I asked why I wasn't told this 6 months ago when we scheduled the appointment. All they could say is that the call center should have done that. I could have scheduled an appointment at another optometrist, but now I'll likely have to wait another 6 months to see a different office. Looking at the other reviews, it looks like they do this to a lot of other folks too.

I had never been there and was a little shocked that the receptionist gave me part of my eye exam. Then sat me in a room with a tv monitor and said the doctor will be with you soon! Yep! Sure enough the doctor comes on the tv screen, has me read some letters and that was it. I go out into the store pick out my glasses, get transition lens, anti glare, anti scratch. She said it will be less than 2 weeks and that will be 322.00 after insurance. Roughly 4 weeks later I picked up my glasses. One week later the lens fell out and I took them back to be fixed. I told the girl I was having a hard time seeing and she said that I just needed to get adjusted to them. My eyes are getting worse with bad headaches so I end up getting another eye appointment at another doctor ( a real live doctor). It took her less than 20 minutes to tell me I have large cataracts in both eyes. I had them test my glasses from Stanton and she said there was barely a prescription in them, that they weren't much more than readers! Now I'm looking at having to have surgery that I could have possibly had 3 months ago! I'm waiting to hear back from Corporate to see about a reimbursement. Fingers crossed!

To the point of them being in-wearable. And all they can tell me is "well we can put anti-reflective lenses in for as low as 37$". Ridiculous! So I paid over 120 $ already for glasses, and now I can't wear them unless I pay more money ?? This place is the worst optometrist location I've ever been to. I've never had "anti reflective lenses" and never had this problem with lights. I would not recommend going here.

A month into the process I picked up my contacts anyway and asked for an update on my glasses. When a worker checked on my order then she told me they "might" be here sometime next week; I gave it another 2 weeks and then called the store to ask about them again, and apparently they were there in store/ ready and no one notified me. To be honest, I think my order was never fully 'placed' in the first place and the first time I asked about an update is when the store started having them made (due to the timing). Which if that actually is the case, I would've preferred to know what was going on. When I finally did pick up my glasses one of the employees apologized saying he's "not sure how that happened" but suggested it was because I ordered 2 pairs of glasses (which I didn't) and then said it could've been because I ordered contacts in the order as well. What would that have to do with when the glasses come in? It's annoying to be gaslit about the mix-up as if it was a normal thing for them to take 2 months to get them to me. Facts are, this store doesn't communicate well with their customers or follow up on orders. This location seems disorganized/ overall not very knowledgeable.
