Pimento burger and mac & cheese

We had a great time at Seaworthy! The staff was very kind and attentive, and all of our food was delicious! Would highly recommend the lobster ravioli, truffle fries, pimento burger, and mac & cheese.

Yummy food with friendly service. The happy hour specials are amazing - great way to try out menu items to see what you like best. Or if you're looking for something lighter. My husband had the happy hour Mac and cheese, and the shrimp and grits. I ordered the lobster ravioli and the Caesar salad. I was so intrigued by the crispy tuna roll I also ordered one of those. The Mac and cheese is absolutely delicious but contains bacon. The shrimp and grits were very complex - smoky, cheesy, savory, super tasty. The Caesar salad was the only slight miss for me. It was a bit heavier than I'm used to from the fried croutons. The lobster ravioli was delicious. The crispy tuna roll was fantastic - truly delicious. It has a slight spicy kick to it, and the pickled vegetables on the side balance everything out. For drinks, we had the Carolina mai tai and the virgin painkiller. The drinks are amazing, and I loved the presentation.

The restaurant has onsite parking. It's clean and decorated nicely, and we were seated quickly (made a resy). Our waitress was really nice and helpful. The food was good, some dishes better than others; the Mac & cheese, shrimp and blackened salmon were great, as was the smoked Caesar salad. The kids' chicken tenders and French fries were good. But my son wasn't a fan of the spicy chicken thighs.

Order the Caprese salad! My picture does not do this one justice!

Seaworthy is a great newer restaurant that we have added to our must visit places when we are at Carolina Beach. We tried them out last summer a few months after they opened and again on our last evening at the beach. They have added new dishes to the menu that were all delicious. My husband was very happy to see that the New England clam chowder was still on the menu. He almost killed the entire bowl before I had a chance to sample spoonful! His was so good that I almost ordered a cup for myself! The restaurant is tastefully decorated and centered around an open and airy bar. We decided to sit at the bar since they were not busy on a late Thursday evening before the craziness of Memorial weekend / peak season begins. The bartender was cheerful and attentive throughout our meal. She gave us great menu recommendations and answered all of our questions. Since we were leaving the beach the next morning, we decided to share several appetizers and the delicious catch of the week, fish tacos. You had the choice of grilled, blackened, or fried flounder. Naturally, we picked the fried. We were not disappointed. They tacos came with a large ramekin of black bean corn relish. It was not my favorite but a little more seasoning and healthy dose of cilantro would set it right. We were going to order the bruschetta but the bartender highly recommended the Caprese salad. It was definitely one of the best dishes of the evening so thank you! Seriously, you could put that pesto on cardboard and finish every single bite. I just ended up keeping the appetizer plate to wipe up the remaining pesto with whatever else I was eating. Fish taco, tuna, cucumbers, etc. So good! No shame in not wasting every tasty bit. We also ordered sesame ahi tuna tartare that was served with crispy wonton bites, thick sliced cucumbers, Wasabi aioli, and a ginger pineapple ponzu. Another absolutely delicious sauce that we spooned over each bite. Thank you, Jesseca for your fantastic service and Seaworthy for a delicious meal. We look forward to visiting again on our next vacation!

Calabash (shrimp and flounder) The coating was deliciously crunchy and tasty, and the sauces were a perfect accompaniment.

Nice and casual little spot! We went here after we arrived to town on a Thursday, late afternoon. It seems like it was possibly a place where some of the locals like to hang out as there was a group in the corner that people came and went from and were having a great time. Sarah was our server/bartender and she was an absolute delight! So cheerful and helpful! In our party we ordered a lemon drop martini and a custom made spicy martini. Sarah told us she was pretty good at martinis and she was right. They were delicious! For food we ordered lobster ravioli and calabash plate (shrimp and flounder I believe). Both were tasty and we ate almost every bit of them. Sarah warned me that the lobster raviolis only came with three but that they were pretty packed, and again she was right. There's no way I could have ate another! She recommended getting an order of grilled bread to go along with it and I'm glad I listened. The bread tasted great and it was perfect for mopping up the sauce on the raviolis. The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom (there is only one bathroom. The privacy lock/dial wasn't working right...it locked fine, but it always showed occupied, even though no one was in there. Took me a few times of checking to figure it that no one was in there. No biggie) If I lived here, I'd definitely be a regular, probably hanging out at the bar with Sarah!

