It was very easy to order at the kiosks and food comes out pretty quickly. There are nice tables and hightops indoors and outdoor seating too. Overall the burger was well made and the secret sauce was good. Only downside is that the bun feels a little heavy for a single patty burger. They use potato buns and it just adds a little too much bread feel for a thinner burger. I really enjoyed the fries.

Ordered takeout here. The food took quite a while to come out, and there isn't really a designated waiting space inside the restaurant. So everyone picking up orders was just awkwardly standing around. The burger was really good and definitely worth trying. If you actually like SPICY SPICY SPICY food, add the peppers. They bring some serious heat.

Great place to get burgers and fries! I love how they expanded to Kirkland! The service at all locations are spectacular. The garlic sauce is to die for. The chicken wings are one of my favorite things on the menu. Overall, I highly recommend and I would come back.

Wanted to like this place but the burgers were a letdown. The patties, both beef and chicken, were paper thin. Ended up feeling like I was mostly eating bun and toppings with a token scrap of meat cooked in grease. For $12 per sandwich without fries, I feel ripped off. The wait was super long. Fries were solid, no complaints there, and the chocolate milkshake was fine but nothing special. Even if they beefed up the patty size (literally), I still probably wouldn't go back. Overall, underwhelming.

Service was not great. I ordered online and when i went there to pick it up at the suggested time. They said they were still working on it which is understandable. Then after 5 more minutes i went back and asked again for an update on my order they said they had not gotten it due to a wifi issue and they are working on it. They didn't tell me about the wifi issue the first time which was a miscommunication from them and made me think they were just taking a long time rather than them having tech issues. Probably will not come here again. Communication could have been better. Update: it took an additional 20 minutes from the first time i checked in to get my order. They also dropped one of the boxes and threw it back in the bag. So will definitely not come back again

I love the vibe of the restaurant everything including the bathroom is on theme they make it look like it's a literal smash house. We get our food pretty quick and the service was really nice. They were really sweet. I did the burger was OK. It wasn't like the best thing in the world sauce and the syringe helped a lot but just getting that burger itself was a little bit dry in my opinion. The ice cream milkshake with cereal on top was delicious. I will go back for that any day.

Stopped by Secret Kitchen Burger during their grand opening in Kirkland. The line was long, but the vibe was fun and the crowd was excited -- they were even handing out T‑shirts. The regular Secret Kitchen Burger was generous and reminded me a bit of Habit Burger: fresh, simple, and satisfying. We had a good time joining the event and will definitely come back when it's not so busy.

We stopped in for their grand opening this afternoon. The location has good parking, if you park in the parking garage due to limited street parking. The first two hours are free but I don't think it takes two hours to eat a burger. When you walk in ordering is done at a kiosk that has many choices that seems like it was endless. The highlight for this meal was the unicorn shake and 4 burger basket. After you order find a seat and wait for the food and drinks to be brought to you. The service was pretty quick and friendly. This might be Kirkland's few late night burger places. We did not try the injectable secret sauce. This place will definitely be on the local dinner circuit. Give it a try.

The smash burger there was not the best in my opinion, especially for the price. I would recommend getting Mayo instead of their SBK sauce in the burger. Hot honey wings, and fries were all good, environment is cool too. But the burgers were a little disappointing. I come from CA and I've had plenty of smash burgers that were way better. The ones here just didn't have much flavor and were dry, maybe patties were TOO thin? Anyways, you should try it at least once for yourself but I won't be coming back for the burgers.

    Location - great outdoor seating

We visited SBK on a trip to Seattle and this place did not disappoint! The food was amazing and the service and workers were kind and helpful. The smash burger was perfectly flavored and cooked and being able to inject extra sauce was a fun addition. I asked the staff what their favorite wings were and they said to try the Caribbean Jerk wings dipped in the Garlic sauce. It was fire!!! Also - whoever came up with the combo to get a burger, 4 wings, and fries...it was genius. Just what I wanted!! Did I mention the milkshake? We had to add a milkshake after the meal and it was fun, topped with my favorite cereal (fruity pebbles), and hit the spot - I split it with my daughter, Anytime I'm in Seattle I will absolutely come here and I recommend you try it as well!

