Great dinner at Sear House Grill in Little Falls. You can't best this upscale, swanky, classic Italian restaurant for a memorable meal. From their vibrant, classy bar to their comfortable dining area you just can't beat the ambiance of this place. Also, thanks to the wait staff for the very friendly, welcoming, and highly attentive service. And not to forget my meal; my rib filet mignon was perfectly prepared, mouth waveringly delicious, tender, juicy and flavorful. Thanks for the invite from my host who prefers to stay off social media.

If you're looking for a great place for lunch I recommend coming here. We have been here before for dinner but the lunch menu and service is amazing. We tried the pre-fixe lunch menu and it was excellent. The filet mignon was delicious so well seasoned and melted like butter. The branzino was spicy enough and so good. The quality and experience is worth it. It's beautifully decorated which lends to a relaxing atmosphere. There is tons of parking so no excuses.

A very elegant and fine dining experience. The restaurant and bar has a NYC feel that you can now get in NJ (at NYC prices hah) but overall it was a great experience. Started with an old fashioned as we looked through their extensive menu. Ended up trying French onion soup, lobster bisque, calamari, grilled octopus for appetizers. The calamari was outstanding and the soups were really good too. Lotta cheese on the soup but well done. The octopus I enjoyed but definitely a little bit more fishy tasting than the calamari. For entrees, I had the Tomahawk for two, sirloin, scallops, shrimp scampi and seafood linguine (came with red sauce btw). Everything was really good, the steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned very very well. Couldn't complain and honestly the sirloin really surprised me compared to the tomahawk. Cant go wrong with either one. There's valet (which I found out after is optional), or you can park yourself. Make reservations and enjoy yourself

We used to be loyal customers at Al Basha for years, but recent political displays there prompted my family to look for a new go-to spot. We are so glad we made the switch. The food and atmosphere at Dervish exceeded our expectations, and this is officially our new favorite restaurant in Wayne. Highly recommended!

We've gotten their mixed platters (for 2 and for 4 in a bigger party) which always includes lamb chops, chicken chops, doner, shish kebab, chicken kebab, Adana and a Turkish meatball alongside rice/bulgur and cheesy bread, red cabbage pickle, and salad. Always fantastic with meats cooked to utter perfection. We've also tried the yogurtlu doner with tomato sauce which is solid, but not my fav. Shepherds salad seems unassuming but is FANTASTIC. Hummus is mid-tier but passable. Adana Kebab is absolute perfection and a little spicy and delivers very well too. We also tried their onion kofte kebab special which I wasn't sure about at first since I'm not a huge fan of lamb that tastes like lamb but it grew on me fast -- a little sweet and sour, tangy, and extremely rich from the fattiness in the meatballs. Truly a perfect plate, though perhaps not everyone's cup of tea. The service is always attentive and not overbearing. The restaurant is massive, clean, and always has patrons -- very cute interior and lots of booth options (yay!) Desserts are solid though I feel they are a touch overpriced. I enjoyed the ice cream and the lava cake. Dervish has become a staple in our comfort food rotation.

Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing due to poor service. Our server, a shorter male who I believe was named Ricardo, took our order. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and yuca fries. After waiting 25 minutes, I asked a staff member serving steak to check on the order, and he agreed. After 45 minutes, I followed up again with another staff member, a woman with reddish hair in a ponytail, and asked her to check with the kitchen. After waiting over an hour with no update, when she passed back, I informed her that I no longer wanted the food, and she acknowledged my request. Throughout this entire time, our server never once checked in on us. When he finally came to the table, I confirmed that my order had been canceled, and he said yes. He then proceeded to tell us that cooking takes time and that we needed to be patient. I dine out regularly and understand reasonable wait times, but the lack of communication and follow-up was unacceptable. The comment made by our server felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially given the circumstances. Overall, this experience did not meet expectations, and I will likely just stick to New York in the future.

My husband put our name in for a party of four and gave his phone number for the text notification but the hostess accidentally entered us as a party of two. Thankfully, the table that was ready was large enough for four but it could have caused an issue. As a note, she remembered and realized she mistyped it and apologized immediately. Our waiter was friendly, though the service had a few hiccups. My chicken quesadilla (which I ordered as my entrée) came out well before everyone else's meals. When boxing leftovers, he asked whether I wanted the sides, sour cream, and salsa included. I said no, but when I opened the container the next day, everything had been packed together anyway. Food: The chicken quesadilla was delicious and generously filled with shredded chicken. Drinks: The frozen strawberry margarita was excellent. It was filled to the brim and stronger than what you typically get at a restaurant. Overall, I'm chalking the service issues up to it being a busy Saturday night. We'd still happily return to Jose Tejas whenever we're in the area.

The food is the reason I'm writing this review. Ordered the Cajun popcorn shrimp for appetizer and it was beyond salty. The sauce helped but the salt was the extent of the taste. My wife had the fish fajitas and I had the pulled chicken tacos for lunch with fries. The fries were over fried like chips but the pulled chicken tacos was downright not right there was a chicken pot outlets chicken with a taste to the chicken. I had one bite put it down and pushed the plate away. I was done. My wife ate some of her fajita with her comment being that it's was really spicy. I asked for the check. The waiter asked us for boxes. Seeing that we didn't eat the food we said we weren't taking anything. I told him to have someone check the chicken as it's not right and he said he would let them know. He came back with the check I paid the full check and again mentioned to the waiter that someone should really look into the chicken as someone will get sick and we left. My wife was upset as she was upset I paid the sill receipt but my point is the following. Reputable locations who take their businesses serious pay attention and monitor their patrons. Ultimately without them they don't have a business. Your representative taking care of us saw we barely touched the food if at all. This is not normal at an eating establishment and your only concern was that we didn't want to take the food home. Following my warning on the food there was no concern just collect your check and rip. Enjoy the hundred bucks we will never be back. Left a star as I couldn't post with none.

I dragged my boyfriend here for one reason: the Endless Shrimp. He likes shrimp and can't resist those cheddar biscuits, so he didn't fight me on it.We got seated instantly, but that was just a trap. Then began the endless waiting. The place was clearly understaffed, so we were just sitting there ignored for a while. Once our waitress actually did acknowledge our existence and started paying attention to us, she was great. It definitely wasn't her fault; the kitchen was the real disaster zone. To save time, we blurted out our drink and food orders all at once.Right as we finished ordering, the couple at the next table got their first round of shrimp. Cool. Then we waited some more. And more. Then came the psychological torture. We had to sit there, starving, watching this couple casually smash their second round of shrimp before we even smelled our first. Do you know how horrifying it is to watch people get refills on the exact food you're starving for? Truly an agonizing experience. After 40 minutes of this, we finally asked why the neighbors were living in luxury while we had nothing. The excuse we got was just completely bizarre: "Oh, seconds come out faster because they don't have sides." Wait, what? It's the exact same shrimp! Logic had completely left the building. Honestly, I'm convinced this is just their corporate strategy. I guess it's technically "Endless Shrimp" if you're forced to sit there for five hours just to get two plates. Brilliant business model. Naturally, we immediately ordered our seconds right then and there. When the food finally crawled out of the kitchen, it was actually really good. Our waitress did a fine job, but the kitchen was clearly running on dial-up internet speed. Also, our first basket of biscuits was rock hard and stale, but the second batch was actually warm and soft.
