Mike, the owner, took the time to personally help me, assess my situation, and explain exactly what needed to be done to get my pool back in shape. His knowledge and willingness to educate me were incredibly valuable. He provided clear, detailed instructions on how to properly care for my pool and answered all of my questions. To make sure I was comfortable with the process, Mike also sent his partner, Nick, to our home for a service call. He spent time walking me through the equipment, explaining maintenance procedures, and teaching me how to care for the pool moving forward. I had problem with my pool starting the season where the filter doesn't work and the robot doesn't work. Mike was so generous to come over after work to figure out what's wrong and fix i, and Nick and Mike were so great in helping me fix my dophin robot vacuum. If I could give a zero. We brought a $3000 heater and the product stopped worker after 1 season. The warranty only cover parts but the labor was ridiculous amount. I went to seasonal trying to explaining to the owner of South Attleboro store hoping they as a GOOD business would support their customers NOPE he gave me an attitude with no hope to rectify the product. I've never dealt with a business that rude. I truly advise you all to never buy anything from these crocks. Pool, supplies, and definitely pool heaters. Seasonal Specialty Stores of Attleboro is the BEST place you can go to for all of your pool needs. I am a first time pool owner, had another company come out to open my pool and had a horrible experience. They didn't explain anything about the process or check to see if my pump and filter were actually working.... 2 days later i realized something wasn't right because the pump pressure was very low and my sand filter was leaking. I called the store and spoke with Mike who came out that night at 6pm to look at everything and worked through every issue that I had until 8:30pm. He explained what things weren't working properly, the cause, and what we needed to do to fix them. He took things a part so I could visually see what was wrong and understand it better. He offered to go and get additional supplies and come back to finish the job that evening, even though it was almost 8pm. He has been NOTHING BUT HELPFUL and KNOWLEDGEABLE. He cares that you understand how to maintain your pool and does not take shortcuts. He doesn't make you feel stupid for asking questions and is happy to repeat things if you don't understand it the first time. He even called my husband the next day while he was trying to fix the remaining issues to walk my husband through the process and ensure he was doing everything correctly. I wasted 200$ on a recommended pool company to open my pool and wish I would have known about this place. He will tell you all the steps you need to know so you don't waste your money by having him come out if you really don't need it. They are not just out to make a quick dollar and leave. Amazing customer service, cannot recommend them enough! Will never go to any other pool store! Save your time, money, and frustration and come to Seasonal Specialty first!!!!!! read more

Just not good customer service. We bought something before the pandemic and then everything closed down. We didn't even want our money back, just a store credit so we could buy other stuff from their store. They just flat out said no. Oh well. I had previously posted a negative review. It along with other negative reviews have been taken down. I had a terrible experience at this store and will never go there again. They had sold me the wrong pillow for my pool. No big deal, but when I returned to the store to exchange it for the correct one, the manager, Mike, was extremely rude and condescending. He blamed me for buying the wrong one, even though it was his employee who gave me the wrong one. He told me that he would have trouble selling the one I returned because it had been opened (not my problem). He doesn't subscribe to the "customer is always right" philosophy. He exchanged the item any way. But by treating me the way he did, he lost a customer. The folks at the Seasonal in Foxboro are great. It is not an issue with Seasonal, just this store. I can not refer this store enough! The associates are so helpful and friendly. We recently bought a pool ladder and were having a hard time putting it together. I brought it into the store and Nick was SO HELPFUL! He quickly offered to help. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix the ladder within minutes! The best service of any pool supply store in the area! The staff are always very attentive and knowledgeable; and always do right by the customer. I went in there at the beginning of the season fully expecting to buy a new pool pump because mine had been making a terrible noise since last year. They told me to bring it in to see if they could repair it first before spending the money on a new one. In 3 days I had a call back that it had been fixed. For a fraction of the cost of a new unit, my old pump is running like new. Today I went in to buy new cuffs for my vacuum hose. I pulled in at 5:03 and they were letting the last customer out. Lights already off and everyone ready to go home. Instead of locking the door, they asked what I needed and had me come in. Not only did they let me in to buy what I needed, but they even removed the old cuffs and glued the new ones on at no extra charge. I noticed as I was leaving the parking lot the message of "Service Is Our #1 Priority" on their awning. That is definitely true at Seasonal in S. Attleboro. You don't see service like that anymore. I usually only write reviews when receiving bad service but I had to take a few minutes to give the folks at Seasonal 5 stars for the consistently great service I've received over the years. They are so unpleasant. There are occasions when I have to shop here for pool items. I always dread walking in. They are NOT interested in small sales, making this clear by their lack of interest in helping and refusal to engage in conversation or even eye contact. On one occasion that a sales associate did approach us, that my husband was compelled to say, "this is the first time one of you has engaged in a conversation with me." The man replied "well, what you have really can't be considered a pool." That comment spoke volumes, Seasonal Specialty only wants the big purchases, the small customer isn't generally tolerated. if I can I go elsewhere. read more

I've been coming to Seasonal since 2008 and couldn't be happier with the product selection or the service. As someone who never owned a pool I was so impressed with how knowledgeable and helpful they were, never feeling pressured to buy. They took the time to educate me, I attended the novice pool opening and closing seminars and have relied on their free water testing to keep the pool in perfect condition. My pool pump motor crapped out last night, so I took it all apart and decided I needed a new motor. The guy here took it and was able to get it back up and running in 10 minutes. I thanked him for fixing it so quick, and he said it wasn't really broken, just needed a look. No charge for the quick look. Customer service is on point. I bought some supplies to close my pool last weekend. I discovered that they gave me the wrong size pillow. I did not realize it was the wrong size until after I had opened it. It did not have a label on the package to indicate the size. I just went there to exchange it. The man who sold the original, wrong pillow (his name is Mike) gave me such a hard time. He said that he was going to have trouble selling that one now that it had been opened (which isn't really my problem). He said he would not have sold me the wrong size. He hounded me for the size of my pool. He said "how do we know you bought it here?" I had my receipt. I will never shop there again. read more
