During my visit to Ignite Med Spa to ask about neurotoxin pricing, I was quoted $400 for 40 units of Dysport--an unusually high rate of $10 per unit. This is extremely high compared to the typical $4-$8 per unit range (usually around $160-$320 total). When I politely questioned the pricing, the nurse practitioner seemed perplexed and a bit defensive, and the whole interaction felt sketchy and unprofessional. It really came across as if she was trying to get the most money possible, instead of focusing on fairness and honesty in her pricing. I remained very polite and calm during our conversation, simply explaining that I wasn't going to be overcharged. Having had Botox many times before, I know what fair pricing looks like. The entire experience felt more about profit than patient care. Right after leaving, I went to Bravo Medical Aesthetics, which is right around the corner, and the difference was night and day -- far better pricing, more professional, and an overall excellent experience. I can't believe how unprofessional this company is. I scheduled a 5:30p.m. appointment with Bev on…read more2/9/26. I called her around 4:45p.m. to see if she can schedule me out a little later around 5:45pm-6:00pm. She said 5:45pm would be the latest. I told her I would call her back shortly to confirm the appointment as I didn't want her waiting for me. Mind you, life happens and we are all human. I had a medical appointment earlier in the afternoon which I couldn't make it too due to my hectic work schedule. I had to go to that appointment directly after work, hence my request for a later time. I called Bev at 5:15pm, and yes it was short notice but I genuinely was trying to see if I would still make the 5:45pm appointment even after my medical appointment as it was close to my job. She automatically went "ugh" on the phone then questioned what town I was in... I also apologized to her as I never cancel appointments. She proceeds to say, "you only gave me 15 min but okay thank you" with an entire attitude then hangs up. Mind you, 5:45pm would be a half hour notice not 15min. SHE THEN PROCEEDS to send a cancellation notice through the app with the following message: "this special person cancelled within 15 min notice, gave bs excuse. Tell all fellow esthies about this one". LITERALLY THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL thing a business owner could say or do. Now I'm special? That's literally crazy. I am so glad I dodged the bullet with this one. I even attached the photo for proof. Next time you shouldn't assume someone's situation before getting mad someone cancelled. I don't know you, and you don't know me. It's not like we have worked with each other in the past and I cancel left and right. What a great way to bring new clients in.
