I tried to request three appointments through their calendar and I've only received a call about one a few months later then she said if I don't cancel ahead of time there's an 100 dollar charge ON top of the receptionist telling me they stopped using the calendar ON THEIR WEBSITE. How is anyone supposed to know they don't use their own website Calendar anymore?? And why is the calendar on their website still up then? She's telling me this being passive aggressive the entire time. Treating patients like that gets you no where, it makes them want to not continue to go there despite the actual doctors being kind. My daughter broke her tooth over Labor Day weekend. When I called the main line, they were closed, but I find it amazing that there was a number I could call to reach Dr Todd. He had me send pictures and scheduled me between patients with our dentist Dr Reel. My kids love, love, love Dr Reel and the staff as a whole. How was my child smiling after her tooth was pulled? That is the magic of Dr Reel and everyone who made her feel so relaxed. This picture is her sitting in the chair after the procedure was finished. She was so proud of herself and I was able to be in there the whole time with her. Dr Reel even checked up to see how she was doing. I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice, clean little family owned and operated dentist who seems to really care about patients and not just lining their own pockets with cash from fillings. I am never going to back to a Smiles dentist after a billing nightmare and these guys were fairly close and took my insurance so i thought I'd give them a go. They do the old school style cleaning (ie a real cleaning with the little pick- the modern places do virtually nothing). It was gentle and fast yet EXTREMELY effective i was shocked how much coffee stains came off . They did not try to sell me a bunch of fillings or take my wisdom teeth. Everyone here is so friendly and kind. It's been hard finding a good dentist. My old dentist couldn't find why my tooth has been hurting or why I'm sensitive to cold drinks. This review is specifically for Dr. Reel I've been going to this office since I was a kid and it was brown DDS I loved Dr. Brown but unfortunately he retired and my favorite office manager Stacy left too which was almost the last straw for me until Dr. Reel came and totally changed my mind. She's been so patient with my Invisalign and no matter how many questions or concerns I have she always makes sure I'm satisfied. She's awesome never pushy and always makes me feel comfortable. Too bad I have to write this review. Our family liked going to this office. Dentist went out of network w our insurance and didn't let us know . They should have let us know before our appointment. They could have sent out an email , text message, or something. My husband had his usually teeth cleaning that should have been 100% covered, and weeks later, we get a bill . I called office to inquire about the bill 2x . 1st call about my bill, they just said my coverage changed & no mention that they were no longer in network w my insurance. The 2nd call to pay the bill I asked the same questions again . This call they let me know it was because they went of network w my insurance. My insurance did not make this choice the dental office did. 2 or so yrs ago , I had to change my insurance to stay in network w them and I would have changed my insurance again to a in network provider to stay w them if i had been notified about the network change . I complained to the office person about this bill . Why would they not let us know before our appointments ? . She said nothing they could do and no supervisor for me to talk to. Grudgingly paid my bill . Bad business practice. My family & I will find a new dentist read more

My friend was in tooth pain and referred by a neighbor who works there as a dental hygienist to give her word if my friend switch to her office she would be taken care of. The office did nothing but referring my friend to a root canal specialist. My friend ends up still in tooth pain and can't get a teeth cleaning done after three times scheduled appointments of being there. Not only it was difficult to schedule a regular cleaning in months, but also the hygienist neighbor has been gossiping about my friend's personal and dental issues with the whole office. It's very unprofessional unethical. It's really the true color of this gossiping hygienist neighbor who has never helped anyone but loves to talk about people behind their backs regardless it's Neighborhood or office. read more