We made a reservation for dinner. The restaurant is small, so you definitely want to do that. Beautiful decoration and wall paper . We were sat right away and Makenna was our server. She was excellent, and suggested I get a salad with my dinner because it was small. I was really thankful she did. We both had cocktails, and they were great. The food was delicious. The portions are really small, and I wish they were larger. Also, my ravioli was cold for some reason? The food came out very quickly.

In town for the night...my friend suggested we go. We start with a couple of drinks and they were made just right. Next the Trio Of Dips. They were all very tasty. I even had the Pimento Cheese Dip, and I hate Pimento Our Burg8wrre both good. One Half Pound Mid Rare and the other Black Bean Veggie Burger. Service was excellent. Definitely sit at the Bar and have Matt wait on you!

Seared yellowfin tuna over a Greek salad

Thought we would try something new on our latest trip to one of our fave beach towns, and, after reading a few reviews, Seaworthy was our choice for dinner on a Sunday night. We missed the early bird specials unfortunately from 3-5 pm which would have been spot on as we ordered clam chowder and also blackened fish tacos which would have been 1/2 the price. Oh well, live and learn. So, back to the review. Clam chowder was more of a stew not the thick cream based chowders we are used to, so be forewarned. Flounder tacos, although skimpy on the fish, was good enough, with a pineapple salsa and Baja sauce. Served with delicious roasted street corn on the cob. Our other dish was seared yellowfin tuna over a Greek salad. Prepared a lil beyond rare, my preference, and perfect. Overall, a decent experience. Only downsides were only one bartender/waitress holding down the duties, and the lack of any vibe. Lots of potential for this new place but needs to address the short staff, and ambience. Next time we will be sure to not miss the early bird specials.

"Delightful seafood, entertainment, and more in Carolina Beach"…read more Stopped by here on a holiday Saturday night at just after 6pm, party of 2. Amazingly, we were able to get a table right away. The place is mostly "open air" with two covered areas and a few spots in the sun. A few folks had dogs there, too. They also have little spinny things on the table to keep flies away (apparently called "fly fans"). Note, enter on the beach-side, not the other side, to meet the host. There's also a stage inside for entertainment (which started later than we were there, but the band was setting up). We ordered the ahi tuna nachos, and I got a crabcake sandwich. My partner got black pearl salad. Food came out in under 20 minutes, which was impressive given the place was HOPPING. The ahi tuna nachos were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. They had bits of mango, a delicious sauce, really good nachos (made from wonton wrappers), and the tuna was amazing (served rare). It was about $20, but a very large helping. This would make a great meal for one person eating that alone. The crabcake was fine-- nothing unusual but tasty. I may not order that again, but it was good. My dining partner said the black pearl salad was really good and liked the blackberries, feta, and walnuts in it as well as the vinaigrette. Our drinks got refilled, and plates were taken away quickly when we finished any part of the meal. Our server was really nice, too. Overall, I would happily go back, and DEFINITELY want that ahi tuna nachos dish again. I recommend-- very good.

Unfortunately, for me, I did not know what I was about to drink because I wasn't paying attention and my friend thought she was funny by introducing this to me, but 50 g of cannabis doesn't sit well with someone who wouldn't even drink too lol The bar has an indoor seating option but they have an outdoor Z themed sort of hangout place. Swings rocking chairs, different Adirondack seating covered, uncovered whatever your heart desires group seating single seating, etc. etc. there are tables there as well outback if you have a group. The bartender was very nice. He even warned us about the drinks. My friend was used to drinking these, but I wasn't lol I should've stuck to my wine. But I will say the way it works is that you're basically going into a back room selecting what you wanna drink if it's not a bar menu item and then you pay for it and then you walk outside or go find a place to hang out and chill. Really enjoyed the vibe. People were really nice. There were some people there alone just having a drink, chilling out and they were others that were just there having fun before going out to maybe the carnival the boardwalk or even to dinner. I did not see anybody eating food so I do not think there is food there maybe some bar nuts and stuff like that but other than that, it's pure just alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic for those that don't drink. I'll go back there again for sure, but I definitely won't be having the drink that I had which was some canned cannabis whatever it was lol!
