Update: The company reached out and offered me a re-clean for free. The house smelled and felt clean this time when they were done. I scheduled a move out cleaning for my house, it was completely empty when the cleaner arrived. I told the cleaner the house would be empty. I almost turned the cleaner away when she arrived with a swifter to mop the floors for the house. Needless to say, the floors needed to be cleaned again and I do not have the time for this! When I brought this the owners attention they gave me a credit for another services but none of my $260 back. Needless to say, I will not be using their services again. read more

Our most recent cleaner, Edelin, was fantastic, and most others have been as well! Communication with the company is timely and polite and any concerns have been addressed promptly. While there is some fluctuation in the quality and service provided between different teams, and I can imagine that not having a particular cleaner or team consistently might bother some, I still recommend their service for their standardized rates, professional communication, and consistently good work. I hired Seattle's Green Cleaning Fairy to perform a move out clean for a rental house we were vacating. She arrived a little early, and while we were trying to accommodate her arrival, she was happy to wait for the actual appointment time. She got straight to work as soon as she had access to the house and I could tell right away that she was doing a very thorough job. When she was finished I returned to the house to lock up and was amazed at the job she had done. I honestly think it was cleaner than when we moved in, and it smelled wonderful. Biggest waste of $240. I should've posted this earlier, but I'm upset about this even months later because I'm still finding places where the cleaner completely missed. This is for a space we are going to run our business in and I needed to delegate this task so I could focus on moving out of my other space. We scheduled a "move in" cleaning. Space was empty. Should've been an easy job with focus on bathroom and kitchen. Cleaner showed up unaware of what to actually clean even though I explained it in my quote request and on a phone call once the company called me. We had to communicate through a translation app, fine but challenging and ineffective. She showed up late--after scheduled time window and looked exhausted by the time she arrived. I actually felt bad for her because she'd been cleaning all day and that was why she was late. We communicated w/ company again to ensure she was aware of what to clean. We left her alone after awhile to deal with some errands and when we came cleaning was basically not done. I had a bad feeling about having to venmo the cleaner up front. That seemed really shady to me. Why wouldn't I pay the company half up front and half once the service was delivered? There was no service agreement signed or anything. So basically, I paid a stranger $240 to come into my space for 3 hrs, check her phone a bunch of times and start moving a mop around the floor once we got back. Never once have I felt judged for this by anyone from Seattle Green Cleaning Fairy. Our first service was a deep cleaning and then we moved to a monthly maintenance cleaning. You receive reminders via email a few days prior to your service date, and then a text message with the Venmo details of your assigned cleaner the day before. They request that you pay upon arrival which is certainly more than a fair ask. Cleaning is so thorough and you won't believe how great your place smells and feels afterwards. Based on reviews I thought I was making a pretty safe bet by booking This place. I had been out of Seattle for 6 months quarantining with family. Prior to my return I thought I'd get my place cleaned. I paid $300 for a deep clean which included getting my sheets and blankets laundered ($50/load). I came home to my comforter in the washer still wet. the sheets not washed Bc I found dead moths and the bed had black specks all on them. Soap scum left on my shower doors. I tried texting them but none of my messages are going through. Called and left VM but no response. I feel so ripped off. read more

We chose this cleaning company due to their stated values and that their staff is employees and not contractors. However, they were consistently late due to the central office providing cleaners the incorrect address even though we confirmed the central office had our correct address. As well, they unfortunately had to fire our cleaner. When they reached out to let us know, they also unnecessarily attached ALL the cleaner's personal information (photo of drivers license, personal contact details, home address, and more) to the email. They appear to have done this for all those who received cleanings from this cleaner. In short, cleaning companies SHOULD be detail oriented and professional. While our cleaner was these things, the main / central office was NOT, violating their employees' privacy and causing their employees to be tardy and incur additional transit expenses to go to a second (correct) location. Edited to add: I downloaded the Yelp app for the sole purpose of correcting this business' inaccuracies. Below the business notes "previous apology and resolution during our phone and email conversations" - we never spoke on the phone about this and there was no resolution on their part. You can't retract sending out an employee's personal information to countless customers via email. *My* resolution was to fire them as our cleaners. Second edit to add: When I posted this same review on Google Reviews, the business replied stating they "obtained explicit consent from our cleaner to disclose such details to a select group of loyal clients." As far as I am aware, this is incorrect. I did reach out to the cleaner via the email that had been disseminated to caution them and they expressed shock and concern, indicating consent likely was not obtained. As an HR professional myself, I can confirm that the information disclosed was absolutely unnecessary to clients and in no way "essential to fulfill legally binding contractual obligations". Finally, we were a client of SGCF for three months (3 cleanings) and had a misdirected cleaner twice - our first cleaner was not Annelisse. As well, the redirection was not "crossing the street" - she was sent to 1st Ave and we live on 5th Ave. Third edit to add: SGCF emailed me a reply saying "I am personally unable to comprehend the extent of offense you have taken in this matter." So all of the public review responses are just for show, they don't actually understand why this is a problem. read more

I absolutely love this company!! Specifically for Jessica so far. She is amazing! She truly goes above and beyond the scope of expectations! She gets my two bedroom, two bathroom home done in usually about 3 hours and let me tell you it gets messy! I have pets in my household so with all the pet mess and hair she really makes it sparkle! I just had a new baby so this service has been essential to my mental health and the fees are affordable and a flat rate, I like this because in the past I've hired per hour and often feel they milk the clock and don't even get close to the quality of what Jessica has done. I'm sure all the cleaners with them are great but I'm honestly blown away at her work. I've had many cleaners and have worked in property management for many years along side some great cleaners but no one has quite been like this! I was very disappointed in my service from Seattle's Green Cleaning Fairy. The account executive who was in contact with me, Sian Michelle Ragasa, was helpful and responsive. However, the cleaning service itself was very lacking. The cleaner who arrived at my condo, Aris, was nice & friendly but knew almost no English, so we could not even communicate enough for me to point out problem areas, find out how long it would take her, etc. She gave me the incorrect information for payment method and we had to spend at least 20 minutes figuring it out. Most importantly - **the cleaning itself was very sub par!** I arrived after she was done, and there were bits of food in the sink still, parts of the floor that clearly hadn't been swept, and the bathroom didn't have anything back in its place! Not to mention things like dusting. I had to get a different cleaning crew and pay more $$ since the Seattle's Green Cleaning Fairy job was so poor. The other cleaner came and said "Who cleaned your place? They did a terrible job." I will be requesting a partial refund from the company. read more

I tried Green Cleaning Fairy for the first time and paid for a "deep clean" service, which was double the price of a standard clean. Unfortunately, the crew missed quite a bit of dusting and specifically dust on areas that I had pointed out ahead of time. I have really bad allergies and Asthma that is triggered by my allergies, so I was pretty disappointed. I offered to pay for a standard cleaning but asked for a refund on the "deep clean" based on the quality that I received. The business owner offered 12% back, which is only a quarter of the refund I asked for. The website does not mention a No Refund policy anywhere as they tried to state, but rather it's a part of their cleaning confirmation email. read more
