Hello everyone! Yesterday was a bittersweet day for my husband and myself. A few weeks ago we rescued two beautiful little baby sisters of course we both fell head over heels in love with them and wanted to keep them! We named them Pearl girl and Pumpkin aka Punkin ...While we had these two silly rambunctious kittens... they unfortunately stressed out one of our other girls, and she became very ill from her anxiety and the stress..she fell into a crazy crazy depression‍ My husband and I both knew what we needed to do. Long story short, these two fabulous lovely human beings Lisa and Ariella came to our rescue!!!! in their own home. They are cat angels in disguise I was a hot mess dropping these two little baby girls off. I love them so much and my heart was just hurting! I didn't want them to think that I was abandoning them like there previous family did Ariella and Lisa made me feel so comfortable and relaxed! They reassured me that everything was going to be OK and that there were going to so safe. We are so very grateful for them They even let us hang out a little longer than we probably should've I cannot recommend this kitten rescue enough!! These ladies GIVE SO MUCH of their time, love, and kindness to the babiesand It shows!! Where do I begin?! This in home rescue is absolutely amazing. I can't even describe how grateful I am for Ariella & Lisa. I was given a stray kitten to take care of for a night.. ended up becoming 3 nights.The entire time I was taking care of him, I was so worried about where I'd have to take him because we couldn't give him a forever home. He is just the sweetest and I couldn't bare the thought of having to surrender him to an unsafe or uncaring environment. Lisa & Ariella are heaven sent angels! As soon as I talked to Ariella over the phone I knew the kitten would be cared for and loved as he deserves. They were very understanding of my situation and opened up a spot for him. I knew he'd be in good hands and that this rescue would be the perfect place for him. When the time came to drop the kitty off, we were warmly welcomed into their home and got the opportunity to see how well taken care of all their kitties were. All the kittens & even their own cats were super healthy and happy which made me feel so much better, not to mention the environments was full of love and spotless to say the least! They explained to me the process our little kitty would go through and it was all very reassuring. Again clean and organized! We are so thankful for the amazing ladies (Ari and Lisa) that run this sanctuary! Every kitten in their care is given all the love, attention, and commitment each kitty needs to thrive, no matter what! My partner had found a kitten who was ill and covered in ants suffering from a sever URI. My partner took her to a large state shelter where she struggled with her eyes continuing to crust and no appetite. They were even considering euthanizing her! :( Luckily the state shelter emailed Second Chance Kitten rescue and they saw hope for her. Within 24 hours of being in their care, her eyes began to clear up and by the end of her stay with them she had flawlessly recovered from her URI! This was only possible because of the immense amount of time, detail, and love they put into her care plan. We can never truly communicate how grateful we are for them! long story short, they love every kitty with their whole heart and you can tell through every step they genuinely have nothing but the kitties health and happiness at heart. We have had such a wonderful experience with the ladies that run Second Chance Kitten Rescue! We rescued 5 week old kittens and are happy to leave them in the care of Second Chance Kitten Rescue! From sharing their vet information and being so helpful start to finish! During intake, they took extra time to explain their processes to us and let us spend some time with the kittens to get them settled and say goodbye. I cannot recommend them enough! Plus they have an extensive background check on all potential owners which made us feel so much better leaving them with Second Chance Kitten Rescue. Lisa and Ari are absolutely amazing! I had a sray cat that I feed give birth to some beautiful, sweet babies but there was no way I could keep them because I have 3 large dogs who are not cat friendly. I reached out to Second Chance Kitten rescue and the answered me so quickly! I sent pictures, we texted and I was able to meet up with them and take the babies to them the next day. You can truly feel the love when you're there. I am so grateful for you both and know those babies will get wonderful homes. I can't say enough how wonderful Ari and Lisa are they are the most kind and caring women. They helped restore my faith in humanity. I was trying to help my neighbor and got overwhelmed with cats and kittens. We adopted 2 sweet babies from the ladies at second chance! We had such a wonderful experience! Lisa and her wife are so friendly and extremely knowledgeable! I had soo many questions and they were more than happy to answer all of them . We had to wait a couple weeks for the kitten to become of age but it was so worth the wait. I cannot say enough about the women at Second Chance!! Lisa helped out a family member who was in a dire situation & needed help with some kittens that were abandoned. I reached out about meeting the kittens and got a quick and friendly response. It was clear they really care about the cats in their care and were very knowledgeable. I ended up getting 2 adorable kittens, they were litter box trained, had their vet checkup and they even showed me how to cut their nails read more
