I've been there quite a few times but hadn't had a chance to come to Inspired. When I went they had a sale where all clothing was $5. The sales clerk was very helpful with pointing out the price of other items in the store as well - scarves, jewelry, bags - as everything was on special discount. I love the way they curate their selections. I found a couple of shirts in the men's section that I liked. Everything here is new or like new. And they often carry designer clothing. I had a great experience shopping in this store and I'll be back in the future!

We walked back to the car, and what I can figure is the owner as all questions go to him, break schedules are told by him, etc. he walked out behind us and followed us giving us the side eye in my car. I have spent money at both locations, but my friend and I looked at each other after this like wait, really? It was extremely odd and uncomfortable and honestly offensive. I will take my actual business elsewhere as it seems we gave you reason to feel we were suspicious. Which, I am really trying to figure out why.

Extremely Unprofessional…read more I walked into Uptown Cheapskate and within one minute of entering, some random lady suddenly yelled across the store: "Everyone get out, we fucking close in 5 minutes." At first we assumed she was an employee because of how aggressively she said it. When we realized she wasn't, we called her out on it. Her response? "Yeah, I'm kind of crazy." What made the situation worse was that the actual employees said nothing about her behavior. No one corrected her, asked her to stop, or even acknowledged how inappropriate it was. On top of that, no staff member informed us when we walked in that the store was closing in 5 minutes even though it was over a hour before the website said they closed, which would have avoided the entire situation. Overall it felt chaotic, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. Customers shouldn't be yelled at by random people in the store while staff just stand there and do nothing. Definitely not a great first impression.

The staff is not always the friendliest bunch of people unfortunately and I've been there enough times to be able to confidently say I see a pattern. I just had both knees replaced and I'm driving with my handicap placard. I'm not a Spring Chicken any longer and it was obvious I was having difficulty walking from the car to the stairs. Whoever the young man was working 5/28/26 Thursday at 7pm actually was put out that I wouldn't take my donations up the stairs. He actually asked me "can't you bring them up the stairs"? I will start donating elsewhere. With the high prices and customer service it's obvious they could care less.

She doesn't just see a person in need; she sees me. She is a true friend in God and an example of His love--I see God's image in her every time we speak. She encourages me and prays with me, and her words of wisdom stay with me long after I leave. She has this beautiful, positive, motherly energy that makes me feel seen, valued, and comforted. Sometimes she even makes me cry because she provides the guidance and care I've always longed for--the kind of motherly advice I wish I'd had. Today's visit especially made a huge, huge difference in my life; the way she loved me today felt like the way a mother truly loves her child, or like the way our Father in heaven loves His children.
