Shane texted me the day before the appointment. He informed me that arrival time would be between 7:30 and 9:30 am. He finally arrived about 9:45. Shane is an unusual individual to put it mildly. He is difficult to understand when he tries to explain what the problem is. The final analysis was that my dryer would be too expensive to repair. I am extremely disappointed in the entire process. To start-I could only speak to a computer. I was then told it was a special rate of $109 (at least 4 times) but was charged $139. When I called to question the bill, it was stated that the tech would adjust the amount. He of course said he couldn't adjust the price. I put an explanation of the problem, a picture of the part and the model # in the pre-visit form. The tech arrived-said he never receives any of the info or pictures from the company??? He confirmed what I had stated was the problem but he told me that the part is no longer available. He was unable to fix my refridge but i still had to pay for the visit-despite the fact that had anyone read my paperwork (that they requested before the visit)-they would have known the part was no longer available. Shane thoroughly checked out the issue with my aging Frigidaire washer in a timely manner. He was able to give me a cost estimate on all of the parts that were needed for the repair. It was easy to see that it was cheaper to buy a new washer. Shane recommended a low cost LG model and advised me on questions to ask the dealer regarding installation, delivery, and haul away costs. Made an appointment in sometime in December 2024 for Dec. 27 - "between 8 am and 5 pm" for a clothes washer repair. Technician arrived around mid-day and spent much more time talking about himself and his life history than diagnosing the problem. Then, without opening the machine case. he ordered some parts, claiming he knew what the problem was. The technician then made another appointment for January 10 (approximately 2 weeks later) for completion of the repair. The parts arrived a couple of days later. Jan 10 has come and gone with no repair. The best Sears can do, after my spending more than a half-hour on the phone with several hard-to-understand people with heavy accents, is to have me wait another two weeks for an appointment (again "between 8 and 5"). I'm beyond Pissed! This is not the kind of service I expected by paying $60 a month for a service contract and $100 for a visit from a technician, especially when the listings for Sears Home Services say, in multiple places, "Same/Next Day service". We had a lg fridge that was purchased in july 2016. They told us that it was under warranty for 5 years oarts and labor. When the service compamy showed up A&E service an outside contractor they said the labor wasn't under warranty. So they told us it would be $450 for labor but it we buy the extended warranty for $49 a month they would only charge $228. This is a scam with further investigation the warranty for the compressor was extended to 7 years in 2018 because LG knew that there was a problem with this also verified by the service at A&E . The service at sears and A&E should know about this and ignored it just to make some extra monies. I will not pay this and the monies should be collected fromLG Richard Harrod read more

Terrible!!! Our 2 year old Bosch Dishwasher stopped working and we had your repair man look at it. Every time we ran it the breaker would trip. He didn't spend anytime at all poking around, didn't take anything apart or run any tests. Confidently told me it was broken and I needed a new one. I ordered a new dishwasher and had it installed and the same problem happened. I did not need a new dishwasher...I needed a $20 electric breaker and I ended up paying $1500 for repair service/new dishwasher/ and install when I tried to get my old dishwasher back 2 days later, it had been crushed. read more
