For a chain, this is actually a really great place! A friend and I came here for a drink and some apps recently and got here before it got really crowded on a Friday night. We chose to sit at the bar, which is comfortable and beautifully decorated. Surrounding the bar is a lounge-type area, great for larger groups. We both started with the pink pearl which is a coconut cocktail. It was delicious and went down smooth! For food we had a meat & cheese board which was stocked with delicious cuts of meat and sharp cheese. Plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is huge. This is a wonderful place to have romantic dinner, party of all sizes, family dinner, a few drinks and appetizers with your buddies, night out with the girls. There is a large bar with a lounge in front. The main room of the restaurant is quite large that can be sectioned off. To top it off, they have an outdoor patio too . Make sure you make reservations to ensure a happy evening. The wait staff was wonderful. They tried their best to serve us as fast and efficiently as possible though they were a little short staffed. Second time here, ready to review, more 3.5 stars than 4. Both times I've attended for events by the same meet-up group, and both times I've only had a beverage. I think it was just a diet coke last time, but this time I got a "real" drink, a Cucumber Hugo, and it was quite good. I love this particular drink type, and the bartender did a good job here. I feel like they're light on bartender count relative to customer volume, so the service isn't fantastic, but it's acceptable. The space is nice, I like the expansive seating area near the bar. The prices are relatively high, but what can you do. I honestly wouldn't return here if not for this group, but I'll probably return for future events. The food, we got hot honey wings, pastrami sandwich, lobster carbonara and Nutella French toast with banana. Wings were subpar, over fried like it was fried twice and warmed up in the microwave (hot outside, cool inside). Pastrami was over salty and super dry, bread sucked. Lobster carbonara is really just carbonara, barely any pieces of lobster and likely imitation crab. Nutella french toast had 2 thin pieces of banana, barely any Nutella. Honestly the whole time, I'm thinking I should went to the diner in Westbury, would been much better. The service wasn't the best too. We were at the booth closest to the bar so we had the bartender as our waitress, she was busy at the bar which made it difficult to get her attention. I wish there was a 3.5 star rating on Yelp because my husband and I made a reservation on Thanksgiving Eve 2025 here and there was no host or hostess to be found. After waiting for what seemed like a while at the front of the restaurant my husband grabbed a waiter and we were seated. While the restaurant is big, there was only one other table seated and 2 people at the bar. I was pretty shocked that there wasn't a bigger crowd. We ordered two appetizers to split and we each got our own entrees and a side of vegetables for the table. We found the food to have great presentation, but it was on the saltier side. Would I recommend it here? Maybe if you are shopping in the area and want to grab a bite to eat, but be mindful when ordering food that it is salty and try not to go before a holiday. Update. Another Valentine's Day. They had a regular menu and a "specials" (much more expensive) menu. The serve a complimentary sliced bread basket that tasted good as is, but I was happy to get a tiny bowl of soft butter for it. We split the four cold jumbo shrimps appetizer and thought the cocktail sauce was better than anything out of a jar. We also split the Greek salad, which was at least 90% lettuce, but saved by its light creamy dressing. For my entrée, I ordered the short ribs over mashed potatoes with mushroom and onion rings. I'd guess there was 1/4 lb. short ribs, one mushroom cut into slices, and half an onion prior to breading and deep frying. The mashed potatoes were so light, they remined me of a small bowl of over-milked farina. That said, it was pretty good, except you have to be careful about the fat disguised by the meat sauce. My wife had a much better dish from the specials menu, about a dozen sea scallops over risotto with mixed in heirloom tomatoes and spinach. Our waitress was nice, but the kitchen server initially brought us the wrong orders (for a nearby table) ... I admit to a preference for having the person who took your order being the person who delivers it. The restaurant itself, as I've said before, is nicely decorated, especially on holidays, with a clean bathroom, a substantial parking lot, and computerized reservation system, yet they still called me the day before to confirm. read more

I was recently here for an business dinner which took place in their private room. The restaurant is spacious and open as was the private room where our dinner was for a group of 15. I decided to go with the free range brick chicken with broccoli potato puree and chicken jus. My one complaint is I would have liked more jus. The ambiance is great here! However, our waitress Hailey was lacking. She took forever to come to the table, and had no personality. I ordered the Butternut Squash ravioli. I was not impressed at all! The ravioli was starchy, and barely had any sauce. You could not taste the Butternut squash because the pistachio nuts on top overwhelmed the dish. