This is a charming looking backyard type place in the middle of the Main Street bars and clubs so it's a pretty nice place to go when the weather is nice and and a great Sunday afternoon type place. I didn't actually go there on a Sunday afternoon with nice weather but my walking group has walked by here on Sundays a few times and it's always full of life and has a good vibe. On the night we went through though, it was a slow night after an afternoon of rain and they were nice enough to let us bring a birthday cake for our friend after the other place next door said no outside foods allowed. Since prices have been mentioned, I will say that they ARE on the high side...I think my friend's beer cost $10 and my single shot drink was $17...BUT that's with 20% tip included. I wish they would mention that because I was a little confused since I didn't see a tip option and honestly I'm ok with not seeing the stupid multiple choice tip screen that guilts you into tipping more. As we visited while the temperatures were cooler, I loved that they had the tables with the fire pits for us to sit around - it made for a much more enjoyable experience! The drinks are higher priced but they are really cool and generally pretty aesthetic - where else do you get a drink where your ice cube is shaped like a bear? The drinks also tasted great. They do have a photographer that comes around every once in awhile to take photos which seems cool but ended up being more annoying. We asked if he would send it, he said yes but of course he never did. The place is fun, the vibes are good, the prices are high and the service is OK! The bartender was crafty, had to be Picasso in another life....really into his job...too bad he didn't share that same energy with his patrons. Yikes! No "hi", "bye", or "thank you". Where have manners gone, folks? Drinks are pretty pricey. You're paying for the location ya'll. I'll take an ugly and strong drink any day over a gorgeous and weak one. First time here and I had good experience. This is a cute open bar, garden style with a cozy atmosphere. The weather was little cold but they have heaters and we were comfortable. I really liked their drinks, the margarita was My girlfriend celebrated her birthday here and there was plenty of room for all the guests. The energy was good and at 11 the DJ showed up and the party started. Downside, it's downtown and we came across many homeless people, and parking can be tricky. My husband and I were invited to a social at SoHo Garden, and we had such a good time! The drinks were great, and the ambiance was both inviting and comfortable. I especially loved the greenery and floral atmosphere--it gave the space a fresh, vibrant vibe that made it feel like a little escape right in the city. The music set the tone perfectly without being too overpowering, and the staff made sure we were taken care of the whole night. It felt like the kind of place where you can dress up a little, relax with friends, and just enjoy the energy of the evening. Cute outdoor bar! Plenty of seating. Drinks were pretty good and staff was friendly. It is connected/outside of a residential building and some of the residents let their dogs go in the greenery which you can sometimes smell, I'm only adding that fact hoping someone will stop them or at least make them clean up after them. I dig this open air courtyard. It's so cosmopolitan, chic, and trendy. It's like being in a having garden surrounded by neon, floral, patio seating, deejay spinning, and booze. The craft cocktails and yes mocktails are gloriously delicious and appealing. Refreshing and flavorful glasses of liquid art. The crowd and staff are glamorous and trend-setting. We were staying at Moxy just two door down and popped in to check out the scene. It was simply elegant and wondrous. I've walked by this place so many times, I finally decided to check it out with my husband after work. It is right by Behind Closed Doors& Cherry's. The little signage on the sidewalk prompts you to turn into the garden area on the right. The ambience is very cute, a place to go after work for a drink and fresh air.. To one side they have the bar area then there are various seating options around. Many tables / seats had 'reserved' placed on them. That prompted us to ask the bartender where we could sit. She was very nice and suggested seats closer to the back. This is the type of place you come to when you want to enjoy good weather. There was a happy hour. I tried two drinks. The hibiscus margarita & the French 75. The French 75 is OK if that's your thing. The hibiscus margarita was horrid. The Smokey / spice was so over powering. My husband didn't care for it either. Location: Bravery Chef Hall They are located in a food hall and I have known about this location for about 3 years. When I get sushi from Kokoro, I typically get a cocktail from SoHo. I see they have changed the decor and added more seating. I was approached by a customer/ tenant who arranged for SoHo to have a R&B night. After my sushi I came back to support! SoHo is such a hidden gem, it's a location that is very hidden and I love the fact that you can get food from the hall and bring it back to SoHo. I enjoyed the impromptu evening , and I plan on coming back on another Thursday. They have a happy hour menu and so I opted for the Margarita! It's such a beautiful vibe! read more

Really cute bar in the back of Bravery Chef Hall. Only downside is it is entirely outdoors - which isn't optimal in hot humid Houston weather. The only part that is indoors is the bar where you order. But there's no bar seating so it's just for ordering, not sitting. They had a happy hour menu from 4 to 7. I was pretty happy with my $9 French 75 - tasty and reasonably strong. You can also order food in Bravery and bring it out here to eat. Soho Garden is a fun little patio bar in a pretty packed area of downtown. Perfect place to pop into for another drink while out bar hopping. We got there after 12 so there was no food. Music was loud but not too loud and there are plenty of seating options. It was a cold night but they had patio heaters everywhere. They have some nice photo worthy back drops for that perfect Instagram/ Yelp photo too. We only had beers so I can't speak to the mixed drinks. I will say the bartenders make little to no conversation and seem to not care at all. Other than that, I'd say it's definitely worth stopping by when in the area. read more

I've been coming to Soho Garden formally known as Secret Garden for a couple years. I cannot say enough good things about this amazing bar. The drinks have been the most consistent out of any bar in Houston and they always have a new menu with fun drinks that taste amazing. They can make anything you want. They have great mixologists! This ambience is phenomenal, it's always well-maintained and the staff is quick to service and help any customers. It feels like you're in a garden with all the flowers and beautiful decor. I recently had an event at this location and couldn't have asked for a better venue to have my wedding at. Thank you Soho Garden! Definitely coming back and referring friends and others to host events here! They can easily fit 80 people comfortably for private events. read more

We came for a drink after dinner. After waiting 20 minutes at the bar we finally got noticed by the bartender. She was taking our order and as she began to make our drinks the manager or whatever came by and said she cannot serve us and accused my friend of being intoxicated. After trying trying to explain we just came from dinner and wanted a drink she still refused to serve us and continued calling my friend drunk. We just left and not planning to go back there ever.
