I gave my husband and I a spa day for our anniversary. It was really lovely. We had a couples massage , facial and pedicure together . He has never had them before . It was nice doing it together and both getting pampered . There is a $10 each up charge of you want it all as a couple. We really enjoyed all of the treatments . I would recommend going . Was looking around for a massage last minute and they had an opening. The lady I spoke to when booking was very helpful and suggested a couple of massages based on my back complaint. I ended up going with a hot stone massage (because I always do) but I liked that she asked the masseuse for options that would suit me. Also note that they do manicures and pedicures here too. As with all massages, if it's your first time get there a few mins early to fill out some paperwork. They have a nice little seating area in the front.We started right on time and Pam was the best! She was really nice and gave an excellent massage, adjusting the heat of the stones and the pressure she applied to fit my needs. The room had soothing music and I dozed off a little near the end. I left completely relaxed, happy, and with the tension gone from my shoulders. Excellent service and wonderful people. I highly recommend this place. read more

I made arrangements for me and my sister to get a massage and my mom got a facial. My sister was from out of town and it was a special day for all of us. The massages that the two of us got were both really great! I thoroughly enjoyed mine as did she. The facial, however, that my mom received, was subpar at best. I've been going with my mom and my sister to get spa services for many years. This is the first time we ever went to Body & Soul Day Spa. They worked to get us all in at the same time so from that perspective, the service was good. We didn't get totally what we wanted so in the massages, we received hot towels as compensation, which was really awesome. But my mother, 88, has been getting facials for many years and actually said to me it was the worst one she ever got in her life. The woman who did the facial was in and out of the room a lot, and left her alone there for quite a bit of the time. She didn't massage her head. She didn't do anything with her hands or feet. This is a normal addition to most facials she's gotten at other places. so if you're going for a massage, I definitely recommend this place. If you're going for a facial, you might think about reconsidering. read more

I received a gift certificate for Body & Soul and so decided to book a massage, I had never been there before but had expectations b/c I'm a pretty savvy spa-goer. The reception area needed a good cleaning, there was free tea & water on a tray where you waited but it looked like the carpets hadn't been vacuumed in months, the whole place had a real dingy feel to it. I told my masseuse (who was a very nice, pleasant young girl) that I wanted her to focus on my lower body - I had asked for a deep tissue/sports massage. There were times during the massage that I literally didn't feel anything that she was doing, and there were other times that the pressure of what she was doing was so painful I was gritting my teeth. Normally I'd say something but to feel her doing something was better than feeling nothing at all. The real clincher was that when she finished with my legs, she said, "okay, you're all set..." and I thought, but what about the rest of my body? I had never only had half of a massage. Even if I was asked where I wanted the focus to be, I still received a complete massage! I won't go back here again, the place needs a serious remodel & I don't get the feeling their take their business very seriously. read more

According to the feedback, Body and Soul was nice enough, but workmanship not so much. I saw the manicure and just felt horrible as I gave them the gift certificate. Unevenly cut nails, bubbles under the gel. Just a bad job, and supposedly done by a very experienced person. Very disappointing. On top of that, this is not a cheap salon/day spa by any stretch of the imagination. I paid them a rather hefty amount on that gift certificate, I saw the prices, and expected work which reflected that. Body & Soul, I think it would benefit you greatly for the owner to take some refresher courses, and share their knowledge with the rest of the staff. The work done was truly unacceptable. read more

I decided to go here to get my nails done for my wedding. They were nice enough to give a group rate so I got all my bridesmaids mani & pedis as their gifts. Super nice staff, however, the quality of the nails wasn't, let's say, top notch. The very next day - on the morning of my freaking wedding - a nail fell off. Literally just fell off while I was putting on my gown. Within the next couple days of the honeymoon at least 3 more had gotten lost. Maybe OK for everyday things, but regret making that choice for my special day. read more

A great spa!! I got a facial from Linda and it was amazing! She made me feel completely comfortable and is very knowledgeable about skin. I ended up getting a mani/pedi as well. Tons of colors to choose from and everything is super clean. I picked a sparkly color that ended up being a bit sheer and Linda asked if I wanted a different color underneath. Definitely cares about the customer. My boyfriend also gets haircuts from Sheila. She is so good at men's cuts!! He has really thick curly hair and she does such a good job with it. read more

