    Cold ass fries.
    Aserrado M.

We were greeted at the door by a very nice and friendly hostess. I asked her if there was space upstairs so she directed me to the elevator and told me to ask the waitress upstairs to be seated- we did. The waitress accommodated our request for a table that wasn't cleaned yet. She came and cleaned it and took our drink order. We were ready to order but she took a while to come back. We finally ordered food and drinks and were given 2 napkins total. When our food came our fries were cold and limp. The pizza was ok and the fish was pretty good! But again... cold fries on the second plate. Our drinks ran dry and our napkins exhausted- we needed attention. It was NOWHERE to be found. But they helped everyone around us! ??? I asked a different server for a couple if boxes to take food home, he never even came back! Wtf? After an hour of trying to leave this place, I was so pissed. My girl got up and went to the bar to ask for boxes and our bill, so I wouldn't explode. They gave no f*cks. Too bad! I tend to tip more than my F&B bill, which in this case was about $86. At this point I will give no f*cks either, nor will I ever return to this establishment, even if it were free. Sad indeed...

I stopped in on a Saturday for some food and drinks. I was greeted by the hostess who told me that the bar is open seating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We found seats at the bar right away in front of the tv so we could watch the soccer games.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food looked very basic and mediocre so I opted for just French fries. The fries were served cold which was disappointing and when I asked for a side of ranch (asked about 4 times with 3 different people) they finally brought it....... But it was blue cheese. My margarita was water down. We ended up paying the bill and left to eat somewhere else. Since it's located on the pier, you can park in the beach parking lot or a nearby parking structure which was a short walk.

This restaurant was located on Santa Monica pier. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a pretty view from the top and that was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, the food very underwhelming. We got the margarita, pizza and the garlic bread. The margarita pizza only has three ingredients and they forgot one of the ingredients. It was very bland and not great. The garlic bread was even a little more surprising because it lacked really anything special. You get two little pieces of garlic bread and it's more like it has a slightly garlic flavor. Our main waiter was very nice, but it did take a little while to order.

Came for the Happy Hour since it's six dollar all beers. I got The Fishbowl since I'm not a beer kinda lady. The hostess showed us how to get to the rooftop, super sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The rooftop is niceeee. Especially on the weekday between 11-2pm . It was so dead when we arrived.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our bartender/server was so sweet. She was doing it all on her own. It started getting busy almost pushing 3pm. Each table was filled. She was doing everything by herself. Props to her!!! I was waiting till a Karen came so I can have her back! Would come again to try their food, looks great.

Parking sucks. I can't say that enough. Don't even try to get in the lot. We parked on the street 20 minutes away. They had a carnival on site that we checked out. We didn't participate but watching was fun. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was cold but it was nice to look out into the ocean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We stopped at Seaside on the Pier for drinks and didn't realize they have a bar upstairs with outdoor seating perfect for enjoying the sunshine and a beautiful day![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartender was amazing and gave us great service. My fiancé and I had a piña colada that was to die for, and we also shared a fish bowl drink both were delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had such a good time relaxing and enjoying the people and energy around us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of our friends ordered food and got the lobster BLT, which she devoured and said was absolutely delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a fun hangout spot if you want drinks and a great view of the pier from above![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We returned to Seaside on the Pier for lunch. Traffic and parking was tough -- we arrived 20 minutes late for our reservation. The gentleman in front was so nice to dismiss the issue and did not hesitate to accommodate our request for rooftop seating. The rooftop was at capacity. We had to wait at the bar for a few minutes until a table cleared. Our server then seated us at a nice corner table along the edge. We asked to start with the Margherita Pizza, then the Meatball Sandwich and Fish Tacos for our mains. Everything came out at the same time and disappointingly lukewarm. Flavors were good overall but could have been better if our food was served hot/fresh. The Fish Tacos could really be great -- the pineapple pico de gallo and spicy aioli are delicious. The fries though continue to be a problem here -- just not cooked well enough. On a good note -- Service was very good today, much improved from our last visit. It's unfortunate that the food wasn't as good. The views are always great but I'm not sure if we'll be back.

Thank you to Joe, The General Manager, for providing us with an awesome service. Restaurant was packed for FIFA & he got my group of 8 a table, with an ocean view, immediately. Food was amazing and I will always make sure to stop by when in Santa Monica.

Overall not a bad place to grab food! Is it a tourist spot? Definitely! But it has a great location and the food was actually good! I had the bbq bacon burger which was actually really good and my bf did the lobster burger. He had never seen lobster on a burger before so he had to get it, and he really liked it. The service was on the slower end, but pretty on brand for beach spots.

