The tech that fixed our ice maker was great. Very professional and knew what he was doing. That was not he case with the tech that came out to access the problem. Seemed more interested in accessing our property than the refrigerator and I'm not convinced the replaced valve was the problem since the tech that fixed the problem had to thaw the line after replacing the valve before it would work. read more

Logan is excellent, we have had issues getting our washer fixed with multiple cancelled appointments, technician no-shows, nothing got resolved until a supervisor chimed in, otherwise, the repair service does absolutely nothing about these issues and there is a tech - Mohammed Nasim, he is the worst, IF he shows up, he doesn't order the parts causing more delays - Sears warranty service is the worst, but thanks to Logan, he fixed our washer. read more

We had a leak in two hoses and housing in our Kenmore refrigerator. First tech had to order parts and a second tech came out and could not hook up hoses because there was a leak in the housing, ordered the housing came back and told me the new part was defective and told me he would order a new one but somehow it was not ordered. The third tech Claudio came out and the part was not ordered so he it ordered it and came out two days later and repaired refrigerator. Would have loved to have had Claudio from the beginning as I'm sure this would have been resolved in two days rather than 7 days. He was efficient and thorough. Very expensive cost for this repair, in retrospect, we should have invested in a new refrigerator. read more

Although your technicians are excellent, Sears relies too heavily on AI for service activities. The initial AI diagnosis of 3-4-2025 was incomplete and caused a series of delays due to the wrong parts being ordered. This caused a simple microwave repair to take nearly two and a half months. My inquiries during this period lead AI to transfer me to an overseas human representative. The process was not fair to me or the overseas representative, as it did not lead to resolution of my warranty repair needs. This simple microwave repair took nearly two and a half months and involved three different technicians. This process included at least two separate last-minute repair cancellations by Sears. These cancellations were frustrating for me as I had rearranged my schedule to accommodate the technician's timeframe. Sears should re-evaluate its warranty service procedures and not sidestep responsibility by relying so much on AI. read more

Technician didn't show up in the timeframe scheduled twice... First time is automatically rescheduled after a text was sent saying he was coming... When called after the second time not showing up, he tried to cancel saying he felt concerned for his safety because I was upset he didn't show up.... I wasn't upset but wanted communication from him especially since I have to rearrange my work schedule and days to accommodate the repair... Your system....AI driven is terrible! I reached out to Sears whem my stove stopped working after our solar panels were installed. We didn't know what the issue was but the technician who came out was able to pinpoint the issue and recommended a course of action to have it remedied (solar panel installers should have replaced our electrical panel prior to installation). Once that was fixed, the tech came out again and did an inspection, clearly explaining what the issue was and what next steps would be. The required part was ordered and in less than a week from the inspection, our stove was fixed. Both technicians were kind, professional, and patient. Sears' phone system is automated, so you're left hoping and wishing for someone to eventually come and fix your appliance. On the fourth attempt, David came and repaired my microwave. He was professional and resourceful in completing the job. My one-star rating isn't aimed at David or Miguel--it's directed at Sears for their AI-driven communication issues between customers and staff. The Rating reflects the overall experience of using "Sears Appliance Repair" The first technician mis diagnosed the problem and never checked the machine for normal operation before he left. The second technician correctly diagnosed the problem and we determined that it was not worth it to fix. The second technician noted on the service slip that this was a Mis-Diagnosis. Now the struggle is getting a refund for the parts and service that was not needed - around $700. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT to get a human on the phone from Sears. I have yet to figure out how to do this after 15-20 phone calls all answered by a recording and leading to nowhere. The scheduling system is equally problematic. There was a failure in inputting our email into the initial request for service. All the phone recordings and questions push you back to the email - which never was entered. VERY FRUSTRATING!! ALSO - the part that were ordered from the technician had a near %100 mark-up from the Sears Parts Direct on line store - This is unacceptable. read more
