Had an appointment today. They said they would be there by 9:44. They never showed nor called. I called the 800 # several times. Each time the time was moved later and later. They still had never contacted me about any delay. 5:15pm came. They never showed up. Poor service. I took today off from work to have my washer repaired. read more

Calling Sears Appliance Repair means you can be confident in your repair! You know for sure the service requested will be addressed. For me, my oven quit heating on Sunday and I scheduled and was able to obtain an appointment on Tuesday! Not sure you can always get such quick turnaround but wow! It was great because I then received an automated message asking for the model of my oven and then multiple questions about the issue of the problem. This raised my confidence about the service call. And it indeed worked about perfect. The associate had an idea of what the issue was and after speaking with me, went right to work. He replaced the suspected part which he had on hand and before much time the oven was working. What was also awesome having Sears, he taught me things I did not know about my oven despite owning it and using it for over 20 years! He taught me option on the stove that are better to use and why. He also told me tips on what happens when this part is going out. We discussed appliances in general issues on different brands and tips in general. It was really beneficial use of my time. I really appreciated his knowledge. His work and his time made me feel I got good value. And it's a good feeling to fix an appliance verses just getting new since it is so much better for the environment. Not only saving me money but all the fossil fuels in shipping appliances over the ocean, to the big box stores and ultimately to my home. read more

Antony is the best always! Our address has been goofed up by our county.... no we have not moved in 34 yrs. But are on our 3rd address. The county in all 9f their wisdom have us marked at the opposite end of town on all the online maps. He notified me that nobody was home. I reached out and explained nope we had not moved. He came back and still did our service call. When I see his name on our service orders I am always relieved. Knowledgeable, good advice given on how to work your appliances mor efficiently. Always considerate of the customers needs etc. I would give him a 10 if that was offered. So a solid 5 since that is your top #. read more

Sears Home Protection- AES provider. Michael was pleasant and likely skilled at appliances and hvac, but he was unable to even attempt a diagnosis and repair. He stated he had little Lennox experience; had not worked on a heat pump in ten years; and his company policy was to not touch any system that had a nest digital thermostat. As such he did a walk around and respectfully excused himself. There was no service performed. The environment was fully disclosed in advance and every utility company drives people to have a nest or comparable digital thermostat to save the environment and energy cost. Was disappointed to say the least in the service capability. He was prompt and professional otherwise. read more

Sears Home Warranty is also know as Cinch Home Warranty or A & E Appliance Services. The warranty service which we pay $56.99 a month plus a $100 for each service call appears to be a scam. We have been under the warranty plan since March 7, 2023 and are obligated to make payments for 1 year. Our refrigerator is unrepairable, determined after 3 service calls to replace 3 parts. We have been without a refrigerator since May 1, 2023. Cinch has promised to replace it but the number given to arrange the replacement I888-331-4573) is out of service. All our attempts to check on our claim status puts us in a loop of emails and recorded messages. We have been unsuccessful in reaching a live person to resolve this matter. read more

We had an appointment earlier in the month. The technician never showed up and never informed us that he wouldn't be arriving or why he didn't show up. I'm not sure if it's the same technician but he looks like the technician that was pictured in the tracking info on the day of the appointment. However I don't have access to the picture anymore. Mike was prompt & replaced the icemaker in our frig quickly! He was very friendly & nice to talk with.

The repairman told us our home warranty claim will be denied because our 2 year old refrigerator should be covered by the manufacturer. After (Andrew) left we called GE; the customer service rep said the failed compressor is only covered for 5 years if a Profile model of which ours is not. I texted and called the Sears technician immediately he has been unresponsive. We have tried several times to rebook Sears both through Choice Home Warranty and calling Sears directly but after several days have received no support. read more

I am 100% positive that the repairman could have handled the repair required. My complaint is that parts were not on hand and when I submitted my request to have someone out to look at my snowthrower no questions were asked prior to dispatch so already the repair person is going into a situation empty handed. He did diagnose the problem and removed the broken part and did tighten up my auger position which I appreciated. In his defense he did check local store for part required but didn't fix the issue and showed me how to fix the machine after I received the part which I appreciated as well. Just didn't like spending almost 200 dollars to tell me they didn't have parts on hand and I will have to fix it myself or spend more money to have another repairman to come back out and fix it professionally. read more

I had a service call to look at a refrigerator that had quit working. When they got here, it had started working again. Could not pin point problem. Said it may have been a hic up, compressor or electronic control board. For the next 2 days we could not get ice maker to work,.Pulled fridge out and cover was put on wrong, missing 2 screws and the ice maker water line was pinched so no water was getting in. Not very happy for a $100.00 service call. read more

Ordered a refrigerator and dishwasher in July. They delivered it in October on a Saturday. They said they couldn't install on Saturday because they didn't know what time it would arrive. I informed them I had the time of delivery they said they wouldn't install on Saturday. They would install on Tuesday. I said no because I was having surgery that day. And had dr appointments and a hospital visit this week. Now they said I canceled the install and won't install the dishwasher. So I have a dishwasher in my living room. I don't recommend doing business with sears. read more

They arrived on time and quickly figured out the problem, my issue was the labor charge to install the new pump. It took 5 minutes to install I watched him do it, labor charge $ 210.00 seems way out of line. read more

The ice maker on my refridgerator was acting up and the ice was melting into one large cube this caused the ice tray to break when the auger pushed ice thru the door. I called Sears and bought the extened repair foe the ice maker because I knew the tray was expensive without the service call, total was $249 with one yr coverage on the ice maker. A week later my new tray arrived and I installed it, service tech. said I was using the freezer wrong and that caused ice problem. Three days later same problem of ice melting all together, called Sears again week later different tech. came. He found the ice maker was leaking water into the cube tray, removed cleaned and tried to seal with sealant and said if it still acts up the whole ice maker would need replaced. Two weeks and same problem, called Sears refering to notes of second tech. third tech. came three days later without a new ice maker, looked at the problem and ageed new unit was needed, guess he didn't trust his own comrade. Ordered ice maker and five days later he came back to install. When he opened the box the new unit was damaged in shipment an he robbed parts off old one to get new unit running. All the tech. wanted was to sell me whole home warranties, it took four servce calls and close to five weeks to fix my ice maker, I can only imagine the middle of January waitng on them to repair a furnace. At least the Sears people who answer the phones are friendly and pleasant the actual service is horrible. Never again, they broke me of sucking eggs! read more