I went here this weekend for a bikini wax at the recommendation of a friend. The waxing room was clean which is very important. Linda was very professional and made me feel very comfortable, it was almost like going to the gyno where she talks to you to keep your mind off of what's happening so you're more relaxed and the process seems to take less time. As far as the actual process, they use a numbing spray which takes some of the edge off but a bikini wax is never going to be a totally pain free process so you can't go in expecting it to be. I have been a customer at Body and Soul 4 or 5 times over the past year and a half and have yet to have a bad experience. From my experience cleanliness is of the utmost importance to the staff and the staff is always accommodating and friendly. I have not received a wide variety of services (as a male I typically stick to massages), but I have always enjoyed the experience. Anyone looking for a massage on the stronger end of the spectrum should definitely recommend Sandra. Prices are competitive with similar venues. read more

The masseuse I had was really wonderful, but I could hear the women out front getting their nails done throughout. I wasn't offered a robe or given any time to decompress before service started. I went to Body & Soul yesterday for a pedicure and ended up getting my eyebrows waxed and a manicure as well! The staff are so warm and welcoming and the location offers a comfortable, homey feel. This was my second pedicure from Body & Soul and they've both been incredible. I even ended up booking a facial when I was done! It can be tricky to find a nice place to have spa services done, so I'm happy to say I won't have to look any more. read more

Went in for a manicure and a pedicure recently. I chose to return because I was meeting friends for dinner close by. When I sat down, I remembered why I swore I would never return. By far the worst and one of the most expensive manicures and pedicures I ever got. The fingernail application was gloppy and thick. Both the manicure and the pedicure were extremely sloppy with streaks. I was really disappointed in the quality of the treatment for the price. $75 for a manicure and pedicure that were terrible. read more

I went to Body and Soul for a facial to combat some recent acne breakouts. The appointment making process was easy enough, although the woman seemed rushed. Upon arrival the receptionist did not greet me (or the next arrival who came in with me) instead she held her finger up to gesture "1 minute". Now, had she been on the phone this may have been OK, but she was texting or playing on her cell phone. After a minute or so she asked my name and told me to sit. Not rude, but certainly not welcoming. A few minutes later the technician came and brought me to the facial room. Upon her quick inspection she exclaimed, " my you have a lot of blackheads". Okay, I made the appointment for this reason and had made that clear when I made the appointment, however, my skin was not nearly bad enough to make it sound like she had never seen such terrible skin. I explained that my forehead and chin are prone to breakouts. She sighed and then said, "well I guess I'll deal with it". Deal with it? Seriously?! The entire time she was huffing and sighing and making comments on how difficult blackheads are for her. When she was done she recommend products to try and said it would make my next facial easier. The receptionist gave me a total, I paid and left. No one said " thank you" or "have a nice day". The spa is nothing special, the staff leaves much to be desired and for the money I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I got a Brazilian this weekend and I have never had a more painful waxing in my life. It is now red, bruised, and infected. And unlike the cheap prices and quick time of New York it cost about $70 and took over an hour. I also got to watch the daughter argue with her father and brother in the common. So unprofessional. I went there to get my nails done for a wedding. One of the lassies that was taking care of me is a teacher and was telling me about how there is in increase in Latinos and Asian children. She then said that she didn't mind the asian students, but would prefer if the Latinos would stay home. I am a teacher myself and this was very offensive to me. That is the problem with our teachers today, you do what you can for every child, not judge them on their nationality. I also asked for a French manicure and the lady cut open two of my fingers when fixing my cuticles. After another lady had to put on the white tips, she never clean off the access white left under my fingernail and the skin around my nail. The white tips were not put on well, and the group I was with said that they got nicked when getting their cuticles trimmed and it wasn't the best experience they had either. It was by far one of the most expensive manicure I have ever paid for, but also the worst experience I had. read more

I was able to schedule a massage appointment for 2 on a Wednesday for Friday. They called me Thursday to confirm and were able to give me a better appointment time than I requested. The space is very nice located right next to several restaurants, Gaetano's, Archie Moore's, The Library Wine Bar and Mr. D's cupcakes. The parking in the front is tight but there is plenty in the back. We had 30-minute therapeutic massages to try out the place. The staff was nice and courteous and the massages were relaxing. I loved it because I live in town so I can go in and out without a drive and fuss. The price is reasonable compared to other massages I've had in Vegas. All in all I was very happy and my niece had her first massage. I will be a returning customer. read more