Anyone who is hesitant about these five stars review, HAVE NO FEAR. I would 10/10 recommend this clinic to ANYONE who asks (or doesn't). I was in town for my wedding and I visited my dentist in the area to get my final Invisalign check/retainers. I also wanted to straighten out my front tooth because it had chipped in the Invisalign process since I used to bite my nails. It made me super self conscious especially since I was going to be taking a ton of photos for my wedding this weekend and it had been bothering me since I got my attachments taken off. I had asked my dental clinic if they could even it out, but the dentist was not in so they weren't able to do anything for me... I was definitely 110% freaking out and so so sad. My dental office referred me to Beachwood Dental and Dr. Todd answered the phone. He so willingly accepted me last minute and really tried to work around my hectic schedule. I was late since I was running last minute errands and didn't expect them to take me so quickly (I called Thursday early afternoon, they told me to come in later that afternoon!). They were still able to fit me in with such warm attitudes and smiles. Dr. Todd, Stacy, and everyone in the office were so lovely, really (& I definitely don't say that lightly). They were able to fix me up (I couldn't even tell the difference!!!) and sent me on my way. Beware of this dental office. We have been going to this office for over 10 years before it was sold to Beachwood Dental. We were very pleased with there work, especially with Dr. Wilson. He left during the transition by force or by choice, I don't know. My wife's dental insurance was to expire on June 1, 2018. So I made an appointment to have my teeth examined before June 1st. X-rays were taken in April and found that the only work needed was a new Crown. It was installed in May 2018. The tooth never felt normal like my other teeth. I thought I would give it several weeks to see if it improved. It was a little sensitive to the touch. I called Beachwood and explained the problem. Went in the 1st week of June to be examined. They took 1 x-ray and found that I needed a "Root Canal". It was going to cost "ME" $1,200. I asked why wasn't it included when the Crown request was submitted to the insurance company in April. They said a root canal was not needed at that time. The tooth was sensitive from day 1 when it was installed. A Root Canal does not develop overnight. I believe Beachwood misdiagnosed the x-rays and did not report that a Root Canal was also required. Sad that a business treats its customers this way. We would have given it 5 stars also over the past years because of the great work of Dr. Wilson. I've got Delta Dental through Costco and found that a Root Canal costs only $425.00. Beachwood wants $1,200, way over priced if you have to pay for your dental costs. Just stay away from this place and go to another dental office. read more

The hygienist only uses the "Scraponater" (the ultrasonic tooth cleaner/scraper) on the heavy deposits not for the whole cleaning job. That thing feels like I'm scraping my teeth on a blackboard. The cleaning job is almost always done completely by hand. Then there is the digital X-Ray machine. Precious little radiation compared to the regular kind and the view is almost 3D. Teeth all bright and shiny, quick and painless. What more can you ask for? read more

Been coming here since I was 7 or 8 to see Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown has always taken care of my family. I met Dr. Todd last year and I have no doubt that he and his brother will continue to look after us as well! I love the staff. They're like my extended family. My family and I have be going to Dr Brown's office for years! I have been elsewhere for insurance purposes and nothing compares to Beachwood Dental. I was so excited to go back this past week. Let me just start by saying I have had nothing but horrible experiences with dentists in the past. I was afraid of going back due to thinking I was going to need a ton of work. I found Beachwood Dental on yelp and decided to give it a shot. I received some xrays and come to find out I just had one small cavity! (Phew) Next Robin cleaned my teeth...I had warned her how sensitive I was and she was extremely gentle and careful. She kept asking if I needed breaks or needed her to reapply the numbing gel. After my cleaning they scheduled an appointment for me to get my cavity filled with Dr. Patrick. They went over the cost of the filling before I left so I wouldn't be hit with any surprise bills. Fast forward to today (my filling) and nothing short of a great experience. My last dentist had to give me several shots to numb me throughout my last filling and they still didn't completely work! Dr. Patrick gave me only one shot (which didn't hurt) and it worked the first time. He explained that theirs contained smaller molecules that better absorb in the bone. I felt NOTHING. His assistant Jessica and him worked fast and efficiently together while constantly checking if I was okay or needed any breaks (I did not). When the filling was done he made sure everything felt normal by having me bite on paper and him polishing the tooth over and over until everything was perfect. If you're like me and scared of the dentist, please see Dr. Patrick. He is so nice, gentle and caring. He did an amazing job and I will refer him to everyone I know. read more