Ordered 3 burgers and 2 fries for pick up and they forgot one of the fries. The sauce on the burgers was way too spicy. Will not be back.

I drive by that Shell pretty much every day during my commute, so I noticed the new truck pop up and made it a point to swing by. Drove up on May 30 and found out they had just soft-opened the day before - so I was basically there from the jump. I ordered a half size of the soy garlic along with a side of curly fries. They're currently only running boneless chicken and tenders during soft opening, which honestly worked out fine since my partner prefers boneless anyway. Before ordering, I asked about the difference between their mild and medium heat levels, and they offered to coat the chicken in mild and serve the medium as a dipping sauce on the side - super accommodating. Good thing too, because their medium is no joke. Think a tad hotter than Wingstop's mango habanero. That's coming from someone who can usually handle spice. The two people running the truck showed a lot of love. I pulled up with my dog in the car, and the kind lady working was quick to come over and give him lots of attention, and a treat! She mentioned that they're hoping to stick around in the neighborhood for the long haul and have plans to build out the seating area - including a fenced section for people who want to bring their dogs and let them hang out. Seems like they're dog people, I'm already looking forward to it :) I'll be honest - I might be a little biased here haha. Fried chicken is probably my single favorite food, and Korean fried chicken is on the top tier. So take that for whatever it's worth. But this was a great first impression, and I'll definitely be back once they open up the full menu, or hell even before that since they're so close.

Located in Redmond, WA, the Third Place is a full-service Korean restaurant with a full menu of…read moreKorean favorites, known for their Korean Fried Chicken (KFC). Our family took advantage of the chicken's ability to maintain their crispiness, even for carry-out. It was OK, though a little confusing. Once we settled on KFC for dinner, our hosts (daughter and son-in-law) suggested carryout from 'The Third Place', which was a little out of the way from where we were. It is the Third restaurant opened by the owner, all Seattle area locations known for her KFC (Shin Sung Korean restaurant with Underground Kitchen and the since closed Yeon's Chicken). The chicken was ordered beforehand, and because it is prepared fresh when ordered, it took a bit of time for the order to be complete. There is a limited amount of sauce choices, so we chose Honey Garlic ($23.99) and the classic Yangnyum ($23.99), both marked as Whole Chicken size. Also a side order of french fries ($7.99) completed the order. The fries were good: nice and hot, heavily battered potatoes, providing a nice amount of carbs to go with the fried chicken. The chicken came with pickled radish (chicken-mu) which for me is a must, and it was good. In terms of the chicken, they were all wings, which isn't what I expected: getting the breast and thigh pieces chopped into bite-size pieces, battered and sauced, is what makes it KFC, vs all wings which is more like a Buffalo wing restaurant. So we still got the expected 14 pieces, but they were all wings (flats and drums). I thought the sauces were fine (intentionally ordered mild), and the chicken did maintain a crunch (though not as shattering as the best we've had).

This is my favorite place to get Korean Fried Chicken, specifically the Honey Garlic Chicken. The chicken is always fried to perfection and maintains its crispness even while it's covered with sauce and surviving the drive home (takeout). Honey Garlic is my favorite flavor, but Yangnum is good as well. The Creamy Rice Cake is not your typical spicy, red Teokkbokki (although they do also have that). It's like they put rice cake in alfredo sauce with slices of fish cake and onions. The texture of the rice cake is superb! So tender and chewy. I order takeout via their website and food has always been ready by the specified time. There are street parking and lots available, but at times can be a pain to find an available spot.

From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home thanks to Dom, one of the owners. He was an excellent host and a true professional who went out of his way to make our group of out-of-town guests feel welcome. The food itself was fantastic. The wings were great and cooked to perfection, coming out incredibly crispy on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside. Since we love a little heat, we tried the Habanero sauce along with the Reaper sauce. Both delivered a serious, flavorful kick that satisfied our craving for spice. To wash it all down, we paired the wings with an excellent local beer on tap, which rounded out the meal perfectly.Finding a spot that nails both the food and the service can be rare when traveling, but this place knocked it out of the park.