Came to this place off the pier as we waited for our table to be ready at Bubba Gumps. Didn't have a wait and was the only bar within view and walking distance. Was able to come in on a Sunday early afternoon (1pm ish) and was immediately sat at the bar. I'd say the bar was half full, and they had 6-7 waiters and bar tenders coming in and out of the bar. That being said, we didn't get any service or greeting until maybe 10-min after we sat. We had to ask for our own menus and flag down the wait staff and bar tenders for our orders. I get that they have an outdoor seating area that could have been packed, we couldn't see from the bar, but the inside of the restaurant looked not busy at all. I'd understand waiting because of needing to take care of the patio areas first, but at least give a greeting or drop some menus off and say "we'll get right to you" or something... The drinks we got were mid. We paid for pineapple special mixed drink and they said they were out of pineapples, but just happened to get pineapples come in after they made our drink, so the guests right next to us who came after got theirs in a pineapple. No worries at all, we preferred the glass, but at least give us a dollar or two off for not having the gimmick it came in. We were there for probably less than 40 min, 10-15 of it waiting to get helped and for our drinks (which the drinks did come out quickly after we ordered, so was a good thing. The waiting for service, not so much.) When the service ultimately came though, it was great! The guy who helped us was super friendly, very handsome and spent some time talking to us when he wasn't busy making drinks or preparing the pineapples (we never got) for other customers. I'd give this place another chance but honestly wasn't impressed my first go here. The server was the saving grace, and the location was nice. Would try to sit outside next time.

My husband and I came here to enjoy the pier and have a quick bite. We sat upstairs at the rooftop bar and were served quickly. I wish I could remember the bartender's name because they were great! Very chatty and made the drinks strong. The fish tacos were also really good. We had a nice time chatting with other patrons at the bar and just enjoying the sea breeze and views of the pier. Really lovely experience!

Stopped by on Thursday, 07/03/25 for the first time with my friend after work. Sat on the roof top and ordered the following: - 2 shots of tequila (patron silver) = $11 each, so $22 total - 1 gambino pinot grigio = $10 - 1 blood orange margarita = $14 - 1 french fries = $4.95 SUBTOTAL = $50.95 TAX = $5.23 TOTAL = $56.18 Wasn't there too long. The fries were mediocre. There was a small bug inside my friend's tequila shot - the lady gave him another one. Overall a great vibe at the Santa Monica Pier area.

Me and Jhoanna checked out Sea Side on the pier. It's a casual seafood restaurant with an interesting selection. Luis was very helpful and made sure we got our food at a decent time. I had a Nathan's Hot Dog and she had a shrimp po boi. The food and service was amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I only deducted a star because there's a homeless person charging their phone right behind us![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It was initially confusing when we arrived, because there was no host on shift, and we had to ask the barista inside where we should be going. After taking a peek in the actual downstairs basement tavern, we opted to sit outside under the eclectic mix of chandeliers, heat lamps, and lightbulbs, instead of the empty smoky basement. There was a live pianist playing in the front lawn, which was amazing and pretty much made the night. I don't know if it's a regular thing, but if it is, I'd definitely come back just for that. Probably since it was a weekday night, the place was pretty deserted, but we didn't mind - it was like a private show with plenty of seating options. The happy hour food was awesome. We got a bunch of appetizers to share, and there was plenty of food. Our favorite was probably the grilled octopus and calamari, and the brussel sprouts were amazing. The fish tacos and ceviche were not bad, but tasted basically the same. Our server was really sweet. In the future, I would come in a group of three since it seems like all the appetizers come in multiples of three and it would have been more easily shared between us.

Most of the bars are dive bars in downtown Santa Monica, and parking is quite accessible for this place. So I'd recommend for that reason. In terms of the drinks, I'm a huge fan of cocktail but I would say their menu selections are a bit limited. Nothing in the signature cocktail looks interesting to me, so I had the bartender make a classic cocktail instead. He's very attentive and friendly, didn't take forever to get a drink either, no attitude. Drinks aren't watered down either. Nice! You come here to grab quick drinks when you don't feel like being at a loud dive bar in the area, it's in a hotel but not too upscale, no strict dress code. Music is not loud and they have couches and booth if bar table if not your thing, you don't have to yell or pretend you hear everything to hold a conversation here (lol). ** Keep in mind 20% gratuity is automatically included in bill, it's my first time here. Wouldn't be self-motivated to come back because there are better places that specialises mixology, and there are also better upscale hotel bars to be at. The bartender showed me a menu which I could order food that will be delivered from The Brixton. Scan the QR code to order. "Sorry, we aren't accepting orders at the moment..." I guess I could finish my beer, pay my tab and go searching for something good to eat. She didn't know the Wi-Fi password neither because they changed the password. Why broadcast the guest Wi-Fi if you aren't going to make it available? There was no organizer for the meetup event. With only a handful of people here, do I want to wait for the karaoke session? It's time to go eat somewhere else.

