I ordered Bulgogi bowl and I asked for no corn. So far, so good. The bowl looked good, but I saw there was potato salad on top. Ugh...it tasted old. Food is really good, price is a littttleeeee expensive, but I prefer the Bothell/Canyon Park location because they have a few more menu items such as the burritos, but Kirkland did say they were bringing them back! I really appreciate the FANTASTIC customer service, and options for every dietary preference. Ordering online can be tricky if there are a number of specific preferences, but the service at this location is so efficient that ordering in just as convenient. I got the Seoul Bowl Family Pack, which is supposed to feed 4. It comes with 16 wings, bulgogi cheese Fries, 8 mandu, and 4 sodas. Staff were friendly and food was prepared quickly. After ordering and receiving your food, there are tables inside where you can sit down to eat. There are also little plants on the tables for sale if you feel inclined to purchase one to bring home. We got: the tofu salad bowl --- good flavor, good portion Fried chicken combo - came with fries and a side - the fried chicken was good, had a good crisp. The fries was decent. Side of rice cake - they fried the rice cake first and then dipped in the rice cake sauce - a little too chewy for my taste. The bowl could easily be two meals in my opinion which would make it decent bang for buck and it's relatively fast since they just make your bowl in front of you. Obviously fried stuff takes more time though. It's definitely more fusion like given they have many different sauces and sides to add. I got the sweet soy and hot and spicy sauce and didn't taste much kick in it. My wife thought it was a little spicy though. A decent bowl, but also just seemed okay. Nothing blow your mind. The kimchi was kind of weird tasting. The honey butter chicken with cheese is similar to the "snow" Korean fried chicken you'd see. The chicken meat was super juicy and had a pretty great flavor. It came out super hot so watch out for the roof of your tongue. Workers are pretty nice. Stuff that doesn't affect my review : seems the speakers in this place are kinda messed up. Solid 3.5/5 We always come here for their Korean fried chicken - it's our favorite spot for Korean fried chicken in the area. The batter is so crunchy and the chicken always comes out juicy and tender. We've tried a few of the flavors, my fav is the Seoul chicken and the sweet + spicy! The reasons why I took off points were: - Just a little misleading that the manager did not honor their marketing promotions on their website. We saw a $1 wing promo and swung by for happy hour but they said it was no longer a thing even though their social media said so. We ordered the wings anyways, just disappointed in their false advertising. - the bowls are okay, not all the ingredients tasted super fresh all the time. I'd recommend coming here for the fried chicken over the bowl. I'd still get the bowl when I'm craving korean flavors because there aren't many korean restaurants in the area. Less than $20 for a full custom bowl of healthy meats, veggies, and killer sauces. Usually when a food truck starts serving in a restaurant, it's gotta be very good, e.g. The Box, Marination... unfortunately not this one. All of the toppings were disappointing! In a Korean bowl, the kimchi really needs to be good, but sadly it was not. It was like any other kimchi you can find in grocery stores, perhaps those are better. There was no garlic which I think is one of the most important ingredients, no salted fermented shrimp (saeujeot)... etc. Like it was made to suit American's taste buds (maybe that's why it's highly rated being in Kirkland where over 71% of population are Caucasians, 16% are Asians). It was so bland that obviously it wasn't pickled long enough with too few ingredients, you can tell by the taste, texture and color. It didn't have enough ingredients and time for proper fermentation, so the flavors didn't get to develop. But hey, the cost is lower, work is easier, and more Americans would like it. I don't wanna go into details on how disappointing every toppings was, like how the meat was so overcooked and dry. Let's just say there was one thing I liked - the Japchae! It was perfectly done! Service? I don't know if the only staff there deserved any tips - minimal talking, no smiles, no eye contact, no enthusiasm... it's clearly someone tolerating the job waiting for the shift to be over. Our Taekwondo Studio is on the other side of Safeway in the complex. So after a great workout at Taekwondo, we decided to try out Seoul Bowl. I heard good things so we were looking forward to it. We ordered a bowl and an order of Korean Fried Chicken. The Bowl was great. We could choose our base from regular rice, purple rice, salad, or chap chae. I tried the chap chae since it is one of my favorite Korean dishes. I got the bulgogi for my protein and it was really yummy. The Korean Fried Chicken is really good. It's nice and crispy even though we got the sauced version. It was so good. Totally worth the price we paid for it. It's my son's favorite item from Seoul Bowl. We really like to go there after Taekwondo if we don't know what to have for dinner. I think this will be one of our regular stops. read more

I have been a fan of their food trucks and so was pleasantly surprised when they opened restaurant shop. The ambiance might not be that great, has more of to-go/fast food feel to it. The food is amazing tho. The sauces blend so well together. Love their different toppings. The only complaint I might have would be the size of chicken pieces. There a bit too chunky for my preference, would have preferred smaller pieces instead. The service is amazing and has friendly staff! Growing up eating Korean food, I did not understand this place. It's called Seoul so I was expecting some Korean flavor and textures, but the flavors are overly sweet and the combos were unusual. It's maybe my own expectation and definition of Korean food and maybe this is an American interpretation that I'm not ready for.
