The restaurant has a nice atmosphere that feels a little upscale but still comfortable. The flight and filet special was a good value at $52 and included a wine flight, filet and a mini indulgence dessert. The wine flight was fun to try and a nice way to sample different options with dinner. The filet was tender, flavorful and cooked as requested. My partner tried the filet and lobster tail. The lobster tail was tender and paired well with the steak. For dessert, I selected the peanut butter chocolate mini indulgence, which was the perfect size to end the meal without feeling too heavy. Service was attentive and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but the $52 special felt like a good deal for what was included. Hawaii pineapple cosmo is soo good!!!!they bring it out with the whole shaker. I love that!! I've been here a few times the food never disappoints and tasty! The tuna tartar salad is good along with the flatbread. My favorite dish is the shrimp and grits. Service is OK. Place is always busy so I understand. I loved the artichoke one (because I love artichokes). Hubby ordered the pepperoni but expected some red sauce on the flatbread. I guess he envisioned pepperoni pizza with a flatbread base. We asked for some marinara sauce which helped. We did not get dessert as we had other plans. This was a nice, quick and healthy feeling meal. I enjoyed my meal, the Caesar salad was a little overdressed but the artichoke flatbread was yummy and my Chilean sea bass entree was the perfect amount and hit the spot! We were seated in the back room. Not sure how they decide who goes back there but we passed lots of empty tables on the way. The past few times I have come here, they sat my group in the back, kind of giving me a complex...but once we got there, I was thankful for the quieter atmosphere. I came here many times over the past, but was never overwhelmed. This time was different. Being with a friend always helps, but it went right this time. All dishes are under 540 calories. I've been lacking out with the servers. Johanna was what you want in a server. Pleasant, got everything right, made good suggestions, checked on us, but not frequently enough to be annoying. I love the ambiance. An open kitchen with an elegant feel in the dining room. My friend had a yummy looking salad and everything was gone. I didn't know what it was because I was so into my food. Although it reminds me of a more upscale version of places like Applebees and Red Lobster mixed with cruise ship steakhouse kitchen layout. Is that a terrible comparison? We had some complimentary flatbreads--Pesto Chicken and Mozzarella (my favorite), Roasted Mushroom, and Roasted Tomato. We also tried the Slow Roasted Meatballs, Chicken Tenders (absolutely delicious and moist, and I usually do not like Chicken Tenders at any restaurant) and the Cheddar-Stuffed Mushrooms (my least favorite since I could barely taste the cheese). There was a cash bar, and The New Old Fashioned was one of the best I've ever had! It's made with Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon and garnished with an Amarena Cherry--the only cherry (besides Luxe) that's a must for me in any bourbon cocktail. Bryan A. was listed on my receipt as the bartender, although I was served by a lady. Shout-out to another bartender, Jerome, who helped me look for my "lost" eyeglasses--only for me to realize I'd left them at home (duh!). I love the NYC vibe of this restaurant. In terms of ambiance, somehow they have found the sweet spot: Elegant but not pretentious; softly lit but still easily able to read the menu; spacious room with high ceilings, but not noisy. The service was outstanding, attentive but not cloying or rushed. And the food! I got the pork chop (one of the house specialties) and it was incredible -- perfectly cooked to my specifications, huge, delicious, and with a large helping of a red cabbage and raisins dish that I loved even though I hate cabbage. Others got the salmon and a shrimp dish, both excellent too. The dessert situation is interesting -- the only options are these large shot glasses with various combinations of mousses, cake, crunchy candy bits, etc. Hard to describe but very delicious. I've lived in New York so long and I'm ashamed to say this is a place where I have missed. Located right next to Roosevelt field mall (which I frequent), seasons 52 is a must go! The food is delicious and fresh with a variety of choices for not only adults but for the kiddos that are picky eaters. I've only had their sangrias but they have a great choice in cocktails and wine selections as well as desserts. They have seasonal menus which also includes the favorites that you can order through the year. This place was busy. Our server was kind and fast. She took care of us. She was very cheerful. My aunt and I shared all the food. It was her last night in NY. We got the mushroom app with crab and shrimp. Honestly it wasn't all that flavorful. I would not recommend. Tuna Tartare was pretty good. We both enjoyed that. Lobster bisque soup... Our server has them split it into two cups. The soup was okay but I've had much better. Beet