These guys are amazing. First off, they're "full-service", which means they can also take things (even big things) you don't need and donate, recycle, or dispose of them as needed. I was panicking because my place was a bit smaller than I anticipated so I had WAY too much stuff. They were able to take it ALL off my hands with no problems at all. It was an absolute life-saver. They also came back to get my used boxes after I was done unpacking (Lars, the owner, dropped by personally. He is a SUPER nice guy and was incredibly helpful and accommodating). They were also able to squeeze me in on a very busy moving day which was also a huge lifesaver, and were even available to contact later in the evening if necessary. The move went incredibly well. I had a situation where the movers I had hired back in Austin TX (where I moved from) packed my stuff into a Pod HORRIBLY. Upon opening, nothing had been secured or padded and everything was toppled and in disarray. These guys were absolutely amazing and helped me sort this disaster out, would show me if they found anything the Texas movers had damaged so I could take photographs, helped me fix things that were damaged or show me how to do so, and re-packed everything extremely methodically and carefully (and they work quickly too). And, as I had no car in Seattle, they came to pick me up and let me hitch a ride to the Pods facility and back. On top of this everyone was extremely friendly and their attitudes and service really helped me relax in an otherwise incredibly stressful situation. Our friend recommended Seattle Moves & More to us, they were highly recommended by her realtor. This was our first time using movers and we weren't sure where to start or what to expect. We had 2 moves back to back and we were hoping to get professional help and a package deal. Lars was very supportive and walked us through every detail. He was courteous, kind and patient with all our questions and helped us tremendously figuring out our moves. Both moves went very smoothly. Evan was the team lead and boy he knows how to lead. The minute they arrived he had total control of the move, designating all responsibilities to the crew while he was meticulously dismantling the furniture that needed his expertise. Before my Seattle to San Francisco move, I knew nothing about long distance relocations. I called a few larger moving companies hoping to get a rough estimate and was quickly pressed to fill out long inventories. I was puzzled as to why they didn't ask for any photos. After this dissatisfaction, I thought to see whether Seattle Moves & More could accomplish my move. The owner Lars quickly responded and was able to perform a complimentary walkthrough on the following day and provided a guaranteed quote. Later that month, he and four team members prepped and loaded my entire apartment in 2 hours. All of my furniture was blanketed and shrink wrapped, which reassured me. The next morning, he and his team member, Rory, left early, bound for San Francisco. They promised to be there at 10AM and they were. They also kept in touch with all timing updates! When Lars & Rory arrived they strapped up their back braces and got right to work. They had to negotiate three flights of winding stairs. At about 3/4 of there offloading, there local SF handyman team member installed my 50" flat screen tv! I had already invited friends over that night for a small house warming, and was delighted that the TV was up and running! In conclusion, nothing was damaged and my apartment was set up as I hoped it would be! This is the smoothest moving experience I've had. And, it was an interstate move! If you're searching for a moving company just book these guys. I researched all over Ballard, Shoreline, Seattle and surrounding areas looking each up. These guys somehow have a perfect rating on each website AND have one of the cheapest rates. It sounds too good to be true, but really the only issue is booking ahead of time as these guys are extremely busy and everyone else has caught on. We hired two movers to help unload our 26ft U-Haul and I cannot thank these guys enough (V and Joe i think.) They moved all of my hoarded hunks of junk as if each piece was a Victorian antique. They were very respectful and carefully coordinated how they would sort and organize everything so our 4 bedroom move to a small basement would still allow us to move around and unpack easily. Moving is one of my least favorite and most stressful activities to do. It's wild how different the experience can be when you have two guys helping you who are so pleasant to hang around. It made it feel like an everyday activity and not the chaos that was my life at the moment. One of the owners of the company came by as well and he was incredibly nice, making sure we were getting the help we needed. So, if you're in the market or going to be in the market for a moving team BOOK THESE GUYS. It will be one of the most useful investments you'll make. I called Seattle Moves and More because of the great reviews, and my experiences were even more positive than the reviews could have predicted. First, I love it when the first person you speak to is excited and happy to help you, and that's exactly what I experienced not only with my initial call, but all the way through the project. Lars is incredible -- he truly believes that serving his customers and ensuring their satisfaction is what matters most. Plus, he is beyond skilled in the science and art of moving. We're exactly the type of customer that is challenging to deal with because we were splitting our goods into piles of what stays, what goes to storage and needs to be accessible and what goes to storage and doesn't need to be accessible. Honest -- Lars and his team, with no further direction from us, figured it all out perfectly. I wish I had a picture of our storage area -- it is magnificent in every way. Just perfectly designed! It even has aisles for easy access to the back! So the work was impeccable and we sincerely appreciate that. But we ALSO appreciate the fact that Lars and his team were fun to work with. These guys are amazing! They helped me move from Seattle to Ellensburg in mid-March 2020. This is before