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese - Braised Short Rib, Baby Mushrooms, Parmigiano - so delicious and the beef was super tender . We had opted to get the Dessert Tasting which includes Cannoli Cake, Chocolate Cake, Cheesecake Paired with an Assortment of Gelatos and Almond Biscotti . Well well well!!! After reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical, but already had reservations made by a friend. So walked in ambiance wow wow wow! Was seated right away, our server Justin was a sweet heart. Order fried calamari and charred octopus as appetizers, that charred octopus delicious, perfection. I had the corn risotto with sea scallops and gulf shrimps, the risotto serving was a lot. Only give 2 scallops and 2 shrimp, which they could've done 3x3, anyways the scallops was soft and melts in your mouth like butter. Lobster Mac and cheese 2 thumbs up, only think I was a fan of was the deserts. To the management great job and please Justin deserves some recognition, oh btw can you all bring back the lamb shank! Got the Spinach & Artichoke dip and it was served hot with 2 different kinds of chips/breads for dipping -- such a unique type of bread -- paper thin so it might break easily but delicious nonetheless! Would've loved a pita bread option, though. Drinks were delicious as well -- not too strong and not too sweet. Service was ok -- slow to check out and check up on us once it got busier. My wife's friends treated us to brunch here. For a Sunday afternoon, the place was nearly empty. We ate outside, on a wooden table, under a rickety awning that both looked like they'd seen better days. Portions of the table appeared as if they were literally sinking. It caused one my wife's friends to spill his tea all over his lap (luckily he wasn't burned). Food was OK. I started off with grilled octopus, and thankfully they kept the skin on (not all restaurants do). For my main, I went with the pastrami melt, which came with a choice of fresh cut fries or home fries. I opted for the latter. The rye on the pastrami melt was a bit TOO toasty for my liking, and the home fries were pretty much just greasy potatoes. I should add that the water was lukewarm, and every time our glasses were running empty, for some reason instead of refilling our glasses or leaving us a pitcher, they just kept on adding additional glasses of water to the table. Why? I got a brief look at the inside of this restaurant. There was a live band playing swing, which was nice. But they were playing to a nearly empty restaurant, which was sad. Me thinks this is one of those places that's way more active at night, but who knows? read more

Overall, every dish we had was pretty big size. All of them tasted very balanced. Sea bass was very soft with some yummy lemony potatoes- I'd recommend to try that one for sure. Pizza Margarita was a big hit as well. Ambiance was great, we loved the feel of the place, lights and long curtains gave the place a very cozy atmosphere. I went with a group of 14 friends for lunch. The host who was seating us could have been a little friendlier kind of made me feel like he was doing me a favor. Most of my group ordered the $25 lunch special but I decided to go with the special onion soup and shrimp tacos on the apps menu. The soup was different as it had some kind of pot roast in it. It was pretty tasty except there was some kind of piece of bread I'm guessing focaccia bread that was hard as a rock. Even after sitting in the soup it could not be cut not even with a knife or fork. I bought it to the waiter's attention and he told me because I ate mostly everything else there's nothing we could do. I'm under the impression that if you're serving something everything should be edible. I called the restaurant and spoke to one of the managers and she told me the general manager was going to get back to me. I gave it a few days and he never did. I decided to write a review. I have been to this restaurant before and typically enjoy it but because of this I will not be back. It wasn't even a question of taking it off the bill as much as to be accountable for this food. I didn't have an opportunity to order off the menu as I was there for a private banquet. Maybe it's better that way? I definitely wouldn't suggest holding a private event here. Upon entering, whom I'd assume wad a manager was arguing with a patron of an event before mine. She was stating how the service was horrible and they were treated poorly. The "manager" unfortunately lost his cool along with other staff telling the woman to get out. So off to a great start! A few more friends arrive and we go sit down in the private room... We had the opportunity to witness the room continue to be set up. No offer of a drink from the bar or water. We were served a 4 course meal. A salad which looked like they took 1 crouton and sliced it into thinner slices along with bread and no butter. They did provide oil, but no herbs or spices thst ive tyoically seen accompany oil. It tasted kike Crisco in a nicer bottle. A pathetic pasta dish which was nothing more than noodles with some ragu on top. 10 minutes after serving the pasta dish, they brought out cheese to go on top of it. Mine was done at that point. No flavor what so ever. A few choices for a main entree. I got the salmon which everyone agreed was bland that also had the dish. And dessert was a fruit salad which you'd think couldn't be screwed up, but it tasted as if the various fruits had been mixed together for a while and were absorbing each other's flavors. My other confusion was the drink situation. We were offered a selection of beer or wine once. If you didn't ask for another drink, you weren't getting one. We also ordered the braised short rib it was not good. I love short rib and I could not take another bite. Then there was the hanger steak , I would not recommend this.
