Good beer, friendly service, great space! They even have a parking lot and sell coffee until 2 pm so you can go all day.

I love this place so much. The owner and brewer, Ross, has been in the beer industry for years working for some of the big names and his beer expertise shows. Everything I've tried here is exceptional. For an everyday go to, I recommend Tijuana Champion or Steel Horse. If you happen to be there near Thanksgiving, make sure you pick up Room for Seconds (I can't explain it, but it's the holidays in a cup). This was nice. Went with some friends. They have a parking lot as well as nearby street parking. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. We were welcomed in and questions about specific beers were answered. I tried Short Stack, a pancake brown ale. It had a nice maple flavor and was an enjoyable brew. I only had time for one beverage before I had to head on my way. I would like to come back when I have more time and try a flight. read more

Is Aurora... cute? Developing a community? I am so excited for the way that second dawn is serving as a third place for Aurora. They have games, coffee, beer- what more could you need? I asked for a decaf chai, which they sadly did not have, but instead our server offered a cardamom decaf latte, which was fabulous, just the perfect amount of sweetness. Every beer we had was stellar- loved the vanilla latte cream ale, which tasted like just enough of coffee but was light- just perfect. Short stack was also great- very sweet, with a strong maple syrup taste. The house party was good with its citrus heavy flavor mixed with the hoppiness. Our absolutely favorite was the Tripel though- the banana candy flavor shown through, but was really nicely balanced and not too sweet. Decor was super cute, and loved the selection of board games and colored pencils, plus they had a Nintendo 64 in the back lounge. All in all, one of my favorite breweries AND favorite coffee shops in Denver. You should definitely visit. read more

Went here on 6/8/25. Large group of us. We're the only ones there for a little bit. They serve beer, coffee and limited food. They have a couple of TVs. Bartenders were very friendly. Very cozy inside. Tried the lemonade Radler, Hefeweizen, Amber, pancake brown and pickle sour. Pancake Brien was very sweet. Hefeweizen was solid. Tried my first ever pickle sour, not for me. Haha. I am loving this spot for neighborhood coffee from Mishap, and to get some work done! I've come here a few mornings over the past couple of weeks for a latte and to work. There are always tables open, and other professionals working away. I even saw someone set up a portable double monitor which was impressive. The vibe is just, perfection. The decor, the plants, the volume of the music, the acoustics, it's my new favorite spot to head to if I have something I need to get done in a space where I can focus. I'll admit I haven't actually tried any beer / food / or non-alcoholic options, but I will soon. Everything sounds amazing. The only thing I would note before you run out to Second Dawn is that they're closed Mondays and Tuesdays. I'm so grateful for this spot in the neighborhood! read more

So excited to check out this new brewery! The hard seltzer was very tasty! It was light and refreshing, like a not-too-sugary lemonade. Perfect on a warm spring day. My husband had the wit bier, and said it was good. Staff was friendly, and I love that this place is dog friendly. Our pup enjoyed plenty of water and treats. The space is pretty big, and I like the way it's decorated (a sort of colorful, industrial chic). There's plenty of seating, including comfy, velvet chairs and couches. read more

Not far from the pricey chaos of the Stanley Marketplace, you'll find an oasis of chill at Second Dawn Brewing. This is a nice space--dog friendly, lots of varied seating options, and interesting decor. A welcoming vibe permeates the space. Beerkeep was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The menu offered plenty of styles. I was happy to hear they pour flights to order and don't require a certain number of choices. My three selections were all over the place: Strata Hazy IPA--This was my first and by far the best. Its dank nose and soft mouthfeel suggest this place has a bright future. Imperial Stout--This packs a punch, but was average in every way. It needs some dialing in. Wit Bier--I'm not sure if the bartender poured the wrong style, but this was a miss, tasting nothing like a typical wit, more like a corn-based lager. Overall, the space beckons anyone who'd like to enjoy him/herself over beer in a setting tailor made for a good time. No brewery opens at 100% and the brews could use some dialing in, but a visit now should leave you smiling. 3.5 stars for now. read more

This is another excellent addition to the NW Aurora neighborhood. Just block east of Stanley Marketplace, Second Dawn is worth a visit. I only had the Scottish Ale. It was excellent. If the other brews are made with the same excellence, then I am sure Second Dawn will have many days under the sun in Aurora. They have trivia nights, a handful of board games, clean facilities, food trucks, and a cozy atmosphere. The outdoor space is modest in size, but it would definitely be a great place to spend a cool summer evening. If you're looking for a place slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Stanley Marketplace, this is your spot. read more

This brewery is amazing! It's newer and my friends suggested we meet for happy hour there. Their imperial stout was so delicious. My husband loves IPAs and he said theirs was really good, but then he switched to an Italian Lager and said that was delicious as well. For those who don't drink, they have 0% hop water. I tried one but it was a little too hoppy for me. The space is huge and has places for you to come during the day and work if you'd like. read more

This is a new brewery just a short walk from Stanley Marketplace. I was excited to try since the owner and brewmaster has some of the voodoo rangers on his resume. I had the Citra Hazy IPA which was a good 7.2% and the West Coast IPA at 6.9%. Lots of places outside and in to lounge including couches and comfy chairs. There is a bike path not to far away so this would be a good stop for a thirst break. read more

Great for morning coffee & afternoon pizza & beer. The noise level is moderate, the service friendly. There is ample space with many good tables & couches for comfortable seating. A big plus is the availability of off street & on street parking. If this is your neighborhood or you are in the neighborhood drop in for a look see cup of coffee or glass of beer. read more

Great new addition (Feb 2023) to the east part of town. Tons of space, comfy seating, good layout. Bartenders were super friendly and helpful when deciding selections. Variety of beers, all interesting. They have a couple non-alcoholic and seltzer options they make in house that were super unique and delicious. Huge patio with umbrellas. Obviously easy parking. A few screens up for sports watchers and board games available. Snacks and pizza available, food trucks sometimes, and down the street from Mason's dumplings and Stanley Market if you are hungry. Hope they stay around a long time. I appreciate businesses investing in this area. read more

Awesome space. They allow dogs inside and tons of room for kiddos too. Beer is decent, especially considering they're so new. The patio is awesome and they bring in some delicious food trucks.