The Lincoln House | (Utility Room) - 9/10…read more Hidden in the back of the Lincoln house the utility room is a quaint get away from downtown covina. The speakeasy is unique and even serves full menu of great food! Aesthetic & Ambiance: 9.5/10 - it was very prohibition themed and the menus being price/luggage tags was very fun. Came on a saturday night at 6:30 reservation and it was very quiet with us being the only table most of the evening. The outside restaurant has live bands which can be a little loud. Service: 100/10 - Markley was the bartender and the only one who operates the speakeasy, she's not only the best bartender Ive had custom drinks from, but she also makes each individual product herself. She explained every part of the drinks and ingredients, and even offered to make any kind of drink we'd want if there was nothing on her menu. Drinks: 10/10 - if you like cocktail bars this is it...EVERY drink was a unique in flavor and handcrafted by Markley from steep to serve. house-infused liquors and tinctures- ONE OF A KIND BAR Food: 8.5/10 - all around great some dishes better than others Bread & Butter - 9/10 great toasted sourdough with a garlic butter and the butter was perfect salty-addition. Calamari - 7/10 a little too breaded for my liking with the rings and tentacles being a little dry. Deviled eggs: 7.5/10 interesting they were fried, but had great flavor all over Mongolian Beef: 8/10 very good flavor, and rice was tasty, but the sauce was a little salty. Cajun chicken pasta: 9.5/10 chicken was tender, pasta was cooked perfectly, sauce was delicious, and the sausage was a great addition. I'd easily drive an hour from LA again to come here!

Energy goes way up with it though. Music is consistently great and the crowd matches it. Mostly a younger, high-energy vibe. If you actually want to enjoy your drinks and maybe chat with the bartenders, show up early. Once it gets going, it's all motion and noise. It's never disappointed us. You kind of know what you're signing up for, and it delivers every time. Ambiance leans classy without feeling vintage. Dim lighting, a touch of rustic, and just enough polish to set the tone without overdoing it. They've got a patio too, which comes in clutch when you need a breather or want to actually hear the person next to you. We usually do street parking and it's not too bad if you're willing to walk a bit. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. If you want to try something different and unique, this place is definitely worth visiting!

It had a cool vibe and tons of allocated bottles on the bar (tequila and whiskey and whisky to name a few categories). The staff greeted us quickly and supplied us with some menus. I opted for the Idyllwild cocktail and loved it! It had the most complementary flavors and was so refreshing with the bourbon, yuzu, chartreuse, honey, and lemon flavors. My husband opted for a neat Caballito Cerrero Puntas pour (high proof agave spirit). They only had 0.5 Oz for their bottle and only charged for the partial pour. People came in and ordered anything from cocktails to neat pours to flights. It was a cool spot and the bartenders seemed pretty well versed in different cocktails, giving a few suggestions to different patrons. Even making a few Espresso Martinis for a couple of girls that didn't really like their initial cocktails. Staff was cool, attentive, and pretty quick and efficient with the pours. I'd definitely be down to try more drinks here if we roll through again. Luckily, we found some close street parking and it wasn't super busy so we easily found parking in the area. It also wasn't super packed in the venue so we could've opted for other seating--lounge areas, a few tables, or just at the bar.

Appreciate that the bartenders were attentive and that the place wasn't too full or busy. Happy hour drinks are worth the price. The regular cocktails are good but cannot compare to more well known places. I liked that there were bar seats, standing tables and seated areas. I wish they had some bar snacks but because they don't offer food, you can bring your own.

We were immediately waited on which was nice. We decided to share dishes, and everything was ready delicious. - squash blossoms: these were a hit. Unlike many squash blossoms, these came out piping hot and crispy. Would definitely order these again. - agnolotti: I really liked this dish. It felt like, even though it is a pasta dish. Very cheesy too which made it even better. - hangar steak: this was good, but not my favorite of the three. My partner really enjoys steak, and he liked this dish though. Overall, Market is a great Italian restaurant in the heart of Venice Beach. It's very much a date night spot with its dark lighting and cozy setup. I'll definitely come back because there are quite a few dishes that we didn't try but I'd love to.

The ambiance was nice, but the two-top table was way too small for three dishes and our glasses. The food is served family-style here, but I don't understand why the tables are so small. It felt like a lack of attention to the overall dining experience. We barely had enough room for everything, as you can see in the photo. The service was below average. We asked them to light the candle on our table, but they took it away and never brought it back. We also asked for the grated cheese to be served on the side instead of on our pasta, but the kitchen added it directly to the pasta anyway. They also didn't check on us during the meal. The cheesecake was very good, but there weren't many by-the-glass wine options.