salad was good but it was a little overdressed. I enjoyed the beets which were marinated itself. Just about 5 minutes from getting the appetizers another server tried to bring out our entrees. We told him to bring it back in a little while as we were just starting to dive in to the apps. Our original server came and apologized for the timing. My aunt's order the scallop dish. The scallops were fine almost overcooked. I really enjoy the cauliflower mash cheese thing they had on the bottom. I I also enjoyed their string beans. I ordered the sea bass and the waiter said that was their best dish. It was pretty yummy and I finished the whole thing. I didn't really like the rice and mushrooms that came with it. The dish felt like and needed a slightly fluffier rice. My aunt picked up a Chardonnay which she enjoyed. I just got a skinny margarita only cuz I wanted to avoid the sugar. I think they used mezcal in the margarita I did not really like the smokey flavor. So I just switched to an Arnold Palmer. This place turned out to be pretty expensive for what we got. We returned to one of our "go to" places, always a good choice, sometimes a great choice. While often crowded, it's not so loud that our table for four this time, or a booth other times, that we can't freely converse and be understood without leaning in. I tried new dishes this time and loved them. My wife and I shared their mushroom flatbread (like a thin crusted pizza without much sauce and zero mozzarella cheese), which was delicious, contained a variety of mushrooms, and, together with a salad, might be a meal sufficient without an entrée. I had their Chilean Sea Bass, which looked like a small portion, but was perfectly prepared in a sweet dark sauce (probably Asian) and was the fish version of a small fillet mignon, so small but sufficient. The sauce permeated the wild rice below. My wife had her staple at this restaurant, their rainbow trout, a very reasonably priced choice with diet conscious but filling sides (broccolini and roasted baby potatoes). Our friends ordered two of the eight large shot glass desserts (hers was a variation of pecan pie over mousse and his was a combination of peanut butter and chocolate) that are only $4 each (so can order all eight varieties for $32). I had to plan a holiday company party, and this place was very helpful answering questions and securing a private room. The dinner started off with shareable flatbreads (roasted tomato and pesto chicken) and both were tasty. The caesar salad was nice. We had 3 entree choices, and the filet mignon was juicy and cooked to perfection. A lot of my party also enjoyed the salmon, and the chicken dish was a massive half-chicken. Dessert had a bunch of little shooters in an array of flavors. The s'mores one that I tried was top notch, but it was great for everyone to be able to get what they wanted. Every time I walk in, the atmosphere wraps around you -- warm, welcoming, effortless. I don't come as often as I probably should... but when I do? I leave reminded why I love it here. The portions? I finished almost everything on my plate -- maybe two or three strips left -- and that's saying something. I mentioned it was our anniversary when booking the reservation and not only did our waiter (shoutout to Khyree) present us with a sign to acknowledge it, but he also comped us each a glass of champagne and dessert. We go to Seasons 52 every year for our now 11 year old twin's birthdays and THEY choose to go every year. Every time we go we are met with friendliness and professionalism from the minute we walk into the establishment to the moment we leave every time. We had the pleasure of having Yaylin help us tonight and she was absolutely amazing. I rarely leave reviews but I felt like I had to after the service tonight because the attention to detail was impressive. We were looking for a lunch spot on a Sunday afternoon and our original spot was popping so we had to find an alternative place. We ended up finding Seasons 52 online, the menu and the pictures looked really nice which prompted us to try here. I ordered the pork chops with the cabbage, which was pretty good. We also had the brussel sprouts with the bacon and the balsamic glaze which we thought complemented the brussels sprouts really well. Unfortunately, there were a few aspects during my experience here that I did not feel our experience was even four stars. For starters, we were seated right next to the door so there was a fly that was constantly flying around our food throughout our whole meal. I was barely able to get a sentence out before I had to swat the fly again. At the end, we had some leftovers and we asked for a box which our waiter grabbed for us however they didn't give us a bag. When we finally asked for the bag and they brought it to us, it was one of those bags you give a kid for lunch and that made it even more inconvenient to carry my box out of the restaurant given the rain. I'm not sure why we were given such a small bag for the box. It honestly didn't make sense. I'm not sure if I will be coming back to here but if I were, I'm hoping for better service for sure.