the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order, but everyone was being careful not to get too close. I honestly thought they may cancel on me in light of what was going on with the virus, but there they were Wed morning as scheduled. Conner, Ryan, and their fearless leader, Evan, immediately put my mind at ease. Any stress I had about this move melted away! We did a quick walkthrough of my condo, and then I stayed out of their way while they did their work -- FAST and safely!! Once we got to Ellensburg, they unloaded I swear in a half hour! The entire move was done around 2 pm, which included a 2-hour commute to Ellensburg! Nothing was damaged in the move, and precautions were put up around doorframes so as not to nick the wood. I'll be moving into a house in the fall, and I'm seriously considering having them drive over to help me with it -- they're that good! If you're concerned about movers, don't look any further. I've had bad experiences with others, but these guys are simply the best movers I've ever experienced. Lars and his team are truly amazing. Lars is a consummate professional with a really positive and upbeat attitude, which made what normally is a stressful experience into a really smooth one without worries. Even before move day, he came by to do a thorough walk through of my home to plan the move, noting special items and keeping me fully informed about what to expect from move day and how we could best prepare. One of the hallmarks of their excellent service is great communication -- before, during and after move day. Lars was not even part of our fabulous move day team but he still came by at the end of our unload to lend a hand and check on things. Where can I begin... Lars and his team were AWESOME every stretch of the way on my recent move. I came to them with a pretty unusual request - I needed them to not only pick up my stuff from the U-Haul facility and move it to my new place in Cap Hill, but also to pick up a couch in a totally different part of town I had bought on Craiglslist (like a 45 minute drive away), since I didn't have way to get it. Lars went totally out of his way to do this extra pickup for me at a very reasonable price, and even communicated with the couch seller and paid the girl for the rest of the couch (I had only paid 1/2 up front) out of his own pocket!! Who does that? I of course paid Lars back. It was an unusual circumstance to say the least, but Lars went above and beyond to make the whole thing a breeze. Plus, Lars is super nice and a good guy to chat with throughout the move. The entire team at Seattle Moves & More is awesome. They were super friendly and excited to move us quickly and carefully. I mostly appreciated how careful with our items they were- wrapping up the mattresses, being extra careful with desks, and marking up the home with various pads to avoid any chips in the corners. They were super malleable with any last minute changes such as "hey that gigantic box actually goes over there!" or, "can we run this gigantic thing into the basement?" and took them all with smiles on. Seattle Moves & More assisted my girlfriend & I with our apartment move from North Seattle to Lynwood. Our move date crept up on us much faster than we anticipated but Lars was able to accommodate us immediately. He explained how the process would go and made us feel at ease. We were a little worried about fitting our furniture through the doorway on both ends as the corridor on our pick up was tight and the drop off also had a tight turn. Let me tell you we were pleasantly surprised as they were able to fit everything! What a smooth move & great experience! With blankets & shrink wrap they protected all of our furniture that we asked of them. And then from there they securely strapped down everything in the truck. I had the pleasure of working with Lars and his brother Eric this past Monday. I had gone through a VERY traumatic flooding event at my current apartment, & had to downsize to another unit. That meant the spillover went to storage. Lars is an excellent communicator, which is most important to me. He made the whole process effortless, dare I say, enjoyable? You couldn't ask for two kinder gentlemen, hard workers yet very careful with all my belongings. Coming from LA, I will say that the moving rate here is quite a bit higher. However, Lars came with his own truck, dollies, padding, boxes, shrink wrap and tape. And, after 50++ moves, I can tell you NOBODY does that for small jobs. Oh, LBNL, they also took me to and from the storage unit, and to the bank and back, as I do not own a car. The whole experience was so nice, it was well worth the price for the peace of mind. I hired Seattle Moves & More to move me from one 1bdr apartment to another 1bdr apartment a few miles away. The movers, Taylor and Lauren, were very friendly and arrived right on time (actually a few minutes early but I was not billed for those, so even better). They didn't have any issues lifting or carrying anything, and had tools for disassembling some of the furniture that wouldn't fit out the door (such as my IKEA storage bed and my desk). The move ended up taking about the time quoted even though the elevators at my new place were much smaller than I had expected (I still have no idea how they fit my couch in them, but somehow they did!). They wrapped everything that could need wrapping, and carried it all out without any damage to the items or walls. We used Lars in the past to deliver an old art table that we purchased at Stuff Consignment . We contacted him after we purchased it , he came the same day with his truck and loaded it up and brought it right to the house where we wanted it. Today we hired him and Lio to move out from our house into our new place . He brought a 14 ft box truck , saran wrapped all of our older furniture to protect it , and stacked it neat and tight in the truck. It went as smooth as could be and we were very pleased with the entire service. They even took my sewing machine + bed frame after the move was complete and donated it for me! They were so patient with her, and did everything they could to make her feel comfortable and secure, while providing top-notch moving services.
